This place is a scam. I dropped off my computer a few months ago for a diagnostic check because my computer wouldn't turn on. He told me it was a bad motherboard so I bought a new one and he installed it for $100. We went back home and the pc turned on but the screen would just stay black. We took it back to him and he says it's a bad hard drive. We left it there for about 2 months until our hard drive came in. We go back to him so he can install the hard drive and he recycled all my parts. Now they do have a policy saying after 20 days the owner could do what ever he wants with the computer. We was never told this when dropping off the computer they just have a small paper in the store saying it. So I ask him why wouldn't you tell me about the policy when I dropped off the computer or why wouldn't you call or text me about the policy before recycling all of my parts. And he tells me "if I tell the customer about the policy I wouldn't be in business for the last 16 years" (meaning I don't tell anyone about the policy so I can just sell all their parts without them knowing) so basically they sold my $1400 computer without me knowing. I should have read the other two reviews. I dropped off my iPhone for a simple repair that literally would take five minutes (replace the bezel). They told me to come back in three hours. When I returned in *four* hours, the guy said, "oh he's out getting the part". What--an hour after you said it would be done? He didnt know when the guy would be back or where he was and admitted the guy had "taken a long break". When I said, "that isnt cool," he said, "Oh SNAP!" Oh snap this, you jerks, you now have another bad review. I asked for the phone number of the manager, and he refused to give it to me. So Mr Manager/Owner, that is the kind of employees you have. Called ahead of time to see if they were able to help me out with my MAC Book Pro. The guy said sure- bring it in and I'll check it out. I told him I'd be there in 5 minutes. I drive over there and he tells me that it would be a 2 hour wait. ... But over the phone he made it sound like it would be no wait at all. Before we even finished our conversation he rolled around in his chair and started working on a computer. He basically summoned me out of the door... There was no good bye or we will see you soon... It was just him rolling around and acting as if I didn't even walk through the door. I NEVER leave bad comments on yelp- ever! Spent several weeks with them trying to clean up our computer only to discover in the end that: A) the Windows system the used was a cheap spotty version they lifted from some crappy website, and B) They had "given us back" our i-Pod Sync cable. Well they did replace the screen on my kids iPhone In one hour as said. Payed 80 bucks. The new screen has no contrast , wash out. Plus a yellow spot near one corner . I was told they would replace it next Friday when a shipment of screens arrived. Dropped it off returned 3hours later. The counter man said it was replaced but no. Long story short same screen. I asked for a refund. He said the boss was out. I said I would wait. After 30 minutes he called the boss and lied about changing the screen. Was told they would put my old broken screen back. No way was I gonna let the guy touch the phone so I asked for 50 back. Was offered 40. I took it. The phone is usable and my kid doesn't mind. Someone asked how they stay in biz. While I was waiting a guy came in to pick up his lap top. 100 to replace a bad HD 50 for data recovery. He provided the drive. Counter man said no recovery. He says okay, then turns on really loud annoying club music and starts working on a computer. How F-ing rude. Horrible!!! Never go here. In fact, when you get a starbucks coffee next door you should pop your head in the door and tell them that you never coming there because they suck. I negotiated a price with them and when my wife picked up the laptop they charged her more. They also gave us an hp charger for or laptop which is a Dell. Where did ours go? Took my iphone in to have my screen replaced. Before I got to my car realized the home button did not work. I took it back in and they got it working. A few weeks later it only worked intermittently. I called to see if they could fix it, they wanted $49 soI took it to another place in Signal Hill and he showed me where the home button was damaged from the screen repair and charged less the guys who damaged it. read more

Don't patronize this business! Not only did I experience a total inconvenient mess, and had to come back 4 times, my iPhone screen was replaced by a defective screen, and then they still didn't have the correct screen to replace the defective screen that was put on. Then before leaving I was barked at "it is a new screen and it works" by someone I wasn't even dealing with previously... When I called the number on the sign inside the store for comments and complaints, to find out why this was dealt with as business as usual, and was not offered any apology, or compensation for the incredible inconvenience. I was interrupted, badgered, and interrogated. The call was answered by "hello" and ended with management personally attacking me with " you need mental help, have a nice life". They also have printed on the bottom of the invoice, to ask for a zero balance to avoid collections! On the back of the invoice it states, techs do not need to explain repairs, and they are not responsible for any damage to your property. ( The co. charging is LBPC Inc., and have several of such business) This is totally unacceptable behavior, and is not alright to treat anyone in like this, especially a paying customer, that has not treated anyone with anything but respect, and tried by be patient and understanding. I'm embarrassed to write this after reading the other reviews, but here goes...I am a computer novice that has had my desk and lap tops cleaned at this business in the past. The service was okay at best, but since I know nothing about computers, I know nothing. I decided to buy a used Mac-book for my 12 yr old...figured he would beat it up anyway so used was cool, as long as it ran. Turns out they sold me one that wouldn't charge the battery...essentially a small, thin, desktop. I brought it back and was told, "You bought it as is. That'll be $400 to fix it and make it a laptop again". I told them the story about screw me once shame on me... Moral of the story is that this is a dishonest business run by morally bankrupt individuals that have the honesty and integrity of street walking prostitutes. Never bring anything to them. My Macbook went down on Thursday and i thought my life was over. I was thinking of maybe buying a new one but decided to get it looked at 1st. . I checked yelp and found Mac Repair Long Beach, I wasn't too far away so decided to drive over to see if they can help me out. Danny was the one who assisted me and after telling him my issue he said leave your mac, let me run a diagnosis and he'll call me right away. Within an hour or so he called me back and told me that my logic board had corrosion and would require a replacement. A replacement that would cost me a little over $400. I immediately said yes and Danny told me it would take a day or so for the part to arrive. True to his word, he called me the next day to tell me he was almost done and that he would call again as soon as it was functioning perfectly. This morning i happily picked up my mac (keep in mind it is Labor Day weekend) after Danny opened my baby up in the shop and showed me she was in perfect working order. I've been on it all day and she is running like a brand new mac! Very happy... Thanks again Danny, you're the best! read more

This place sucks!! Young and rude employees are just the tip of the iceberg. The first time I brought my computer and they said that the hard drive needed to be replaced. $200- Done. The next time my husband brought his Apple Notebook and they said the same exact thing. My husband hadn't had his laptop for more than a few years so he was very concerned when they told him their diagnosis. He called Apple and after being on the phone for a bit, they had him update his browser and VOILA!!! It fixed the problem. I don't trust these people whatsoever. I cant help but wonder if my computer really needed a new hard drive or not. In any event, I lost all of my information during that process which is not cool. I came to these people with my iPhone 7, which had a broken screen. They replaced it fast, and I was pleased. However. After about a month the screen started freaking out on me, doing things while I wasn't touching the screen. It also would not perform 3D touch. I took it back to them and they refused to help me because it was out of the "30 day guarantee". I provided a receipt, and asked if they could give me half off on a replacement, and they said no. Let me inform everyone who reads this. The broken "glass" on your phone's screen is called the digitizer, and they can be bought for less than $20 almost anywhere. These people replaced this $20 part for $98.64, it didn't work, and they didn't own up to it. There is zero physical damage, and they used the "we don't know if you dropped it" excuse. I took it to Apple to replace it for only $50 more, and they informed me that the screen that they replaced was for a different phone than an iPhone 7, and that's why it was misbehaving. So they not only ripped me off, they used the wrong parts. Hacks. Hacks, with poor moral. Looking at my receipt, I also see they're selling Windows XP machines for $299. WINDOWS XP WENT OUT OF SUPPORT BY MICROSOFT APRIL 8TH 2014. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsforbusiness/end-of-xp-support For those who don't know the significance of this, XP being out of support means that the operating system gets zero security updates, leaving you more vulnerable to viruses and other malicious software. Also means that Microsoft doesn't care about the licenses which translates to the reason they are still selling Windows XP machines is because they don't have to pay for the license, and are essentially stealing Microsoft's software. This solution leaves the customer vulnerable, and is cost free for them. No Anti-Virus will keep you 100% safe with an updated version of Windows, let alone an out of date version of Windows. I'd like to also add that their 50% Cheaper Than "Best Buys" coupon is hilarious because they made it plural. Can't find any business called "Best Buys" to compare their prices to. read more

I called this place to get my laptop fan replaced. The guy I spoke to was extremely nice and gave me a good price. I went there with my laptop and a different guy was behind the counter. He hated his life, his job and his existence. He didn't seem to realize a customer just walked in. (I was the only customer). When I waited until he got in the mood for a conversation it took me 30 seconds to realized he didn't want to be bothered. I left the place never to go back there again. I was on a work trip and was suppose to show plans to a future builder for my job and I use my mac to work on and store my work. Well when I got to the hotel I had dinner at a spot near by and food was great! BUT when I got back to the hotel I sat down to fresh up on the plans, so I can look good showing them the next day,,,my mac would not work, I had a frozen screen and it felt like it was running hot. I went to the help desk at the hotel and asked if they knew of a computer shop or if they ever had this problem. One of the workers suggested a shop called computer repair long beach so they looked up the number and I gave them a call...they were closing but the manager said if I can head over he would look at it. Not only did he look at it he said he had fixed issues like this before and began working on it for me, within the hour I was saved. This business is a joke. They will try to rob you. I took in my 5yr old laptop that has been running fine since i got it new, except that i just needed to get my keyboard cleaned out because some of the keys didn't work right, but two days later they called me saying my hard drive is bad... So they tried to get me to believe i needed a new hard drive when i have never had a single problem with it in 5 years... I told him "don't worry about the hard drive i just needed my keyboard fixed" So then he said " well you probly need a new keyboard so the price would be around $119" So i said " don't touch anything" and picked it up the next day. I didn't try and fix the laptop my self because i'm not very good at taking electronics apart and putting them back together so i wanted it done right but...All he had to do was take apart the keyboard and clean it out and that would have probly solved my problem but instead he tried to get me to buy a new hard drive and then tried to get me to buy new keyboard. Looking at all the other unsatisfied costumer reviews on yelp with this business makes me think that the only way they can afford to stay in business is by robbing people just like they tried to rob me. read more

Took my laptop here after it started running pretty slow and i was no longer able to back up anything onto it even after I had moved all my pictures onto a separate hard drive. I was able to get it fixed in a timely manner with great service and my laptop is running like new again!
