I purchased an item, over $1200, in the store and have been a long time customer. I was given a price the same as the internet even after driving an hour to the store. I asked for a better price or discount and was told that the best they could do was to match the Polaris website. I told them that I had been given a discount in the past since I was shopping local and was a loyal customer. I was told they don't do that anymore. I asked for a manager and was told that there was no manager at the business, this was Thursday afternoon...a regular work day in the middle of the day, and when I questioned where the managers were I was told they were off. I requested that the employee call a manager and he agreed but then walked off so that there would be no chance I could speak to them. Later talked to a manager and he stated this was not a store for me. I agree. I will spend my $ elsewhere. read more

I just got my 2016 Indian Scout back after having a fender and tail light and wiring harness replaced it took five weeks to get my bike back I could have done it faster myself not happy when it was returned it was filthy it wasn't that way when I took it in apparently it's sat in the dust too long won't be recommending this place read more

Came here while I was visiting Dallas for a few days and to my surprise they actually had the dirt track smoke scout (read: matte gold) that was eluding my eyes back in California. Alas, California & Texas don't party together on the new bike registration/purchase laws, so the sale didn't pan out, but the service was excellent from the moment I walked in. Traveling through Texas on our 2018 Roadmaster Elite on our vacation and had balancing issues with front tire. Felt like riding a rototiller down the highway! Went 50 miles out of our way to get to this shop only for them to tell me they wouldn't help however suggested I take it to a local Harley shop and offered to file a warranty claim with Indian. How bout taking care of traveling Indian riders!!! Maybe I should have just bought a Harley!!!! Claimed they had just ran out of wheel weights.......Here's an idea.......how bout calling the Harley shop yourself and asking to borrow some weights so you can take care of an Indian rider and getting them back on the road safely!!!!!!!! read more

They tried to sell me an air filter for 74 bucks when it was online for 15 and I went across the street to power motor sports and I got it for 22. They weren't very knowledgeable on other bikes besides Indian and their staff seems to work only on commission so it was a shark feast. I brought my motorcycle in for a recall notice, they told me to bring it in on 10/18/22 which I did. I got there at around 11:30am it had a check engine light on so I told the to check that too. they asked me if I wanted to wait I replied yes. I gave them the recall letter, stayed their for an hour then I went next door to eat. I kept checking on the status but the claimed that they ran a test and I didn't need the fix despite the recall letter. This was around 4:00pm they asked if I wanted it to be washed I replied yes. So I went next door again for 45min when I got back they said my bike was ready. I turn the bike on and the first thing I see is a error code and the check engine light on. When i inquired what the hell was going on I've been here for 5hr at the point. I asked to see the manger I explained the whole situation to him. He went in and came out with some paper work that he wouldn't let me see and said I refused service. well let's say I didn't take that well. (reason why that reaction that morning they didn't have a part for another biker they volunteered to take him home and deliver his bike after they fixed it) I hate to say it was color related but I have to say they wouldn't even return by recall notice so police had to be called. It was whispered to my by one of their employees if your black it's best to go somewhere else. So if your African American I guess you need to go somewhere else. read more

We drove over an hour from fort worth to this location and it was definitely worth it. Unfortunately the motorcycle we originally intended to buy had sold 30 minutes prior to our arrival. However, the manager was very helpful and went out of his way to make up for this. Best service I have ever had. Everyone was extremely friendly and patient. I've been meaning to post a positive review, but kept forgetting. After today's experience, I felt like I couldn't put it off anymore. I'm on my 2nd Indian, with my most recent purchase made at Lonestar. Had a great buying experience and highly recommend this place. The service is what's amazing about Lonestar and what keeps me coming back. Kevin Martinez has helped me with parts and service since I started taking my bikes there and he and the guys always greet me when I walk in the door (it sort of feels like walking into Cheers except with motorcycles! :-) ) Today I went in and Kevin looks out the window and says my bike looked a little dusty and would it be ok if he went out and shined it up. Seriously! This happened today! I've never been to a shop where someone offers to shine my bike up - by hand - and didn'tveven need to! I mean, Kevin could have not said a word and provided the exceptional service he always does, but this was above and beyond! And EVERYONE here provides excellent service. This is why I come back here, vs any other dealer. I've visited a couple of other dealers but have never gotten the kind of service I do at Lonestar. Lone Star Indian Motorcycle has got to be one of the best of the best Indian Motorcycle dealers. I was searching nationally (from Portland Oregon) for a 2014 black Indian Chieftain with low mileage at a reasonable price. In January 2018, I found what I was looking for at Lone Star. Since the online reviews indicated they were a trustworthy dealer, I took a chance and reached out to them. After several friendly and helpful emails, texts and phone conversations, I negotiate what I felt was a good price and purchased the Chieftain (without inspecting and test driving it). I flew in (from Portland to Dallas), completed the transaction and rode it 2,500 miles home. I had a few minor issues with the bike and in each case they have stood behind the bike, resolved the problem, and even did more than I had requested to make sure I was a happy customer. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another motorcycle from Lone Star Indian. And based on their friendly and superb, go-the-extra-mile customer service, I wish I lived close enough that they could be my goto Indian dealership. I worked with Ryan and Alex on a 2015 Yamaha Bolt C-Spec. I had the crazy idea of buying this motorcycle over the phone and internet and arrange shipping from Dallas to Austin. I wouldn't recommend doing that and neither did Ryan, but Ryan was super easy to work with and continued as I insisted. He sent me great pictures and video of the bike as requested. Alex was then super helpful in getting the paperwork together and overnighting them to me with no hassle at all. Unfortunately, after riding a few more bikes, I found myself liking another one more and went with it. I apologize for wasting these guy's time but would HIGHLY recommend them as they were super easy to work with. If I'm ever in the Dallas area I plan to stop by and shake their hands. read more
