Nothing could be handier than dropping your car here and being right at the gate. Of course, you expect your car to come back without damage, and that did not happen here. I get it - you are working a parking job at the airport but you don't have to be a jerk with my kids standing ther. Ended up being the same attendant there to pick my car up and he was just as bad. Please do not park here. I specifically paid for valet parking to get my car washed. I was in Las Vegas for 25 hours. Returned to Long Beach Airport and my car was not washed. The attendant explained the person that checked me in made a mistake instead of 6:30am they put 6:30pm. I was fine with that and even tipped. Everyone is human and we all make mistakes. However I looked at my ticket and the return time is 6:30am. I called the following day and the manager was rude. He explained the car wash is complimentary. Dropped off was super quick and simple but it's also Long Beach Airport. Only a couple bucks more for valet so I thought why not. The valet is what it is convenient and close but don't think for a second your car will come back cleaner. I called the morning of to make sure and they told me it was being washed. It was 7pm when we got in so you couldn't see what kind of job they did but they didn't touch the interior at all and the exterior looked the same as when we dropped it off. Traveling with children is never easy... I decided to use valet and the staff were very helpful and polite. It was quick and convenient! They had my car ready for me when I landed. It was SPOTLESS! They did a fabulous job washing it and offered me ice cold water bottles for me and my kids. I literally had to just walk right out of the airport and it was sitting waiting for me. This "valet" is not really a valet at all. When you think of valet, it brings up images of someone greeting you at the door, taking your keys, and then bringing your car back to you at the door when you return. Long Beach Airport Valet has none of that. First of all, they don't mention that the valet dropoff is like half a block from the actual entrance to the airport - only marginally closer than the long term parking. They made me park my own car and walk up to the window, and then I had to still walk over to the entrance of the airport lugging my luggage. Second, when I returned, there was only one attendant at the valet dropoff and she did not seem very friendly or caring. She was very short and did not smile or act friendly towards me. But the worst part of the valet experience is that they made me go GET MY OWN CAR. After I paid (outrageous price for the service provided; also they don't mention that a "day" is exactly 24 hours and they charge hourly after that, making my trip much more expensive than I planned), the attendant just handed me my keys! I had to ask where my car was and she just waved around the building and said it was on the side of the building. So I had to carry my luggage even farther and walk around the building to get my own car. If I could give 0/5 stars I would. Awful service, did not seem to care about my experience at all, very much not worth the price. read more

Horrible experience. Left my car around 6:30am and returned around 7:30pm. My car was not wash as promised - this was part of the reason I decided to park here and included in the service agreement. The staff was unapologetic and rude. The owner of this service needs to get involved with their unprofessional and classless employees. What's even more ridiculous is that the inside of the shop smelled like marijuana - doesn't make sense why they would be "partaking" during business hours. The employees I dealt with (noted just for identification purposes): Employee 1 - Younger man with giant gauges (holes) in his earlobes, not sure on ethnicity. Good: very convenient drop off as it is right next to the LGB terminal. Price is reasonable for that alone. Car was washed and lined up at pick up time too. Bad: pick up is very inconvenient when there's a line (even a few people) to get to the lone attendant to pay and get your keys. Finding a new door ding was also not OK. This place is worth it if you're running late and might not want to risk it with parking/walking. But it's best not to equate valet with higher end service, or you will be disappointed. Thank goodness I ran across this place while yelping over night parking in LB Airport. Anyone who knows me knows I'm more of a happy camper when there is valet. What can I say, I hate taking long walks in heels or wedges! They are adjacent to the terminal, literally steps away. Definitely convenient. Inconsistent to say the least. I parked my car here twice this week, and neither time was it washed when I picked it up. The first time I picked it up the girl was texting on her cell phone and she said that they were too busy to wash it... This evening when I was picking up my car, a flight attendant in front of me was also complaining that her car had not been washed, and the staff member was quite rude with her. I even overheard the staff member say she'd had this problem with her before, which I found amusing because it just pointed to the fact that they falsely advertise when they say a car wash is included... I was also charged different prices by the staff members despite the time parked being the same. The service is really convenient when you need to park quickly for a flight, but it is a shame that this is the only option for the valet. I was looking for parking on my first ever trip to Long Beach Airport. One sign stated $17 per day and another offered valet at $24. For a one day trip, I splurged for the extra $7. They asked if I wanted a complimentary car wash, but I declined since my car was already clean. Valet parking is how! I drove right up to the curb and dropped off my car. The gentleman working there was very nice and quick. He knew I was late so he didn't want to waste any time. I got back and my car was so clean I didn't know it was mine. I was in such a rush that I didn't even find out that a car wash is included in the price. My car was parked right up front, so no waiting for them to drive it around. All the people working there were so friendly. Wow. I made the mistake of asking for a premium detail at $149.00. What a joke. Water spots and tree sap were not removed. How do you wax over water spots and tree sap? What exactly they did to detail my car is a complete mystery to me. After paying and complaining to the valet, he told me to call the office and they would take care of me. And then after calling the office to complain I was told that my concerns would be addressed. It's now 9/3/14 and I have not received a call or email. When ever I valet park anywhere, I always remove everything from my car's glove box, counsel and slide out drawer. I dropped my car off at 530 AM Friday morning to return on Sunday for my pick up. I did have to ask for my bottle of water this time, unbeknownst to me, I left $32.00 on the seat of my car in my rush to exit and when I arrived on Sunday the gentleman (really he was) at the window asked my name and handed me an envelope that had my $32.00 in it! They are as honest as you can get here. My car was washed but because it was a busy Sunday they had to retrieve my car. The front lot was full with morning arrivals that never picked up. It only took about 1 minute for him to retrieve. I believe they park them right on the airport tarmac lot right behind their booth/office. Good to know because I feel more secure leaving it with them now. This is the second time I have used them this year and have had an excellent experience both times. The price has gone up though since June, I paid the $18 rate in June with my coupon.. Oh.. this time I forgot my coupon but they allowed me to show my virtual coupon on my iphone 4 and honored the price. If you have to leave your car for a half day, that is more than 5 hours. Ask to be charged the full day rate. Its less expensive than the $3.00 per hour over rate. I will continue to use their service! They only offer wash or full detail. Something in-between even for a pay for service would be nice. The only improvement would be to vacuum our cars too. read more

This was my first time flying out of Long Beach and I don't think I can ever go back to LAX. What makes it even better is the Valet. It was so easy. I dropped off my car with valet at 5:30am for my 6:45am flight. When I picked up my car it was nice and cleaned on the outside. The Long Beach Airport Valet, in my view, does fine work. They meet me at my car when I roll up, they are friendly, they ask when I'll be back and if I would like a wash. The walk to my gate, including going through security, rarely takes more than 5 minutes, 10 max. When I get back, my car is washed and located less than 50 steps from the window where I pay, they offer me water and they are generally very easy to work with, and at $24/day, I consider it a bargain! My family flew out of Long Beach to the East Coast over Thanksgiving weekend. As we approached the airport driving from Los Angeles, with a car full of kids and car seats and luggage, I said wistfully to my husband, "Wouldn't it be nice if there were valet?" And then there it was! We looked at each other and laughed and knew we had to do it. We could not have had a better experience. A nice man accompanied us from the car into the airport with all our things on a hotel style cart. The car was washed when we got it back, and there were cold water bottles waiting for us. Everything was within walking distance, and the price was actually competitive. It's impossible to travel light cross country with three children, but this made it much easier. I love flying out of LGB and I love when I can park At the LGB valet. Check the website for the coupon which saves a couple of bucks per day. They will also wash your car if you leave it for more than 24 hours or they have ahead notice.
