I got rear ended last week and I told the persons at fault insurance company I'm taking it here. Pretty much their insurance was mad because I know the laws. I told the adjuster they can come to the bodyshop and do whatever they have to do, but it's getting fixed here and they'll get billed. Brought my car here and they went above and beyond. They use PPG paint, which is really good if you know about paint/ cars. Anyways my car came out perfect and the paint was smooth as butter. They washed my car and even replaced one of my bulbs on my car! Great customer service and so easy to deal with! After getting rear-ended on the freeway by a crazy lady with no insurance, I had to find a body shop and FAST. I searched Yelp and came across the reviews for LB Collision Center. I gave Pat a call the next day and took my car in to see him. Right away I could tell I came to the right place. Pat was nice, helpful, honest and knew what he was talking about. I felt right at home. He hooked me up with a rental car company that not only gave me a ridiculously low rate for the rental, but also came to pick me up from the shop. Pat kept in touch with me for the week and a half he had my car. His estimate was right on target and he went above and beyond the basic repair of my bumper. He also replaced the seals around my tail lights because he noticed condensation and water build-up inside of them. What body shop will take the time to do something like that for you? Area is a bit run down.. Their parking lot is almost like a dirt road.. Getting those negatives out of the way, Dealing with Frank was one of the best experiences I have ever had in regards to customer service. He is very honest and direct and my work was done only one day later than expected but that was explained beforehand. The work on my mustang was restoration and body work and the job done exceeded my expectations as well as the price which ended up being below quoted due to Franks Honesty which is super important when dealing with anyone in the body shop/auto mechanic industry. Very friendly and answered all questions clearly and explained some nuances with the work itself. Completed work on time and did an outstanding job. The car is white so any mismatch would be obvious I suspect. The replaced/repaired area looks great and blends in with the rest of the car. Arranged for some unrelated touch up work as well which they completed a couple of weeks later during a separate visit. I almost never post a review, as I rarely encounter businesses that actually perform worthy of anything other than a negative comment. However, this is one Awesome body shop!!! We had our 2018 BMW X3 for less than 2 months when some guy attempted to park in the adjacent parking space, where we were parked in front of a Starbucks. The driver pulled alongside and managed to scratch all the way from the rear left bumper all down the driver side of our brand new X3. I began looking around for a reputable auto-body shop to repair our new BMW, but most body shops in Orange County were quoting a higher dollar value than the responsible party's insurance adjuster had quoted / allowed for, and most body shops were also indicating that it could take over 3-4 weeks to repair the damage. Also, many of the body shops were indicating that if there were any delays, e.g. waiting for parts, etc..., then we would be responsible for storage / delay fees. WTH. After searching through all the Yelp reviews for auto-body shops in Orange County - I found Long Beach Collision Center with a 5-star rating. Even though, it was a bit of a drive from our home in the Newport Beach area, I was definitely impressed with the "5-star" rating, the quality of work performed (consistently seen in all the photos attached on Yelp), and the frequency of very satisfied customers. I decided to give them a call. I spoke to both Francisco (owner) and Frank, who were both very attentive, quick to respond, and said they could perform the repairs in 5-7 business days. At first, I was skeptical, as most businesses today will say one thing to get you hooked, and then not perform, not take your calls, or provide some excuse as to why they could not actually complete the job within the time frame originally indicated. Frank took my initial call and quickly responded to my emails, in which I attached photo's (indicating the extent of the damage) on the same day. When my fiancée and I finally had time in our schedules to be without the vehicle for a few days, we called, and Frank said, "no problem, bring it in on December 18. I dropped off the vehicle in the afternoon on Dec. 18, 2018, while we were leaving town for 4 days during the 2018 Christmas holiday. We returned the day after Christmas, and I received a call on Wed. Dec. 26, 2018 from Frank, who said our BMW was ready and we could pick it up that evening. I was shocked and quite pleasantly surprised! Most businesses fall very short of what they promise - NOT Long Beach Collision Center - they not only got the job done in less time than quoted, but completed the repairs on our 2018 BMW X3 such that it once again looks brand new and you cannot tell it ever had any damage, the paint job is perfectly matched to our BMW's upgraded metallic paint, excellent quality work performed, and all the work was completed in less than the original 5-7 business days quoted, slightly under the dollar amount estimated, and not to mention, it was done over the Christmas Holiday. That being said, this means that they ACTUALLY really got the job done in 3 business days, far less than the 5-7 business days Frank quoted, and definitely way less than the 3-4 weeks that other larger, highly rated, and more expensive body shops in Orange County had quoted us. He went over the car, asked what parts I had (I had the replacement weatherstrip), pointed out other potential fixes I didn't call out, and discussed adjustments if the rust was worse than what he expected. I walked out with a written estimate told it would take five days. I settled on LBCC to handle the job. Dropped it off and four days later I got a call to pick it up. When I picked it up, Francisco updated me with what they did and finished some detailing. Initial impressions of the work was great. I couldn't tell where the damage was before. The job was also under budget from the estimate. I left very happy. With a few days of closer inspection, my initial assessment of the work is validated. I was in a car accident on the freeway, and my Audi and was towed to Long Beach Collision center. Upon arriving, the owner Pat walked me through the whole process of what I should do in terms of handling insurance, bodywork, claims, appraisals amongst other recommendations to make my life easier. My car ended up needing some pretty major work on the bumper, underside of the car, and damage from battery acid, but they were able to take on this big job and fix the car up as good as new. My poor celica has been through all types of stuff. From up and down the DMV area to a cross country road trip, she has gotten it's full share of weather abuse. I initially took my car to Eurotech. I don't even wanna mention their name, but I think I should so people know what to avoid. Eurotech was recommended to me by AAA, but they denied me service because the paint on my car was a custom color and didn't adhere to any standards. I asked them to just fix it, and I'll get it painted myself somewhere else. Still denied me. A friend recommended Long Beach Collision Center. Said he knew the owner. So I go there. This is a small area (parking is a little difficult, because they have so much business), and honestly it's not the newest building or area. But let me tell you, they took care of me. They were open and honest. Communication is paramount to me. They worked with the claims adjuster and my insurance (AAA). I barely had to do anything. They offered to set me up with a rental (didn't need it) and after looking at the car, said they could do it. I was admittedly skeptical because the aforementioned place I took my car said it'd be too difficult. They had to ask for more time to work on it because the paint was difficult to mix. I said no problem. Totally understood, and most importantly, they were up front about it. Again, communication is key. It didn't even take that much longer. When I was called in to get the car today, wow. It was better than before the accident. The whole car was totally clean, buffed, the whole nine. Color matched amazingly, and even scratches that existed before were gone. This is way above and beyond what I was expecting. Francisco and his team are legit. All of them were nice and respectful. There's a reason why they're getting so many good reviews. It's so rare a place like this exists. Support these places, because you don't see them too often. Highly recommended. This is my first review, and I am glad that it is to share the positive experience I had at Long Beach Collision Center. My 2003 Toyota Sequoia passenger door was overextended open and folded forward, ruining the hinges, door, and twisted the pillar. I picked up a door at the local wreck yard from an '02 Sequoia and brought it here. The guys here repaired the pillar, installed it, changed the interior panel from my damaged door to the replacement door, and painted it. It is good as new. I was nervous that the door wouldn't shut perfect, and that I would hear road wind. Let me tell you, the door closes smooth right on the latch, and she sits tight in her spot.
