My texts to him after I met "Muhammad" (aka Mike). They weren't even started and already issues.

If this is the Best OC Valet - then someone better disrupt the market because this was the worst experience EVER. From the get go they were shady and creates stress for me. MIKE MUHAMMAD SAKIANI IS A DISHONEST SCAMMER AND NO ONE SHOULD DO BUSINESS WITH HIM I contacted the owner Mike Sakiani August 7th inquiring about valet service for my sister's engagement party. I explained that my mom's community does not allow cars parked in the neighborhood so I was also planning to rent parking in the Newport Dunes. On August 19th we connected briefly and he told me he planned to drive around the area and scout the parking situation. I reminded him I was planning to use the Newport Dunes. Tuesday, August 23rd, I again spoke with Mike and he told me he scouted the area Sunday and he planned to park on the street (Bayside Drive), I asked him if he was positive there was enough parking and he said yes. Again, I asked if I should do the Newport dunes and instead only hire 2 valet attendants. Mike said no, the dunes was not necessary and that instead I should hire the 3rd valet attendant to shuttle the other 2. I trust he had a plan - since it's his job and did his suggestion. I was emphatic about the parking situation, but said if hiring the third to shuttle the others, as an alternative to paying $15/car for the dunes then I'll just keep all 3 on the clock for 3 hours. I said great that saves me $300. We got off the phone and within 15 mins I forwarded it to my younger sister who was splitting costs with me as a gift to our older sister, and explained EXACTLY what Mike said by phone: My sister texted: Where are they parking? My response: On the street, we have the third attendant who will be driving the other Attendance. Mike has it all figured out, he told me this is a better option. MIKE HAD IT ALL FIGURED OUT. Yes, he was planning to do a rug pull and fuck up our older sisters engagement party Today, as soon as I arrived to my sisters party I walked up to the valet and introduced myself. Immediately I asked how do pay the invoice, and the attendant said it was his first day and he did not know. Before I could even go in he said there's no where to park - I immediately said, "that's not my problem, I hired you to figure out this problem". I asked where Mike was and they pointed to the back. I walked in that direction and met with two other men. I asked the older gentleman who he was and he said Muhammad. When I asked where Mike was he said "I don't know"... spoiler alert: 2 hours later I found out Muhammad was being dishonest as HE WAS MIKE! I called Mike and he did not answer so I texted him (see picture). When "Muhammad" was out of site, "Mike" answered my continuous phone calls. He played it off like he was remote and starts telling me that I need a shuttle and that's extra - I reminded him that the 3rd attendant was the shuttle. He said don't worry, they will figure it out. My fiancé spent 90 minutes doing their job, moving cars, making sure the cars were safe, even tried finding parking. Tow trucks were coming and they were complaining there was nowhere to park. I reminded him I had offered to rent the dunes, but he said no - he had the audacity to tell me I should call them now and see! Mind you, I hired them so no one would stress about parking. In this moment, I was pissed and "Muhammad" told me he doesn't answer to me. I said Your being paid to so right now you do. His response, no one's paid me. I said and who's paying you? His response: Ashlee - I AM ASHLEE I YELLED! Where's Mike I asked, and that's when he told me he was Mike. I was floored I was furious. The FIRST thing I tried to do when I arrived was pay them and this man lied saying he didn't know where Mike was... but HE WAS MIKE! At that moment I didn't want to deal with them. How shady - first this guy tells me I don't need to rent the Newport Dunes lot, then he says I need to pay extra for a shuttle, and then he lies about who he is!! It doesn't end there, before I left I finally approached him to pay. The agreed invoice was $630. When I asked what payment method he said anything. I was about to Venmo him $630 and he said no it's more because the shuttle... he calculated $840 - I laid everything above out for him and he kept pushing. I begrudgingly paid $700 and decided I will instead write an honest review for this shady company so no one else ever has to deal with this stress. Mike was clearly disappointed that I didn't pay him the $840 - he figured the money I saved from the dunes should go in his pocket. SCAMMER! You should NEVER pay to be inconvenienced and when a company messes up, they should eat the cost of making things right. So Mike, enjoy that extra $70 - it will likely be the last payment your company makes.

This company is pure class!! Amazing guys, beyond professional.

Twenty Eight's decor is very elegant and classy but not stuffy. It is very welcoming and comfortable. We arrived early to enjoy a few cocktails before dinner. Our drinks included the Rebel, Do the Hokey Toki and Somm's Old Fashion. The cocktails were a perfect way to start our evening! We had a party of 9 and ordered a variety of appetizers, entrees and sides. My husband and oldest son ordered the Chateaubriand and thoroughly enjoyed it. My middle son and I ordered the salmon, which was perfect as always. Several of our guests ordered the capellini and prime New York strip. Our appetizers: French fries, truffle fries, salmon crudo, Spanish octopus, Black Tiger Shrimp, and of course the famous griddled scallion pao with sambal chili butter (amazing!). Our sides included: garlic fried rice, broccoli and greens, mac and cheese, Brussel sprouts and potato puree. For dessert we ordered the seasonal sorbets: passionfruit and mango - super refreshing! The restaurant surprised my son with a congratulatory dessert for his graduation - totally unexpected and greatly appreciated! He absolutely loved it and it added such a nice touch to our evening! All the cocktails, appetizers, entrees, sides and desserts are absolutely amazing - we loved everything. But, I will say the one thing that is always above and beyond any other restaurant that I visit is the service. I cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciate the wonderful and warm customer service! Our hostesses, bartenders, server and food runners truly give you the best experience possible. Kevin was one of the first to warmly greet us - and of course he made us feel like old friends visiting again. Stacie visited us during dinner to check on us and make sure that we were enjoying our evening. Another amazing dinner at Twenty Eight and one that we will never forget. Thank you to Stacie, Kevin and the entire Twenty Eight staff for making my son's graduation dinner the absolute BEST. We will be back soon! Thank you!

All the food we got was good, but in comparison to visiting my local southeast Asian restaurants and accounting for the price, it was okay and not outstanding. The biggest Stand outs of this meal was the breads; they were incredibly fluffy and decadence and were a crowd favorite amongst my friends. Everything we got was something not worth getting, or something I've had better elsewhere. The service was good, but my main complaint was that because my party was a group of 6, we were given an awkwardly large table in a room that was empty except for out table and a few decor. As a result, our voices echoed and once again, the it was quite awkward for a high end restaurant. I wouldn't really come back here as a treat meal again, nor would I rave it to my friends.

We were not planning on getting cocktails but they ended up sounding so good. I got the Rhubarb Rendezvous and Steven got - I think it was called Now You See Me. Both delicious. We then opted for apps. Steven had the wedge salad and I got the corn and roasted peppers bisque. Absolutely delicious. Unfortunately my soup was on their main rotating menu that I was told changes every two to three weeks. Now you see me, now you don't I guess? The main menu changes also, but less frequently. I was very tempted to try the lamb on the short farm menu, but since I hadn't seen it on their site, I went in planning to get halibut, and I did. It was also delicious but I'm sure the lamb would have been too. Steven got the filet and what do you know? A restaurant that cooked it the way he wanted the first time. We followed our meal with their Milky Way dessert which was unique and their take on a milky way bar, and delicious. Zero complaints about our food and drinks. Service was top notch!! We were checked on constantly, our waters never made it to even half empty, and there was constant staff helping take the plates and bringing the food as well. Great experience!

I booked an afternoon reservation for a large party to celebrate my wife's birthday. I paid the required $500 deposit and committed to a minimum spend totaling a couple of thousand dollars for the dinner. When we arrived, we were refused service because my 12-year-old daughter was wearing leggings and was not dressed in what they considered "business attire." How ridiculous is that? According to the manager, "A 12-year-old is a teen and should know how to dress." Rather than showing any flexibility, common sense, or basic hospitality, they chose to turn away an entire birthday celebration over a child's outfit. There were numerous adults in both the bar area and the saloon wearing flip-flops, jean shorts, and other very casual attire. This establishment tries to present itself as a professional, upscale venue, yet several grown women on the staff were huddling together, whispering, staring, and giving dirty looks to a child, making her feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. Their behavior was far more inappropriate than anything she was wearing. The host staff, manager, and ownership should be ashamed of how this situation was handled. There was a complete lack of hospitality, professionalism, and basic courtesy. Fortunately, we ended up going down the road to The White House Restaurant, where we were welcomed with smiling faces and received outstanding service. The White House restaurant turned what could have been a ruined celebration into a wonderful experience. If you're considering this restaurant for a special event or family gathering, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. There are plenty of better alternatives that know how to treat their guests with respect.

Around 3:00 AM, I discovered that the air conditioning in our room was not working. The room was hot, uncomfortable, and completely unsuitable for rest. Given the situation, we went to the front desk to request a room change. Instead of helping, the staff member on duty immediately became rude and confrontational. I calmly explained that she was extremely tired and asked if we could move our belongings in the morning (before 8 AM) rather than in the middle of the night. That's when things escalated. He responded loudly: "You are not supposed to do this. You cannot keep two rooms. That's not how this works." His tone was aggressive and completely unnecessary. I politely asked him to lower his voice, but instead he became even more agitated. He started yelling in the lobby, saying things like, "How could you do this to me? It's only me working today--why would you bring this up right now?" At that point, it felt like he was taking his frustration out on us for simply reporting a problem. As the situation continued to escalate, I told him he needed to control himself and questioned why he was escalating things so far. In response, he said he would call the police to remove us. Let that sink in--paying guests, in the middle of the night, dealing with a broken AC, being yelled at in the lobby and threatened with police involvement. The entire interaction was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and honestly shocking. I was exhausted, overheated, and just asking for a reasonable solution. Instead, I met with hostility and public confrontation. Basic service recovery, respect, and professionalism were completely missing here. Instead of being able to rest, we found ourselves awake at 3:38 AM writing this review. What should have been a simple service request turned into an unnecessarily stressful and disruptive experience due to the staff member's unnecessary dramatic attitude in handling the situation.
