I really love the concept of an indoor flea market however 90% of the items are not priced. Yes, it's a flea market so nothing is usually marked but these vendors hold their inventory here, they don't remove it every weekend so I don't understand why they can't price stuff. Half of the vendor owners weren't present so even if you wanted a price or wanted to buy something there is no one around to help. There is lots to see but the overall pricing is more antique mall / retail (eBay). I think paying $5 for a single issue of an 80s National Geographic is kind of ridiculous.

This is a small flea market, but it still offers plenty of things to buy. There's plenty of parking…read morewhich is free and most of the shops are covered. There's good food here and even more things to snack on. It can get really hot inside especially in the middle, make sure to buy something to drink or stick to the sides more. There are bathrooms but they're not well kept at all. There's also no ATM's so you'll have to bring cash. Some businesses do take card or zelle but most usually take only cash. It's a nice place if you looking to buy something while getting a bite to eat.

This mall is the largest in town and has a little bit, or a lot, of everything. Bigs, smalls, tea…read moreroom, different sections for different items, different cashier areas and lots of zig zags. Service is friendly and like other malls, they have roamers with keys to open cases. Price are average at best. They provide a map at the entrance of the layout, because many people get lost while browsing here. This took me 2 hours to run through and I was going fairly fast to give you an idea.

The help has always been pleasant. Well, usually pleasant. There are a couple people behind the counter that sometimes act like they are doing you a favor. My main problem with the place is that it doesn't have a lot of turnover. You can go there and see the same stuff week after week after week. There are literally pieces that have been in there four years. ( Ever since we moved to Fort Worth ). Now we go for mid-century modern and it's very scarce in there, but there are a couple dealers that seem to specialize in it. One has fair prices, but hardly any stock. The other one is fantasy land pricing with horrible taste. I mean we're talking Liberace on crack. Just really bad taste. And never in your life would you think you'd have to pay so much for bad taste, like Dolly Parton says it cost a lot of money to look this cheap! So there ya have it. We still go on occasion and we have purchased things in there in the past but right now I don't think I've got anything in the house that I kept that we got from there. Oh except for this awesome Raymor horse., that was a find. But usually we walk in there and walk right back out 20 mins later. We don't linger and we don't really poke around. There is one table, though that I wanted to buy from one of the dealers in the more junky part of the mall and I've asked about it. The dealer has it buried and she says at the front desk when they call her that it's sold, but it's been there for four years. Who does this???? I mean literally who puts something in their antique booth and then never sells it. It's not a display piece. It's a freakin end table. Crazy people. Anyway. The place must resonate with people in Fort Worth because like I said it's always busy. But I think it's location helps because you can see it from the highway and people driving through Fort Worth on 30 are bound to stop to check it out. Kind of like Pappadeaux and Papasito's tourist trap restaurants they're only busy because they're off of 30 .

Early info indicated this was at the Fort Worth Convention Center (weird location if you know FW,…read morebut ok) so I paid to park there and walked all over the convention center. Googled around forever on my phone and finally found something that said Will Rogers (should've known... these ppl must not be locals). Went back to my car, went to WR, paid $8 to park, found the bldg, paid $5 to get in, glanced in... didn't look good, hubs said he'd wait outside to avoid another $5, lady taking money told him just to go in. Weird mix of booths, lots of stuff that was almost cool... Took about 10 min to see everything. More to see and better prices at the free flea market that's open every weekend in WR, and that's saying something. They shouldn't charge to get in...

I also appreciate that they market themselves as a "Mercantile" and not an "antique store," as many "antique stores" sell a bunch of non-antiques which is frustrating, so I'm grateful for the straightforward and clear marketing! I found a couple of darling things for good prices that I'm very excited for, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see several staff members roaming the store, with one kind woman offering to hold our items up front while we shop! Everything I said about this place in my previous review, still rings true but they do have a lot of clothing that older women find appealing. So we found a beautiful smock blouse, long and floaty in a nice bright red and we brought it up to the counter. It was $160 plus with tax and all the girl did was wad up in a ball and stuff in a bag , but she even had to ask if we wanted a bag. Really these people don't care about what they're selling behind the counter I was appalled Do we want a bag? Did you think we were gonna wear it out? And what of the merchants there wouldn't they appreciate having their stock treated a little bit better with a little bit more respect.?
