We took our daughter's car in to have some work done on the back fender (she had a slight run-in with the side of the house). Pat was extremely friendly, told us exactly what needed to be done, and gave us a fair price for the repairs. A few days later we went to pick up the car. Not only had he done a wonderful on the fender, he found a crack in the bumper and fixed that too. The car has two different colors, so the bumper needed be be painted a different color from the fender. He fixed it, painted it, and didn't charge us anything extra. This place is a real find. The guys at this shop did an amazing job on my 2006 Acura fixing an accident caused by someone hitting me from behind. The job did a more extensive inspection that uncovered another $2500 worth of damage beyond the initial progressive estimate. They even went above and beyond to clean the headlight oxidation which made them look brand new again. Pat also did his best to work through the insurance hurtles that were part of the difficult process when the coverage of the other party was insufficient to cover the amount of damage. This review is long overdue, but even now over three years later, I'm still impressed by Francisco and the rest of his team. In the spring of 2015, the hood of my 2002 Mazda Tribute was damaged by an idiot mechanic that didn't close the hood enough to latch. When it flew open, it didn't damage just the hood, but the hinges of the hood, dented the middle of the roof by the windshield and a broke the windshield. Because of delays by the insurance company, it took about three weeks from start to finish, but the work they did was so perfect, you'd never know there was ever any damage to it. The whole time it was there, they kept me updated on their progress etc. and dealt with the insurance company too. Since that time I've been recommending them to anyone that I know or hear of that needs any type of work done on their car because Francisco and the rest of his team are the best! I wish I had taken a before picture because I really did some damage on my poor car. I bent the entire fender from parking on a curb that had a large piece of concrete that had broken off. I was a little disappointed with my experience here after the reading all the great reviews. While the quote to repair my car was lower than the place my insurance sent me to (Calliber), they did not do that great a job repairing my bumper. There were bumps and uneven places where they didn't finish sanding it right before they painted it. They had said they would take care of me, and fix a few other minor issues my car had. Well, when I came to pick up my car, they had not done the extra things they said they would so they was dissapointing. They also removed something from my trunk (a car part) and after I got my car home I noticed it missing, then I had to call and had to go all the way back to get it from them. I would give them more if I could and gold ones at that :-) I got off of work one day to find that someone had "Chuck Norrised" (dented) the shit out of my car door. With no witnesses and a security camera conveniently pointed in another direction, I knew I was SOL. Every place my insurance sent me to quoted these astronomical prices that I would have to pay out of pocket and I would have to get a new door. Now the dent was bad but not new door that may not match the rest of my car bad. I consulted my yelp app, found this place, read all the reviews and decided to bring my car in. Pat surveyed the damage and quoted me half the price of the other places and I'd get to keep my original door, yay! Lol He said it'd take 4 days but 2 days later I got a call saying my car was ready. They'd not only fixed my dent, they'd washed and waxed my exterior and vacuumed my interior. They also installed a locking mechanism free of charge! These guys are amazing!!! I recently got into a car accident and had the rear bumper of my 2013 Chevy Sonic smashed in, after looking around for a reputable body shop I stumbled upon Long Beach Collision Center. After taking my car in I was immediately greeted by Frank, he explained the process throughly, given that this was my first car accident I was relieved he took the time to explain everything and didn't get irritated at the many questions I had. It took 3 weeks for the car to get fixed due to some interior damaged but when I picked it up it looked like nothing had ever happened to it. Frank even did a change of oil for free and cleaned my car inside and out. I was so excited to see my little "Bo" again in pristine conditions. I chose this repair shop because it was the 2nd most affordable one with great reviews. I went to 9 different shops to get an estimate. The cheapest place had less reviews so I decided not to go to that one. I am overall very satisfied with the result. I would give this place 4.5 stars but that option isn't available. The reason I rate it a 4.5 instead of 5 is because the time it would take to fix my car was pushed back. Initially I was told it was going to take 10 days. I called for a status update prior to the 10th day and was told it wasn't ready and needed more time. They also wanted to see if I wanted to get new fender liners because the ones I had were cracked. They ended up repairing the liners free of charge, which is awesome! I was given a new date that my car would be ready by. Once again I called before this new date to check on my car. It wasn't ready yet and another date was given to me. This last time was when my car was ready to go! I was told it was going to be ready by this past Friday (11/18) so I called yesterday after work to see if I could go pick it up. Frank told me I could pick it up but he was going to rush the car wash or something ( I forgot what he mentioned) or I could choose to pick it up today instead and he would be able to spend more time on washing my car. I decided to come in today. When I saw my car it looked like a totally different car, in a good way!!! I am extremely pleased in the way it turned out. Frank pointed out the areas that he additionally worked on that weren't in the original estimate. He felt he had to fix all damaged areas so his work could be complete. I am very grateful for this. Once again, the reason I am rating this shop 4.5 is due to the time it took to fix. It went from the original 10 days to 3.5 weeks. The overall appearance though, before and after, does deserve the 5 stars. read more

My boyfriend and I found this place on yelp after a bad morning after a mini accident. We had a lot of different quotes from other places, but I'm so glad we came here instead! Pat was so helpful and honest about the work being done correctly. There was a lot or work to be done on the car (about $6,000 worth), but Pat took the time to explain to us in detail how it would be fixed, the cost, and time frame. He worked with our insurance to get the best deal for us and although he took 2 days longer than he said he would, he made up for it completely. His car looked BETTER than when he got it from the dealership. Before, the paint on the bumper was a shade off from the rest of the car and the headlights were fogged up - after, his whole car was one pearly shade and headlights were buffed. & it didn't stop here guys.. The best auto body shop in Long Beach! I bought a used 2009 BMW 328xi which needed body work. The quarter panel and front core support needed work. I brought it several body shops in the area to get a quote and LB Collision quoted me the best rate. Francisco and his team did an amazing job on my car. They went out of the way to fix my broken headlight tabs and gave a good polish on the entire right side of the car. Also, the exterior and engine was washed and detailed. Great job guys! I went to LBCC on Sat 1/6/18 for an estimate for a new paint job on my SUV. I met a couple who were picking up their vehicle who asked me if this was my 1st time here and I replied yes. They informed me they were very happy with the service performed on their vehicle and highly recommended LBCC. Francisco was very informative and while he could have charged me for a whole new paint job, he told me all I needed was a good buffing and wax job. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Francisco and his team are friendly, professional and all of them were willing to help me even when I got there early to drop my car off and the estimator wasn't there yet. They kept me posted throughout the process and finished within the timeframe that they had quoted me. No surprises. I had a small incident where the back side panel of my car got scratched as I was leaving a parking space next to a chain-link fence. I hadn't seen a big lock dangling from the fence as it was in my blind spot. I went to the dealer and was quoted over $1500 for the repair. I checked out other local repair places and read the reviews about Long Beach Collision. They were way less expensive than the dealer and the yelp reviews weall fantastic. I did check out one other company. Although their quote was the cheapest, the reviews talked about employees taking spare change out of the cars. Plus, rather than painting the entire panel to make a good match, they were only going to paint with where the scratch was. (No wonder they were cheaper!). ( don't @ me ) my 2018 camaro had been side swiped by a street sweeper and I didn't want to go through insurance to pay the deductible. I did not want to spend the $600-800 to replace the bumper so I asked if they could bump it out. He said he would, but could not guarantee that the scratches or marks from the dent would be gone. I've taken my car here twice for minor body work and both times I've been completely satisfied. I hate to say this, but being a female and dealing with car related issues is definitely not easy. I've been in a few situations in the past where I've been told I need to fix a certain thing, and as soon as I show up with a guy, the mechanic changes his story.
