My experience with Al Lamb's Dallas Honda is limited to their service department, so my review is based upon that alone. I contacted them via their online messaging system, and after not receiving a response, I called to schedule a repair for my Honda Gold Wing Trike. I was told to drop it off on Friday, April 28th, and they would give me a call the following week with repair information. After receiving no follow up call, I contacted them on Friday May 5th, and was told they had not yet had a chance to look at it since they already had a trike on their lift. I asked for an estimated time frame, and was told they couldn't give me an estimate, but even when they were able to get it on the lift, it could take an unspecified amount of time to order parts for the repair. Essentially, they were not able to give me any useful information about my repair job, and really didn't seem all that bothered by this. Needless to say, I opted to pick it up and take it a shop that was able to be more precise and professional in scheduling my repair. Based upon this negative experience, I wouldn't recommend taking a trike to Al Lamb's Dallas Honda. read more

Very disappointed. I highly recommend contacting dealer before going to dealership as they use false pretense. For example, their website shows a price with pictures of Talon 1000r with accessories; however, those accessories are not included in price on website. Just glad I was persistent in contacting them before driving 3 hours to find out in person. read more

Good inventory and pretty helpful during the sale but they really fail with the help after and any follow up. They took 2 months to submit just my application for title. They were supposed to service my utv and when i got it home the air filter was filthy and wet. Turns out they didn't replace it like they were supposed. They offered to buy me a new one but never did that either. Only buy if they have a good deal but i wouldn't use them for any service. read more

Last summer while riding through 27 states we stopped at Al Lamb's Dallas Honda. First impressions might be how nice the dealership is but really it's how nice the staff is. This is one of those rare finds nowadays, a dealership that realizes it's about the motorcycles, the fun, and not all about making money. Ted and Santiago in service went above and beyond while servicing our bikes and changing out our tires. While we waited we spent some time chatting with Al Lamb who has set several land speed records, he is the humblest of nice guys. We visited a lot of motorcycle dealerships across the US during our journey and when we need parts or gear we call these guys, even though they are two states over and it cost us more with shipping. Had some work done on my Honda Ruckus a couple of days ago. It ran just fine for two days. Then the same problem happened; the reason for having it looked at initially. It feels like a huge waste of money. I hope that they will give me some kind of credit for the previous work and actually fix it this time. Absurd charges!! I went there to get the out-the-door price on a new bike and their fees are insane. They wanted $500 more than two other dealerships. They refused to give me a copy of the charges or take a photo of it. I've never heard of a dealership refusing to provide that. I can see why they're doing it since they're overcharging on their fees. Maxim Honda Yamaha in Allen and G&C in Shreveport gave me the out-the-door price for $500 less. Their service wasn't that great either. The salesman was half giving their attention to me and half giving it to someone else. There were multiple other salesmen just standing around. Our salesman also kept touching us. Don't touch people. I don't need my shoulder squeezed by you. When is that ever acceptable? I don't know you! Stranger danger!! read more

Service Dept is ridiculously unhelpful. Called last week to get some information regarding a 'recall' on my bike and was told to call back this week. It's a bad feeling when you walk into a dealership knowing more about the bikes on the floor than the sales guy, Mike. They make stuff up like the ctx700 has bluetooth stereo (not unless you bought one in Korea). Sales guy lies about what bikes are in Stock just to get you in the door, telling you they JUST sold that bike an hour ago or they deny your previous phone conversation completely. Their labor rates are in line with the Porsche dealer. The dealership is in the ghetto, literally a guy with a glass pipe smoking crack in the parking lot over. They prey on stupid people, selling lo jack to a guy on a 2003 Shadow lol. Don't dare try and trade a bike in. Matter of fact, goto another dealer.... read more

Parts was less than helpful picked up my windshield got home wrong one I called and was told that's what I ordered. No not exactly, because they had the right one in stock. He just grabbed the wrong one because the right one should have been more expensive ( vented ) and they didn't ask for more cash. Should have just admitted he grab the wrong one, to arrogant to admit it. You failed in my book to bad moving here in two months and I own three hands street bikes you just lost a lot of business! read more

After a very negative experience at Maxim, I came here to buy a Grom. Fast and smooth transaction, bought some accessories as well. After reading reviews for both places, it would seem as if I am the anomaly as I had a great experience at Al Lamb's. Financing options were clearly explained, paperwork wasn't rushed (I'm one of the people who likes to read a little before I sign), attitudes were great and people were helpful. I will most definitely be returning for services for the bike, and perhaps to pick up another. read more

Don't have them mail you your license plate. Pick it up from the store!!! They claimed that they mailed mine to me but I never got it. Then they said that it wasn't their problem. I had to get extremely angry for them to at least tell me to go to the DMV to get a one. They said that they could do nothing to help me. Very frustrating. Especially since each time I called to check on the license plate (over a 6 month period) they told me that they would call me once it came in....not that I should have already recieved it because it was mailed to me 4 weeks after the purchase. My purchase was in September.....it's now March and I STILL do not have license plate....and they wonder why I'm angry. They should have tried to help me but instead tried to make it MY fault that I never recieved it in the mail. I'll NEVER purchase anything from that store again. read more

Update on the 2012 Honda st1300 bought Nov 2014. A liar is something I am not. I would be the first to admit being wrong to something that is if I did something wrong. But I did nothing wrong. That goes to whom ever followed my last post. Al Lamb finally called me back after me making several calls and putting this on yelp. It is sad to say it took 3 weeks for the return call. Then I made another call back a week later to find out why he did not refund my money at the time he said he would. He did finally refund me for the 50% we agreed on for the damages. So I can give him some credit. My ST1300 in an excellent bike. It has been a year now and I have put 16000 miles on it with no troubles. I have only done perfect maintenance on it. read more

I have I always enjoyed stopping by this Honda shop. But the other day I needed some pants for a trip I was heading out on the next day. Prices were the same as most internet sites and well worth it for being able to try on before I made the purchase. But where this shop is far and above the rest is it is not a high pressure salesperson at every turn. The knowledge base is pretty incredible and not just Honda all bikes. As we were leaving started a conversation with some guys at the front and one of the guys introduced himself as Al. One of my buddies goes the Al and he replied yes. My experience wasn't good. I called about a new Prior year motorcycle that I saw online. The person who answered said that they had a new model of the same bike, but even another year Prior (so 2 years prior) for $300 less than the one online. I get there about 3 hours later (45min drive) and talked to a salesperson who was different than the one that answered there phone earlier. He leads me to the motorcycle I referred to, and VERIFIES that it's the same price quoted to me over the phone. Well, I get right to the financing, and after a little, the salesperson tells me that the EXACT one we've been looking at, that he VERIFIED was a certain price, is no longer that price quoted, but $800 more because of the accessories on it. I asked them to remove the accessories (windshield, passenger back rest & crash bars). The guy refuses, so I pass on it. Really? you can't undo a few bolts, I could've removed them myself, but I wouldn't get the cost back trying to resell them. At the biggest Honda motorcycle dealership in DFW, they can't put those accessories on another motorcycle of the same model? Please, basically a Bate & Switch! Everyone is going to call me cheap, but I went to 3 other dealerships w/ better ethics, and they worked w/ me instead of tricking me. read more

I needed to go to Al lambs Honda for a simple purchase of a turn signal and walked in straight to a parts counter kiosk. Stood there for al least 5 min and the parts guy never looked up or even acknowledged me. The other parts associate seemed really nice but was busy helping another customer inquiring about parts. Mean while I walk to the second kiosk and notice the guy wearing shoes that look like socks not even giving a shit if I even walk out, but I patiently waited and kept thinking about walking out the entire time I was there. At the end I bought what I needed after 35 min of being there and never saw anyone else walk in the door.
