Blackened Asian bass lunch special - excellent
    Ashley W.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Not much as far as ambiance, as the building gives off old boat storage warehouse vibes, but I'll say that all of our food definitely hit the mark![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband and I both had the blackened fish lunch special, and today it was an Asian bass since they were out of Mahi Mahi. The fish was exceptional, cooked perfectly. All of the sides were great, zero complaints about a thing! We had green beans, a baked potato, side salads, and my son had broccoli with his kids meal. Everything was excellent. The kids meal was a huge heap of food for $8.99, it was unreal. Full plate of chicken tender nuggets and a big order of broccoli. Very happy with all of it!

The buffalo chicken sandwich here is good and the blackened tuna steak is even better. The onion rings were standard onion rings, tasty. The service was good and attentive. I would come back here and try other items on their menu.

My friend and I ended up going to this restaurant while we were in Gulfport around Mardi Gras. We decided to go here after a place that we had looked up was closed that day. I am so pleased with this second choice! The fried green tomatoes and the Boudin eggrolls were enough for me to be satisfied. They were so good! I would come back just for the tomatoes!!! Our entrées were good as well, but I think we were so full from our appetizers that we didn't get to enjoy them fully like we wanted to. Drinks were good. I had a whiskey sour and my friend had an old-fashioned. Everything was right on point. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was good, and the place seemed family and pet friendly since a table had their small dog with them who barked loudly and randomly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That would be my only complaint.

I had a good meal here. That's for damn sure! Thank yo, Sully, or however you are. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's in a strange building that seems to be part old, part new. It's a cool setup with some dining in the main room, some other dining on the other side with a nice covered patio[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My lunch companions explained that they do bare knuckle boxing upstairs with a ring and all. That sounds interesting for sure[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Apparently, this place is name after a legendary bare knuckle fighter of some kind. I would bet a dollar that his name was "Sully". [[HIGHLIGHT]]When you walk in and approach the host, there is an outside rain down spout that runs inside from the roof directly behind the host stand to some French drains in the floor. It looks odd, out of place, and intentional enough looking to be a part of someone's clever idea of interior design[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I asked the hostess if rain actually came down it when it rained. She said "yes, it does, and boy is it fun". I picked up on her sarcasm but did not inquire about her disdain, as she just snatched the menus and led us to our table. She needs a hug I think. My guests all suggested the burgers. Strongly, multiple times. They also said the steaks were good which is HIGHLY subjective. I generally don't eat steaks at places with metal chairs. I just wasn't in the mood for a burger, so I went for the Fried Pork Chop plate lunch. It was described as pounded with a mallet and flattened, then fried. I guess they were, I was thinking they would be thinner. I had onion rings from the freezer section of your local Sysco and mashed potatoes that were fair. Pork Chops were really tasty but the breading sloughed off very easily. They served the meal with Honey Gold sauce. Totally fucking strange. The little cornbread was very tasty. A couple of them did get burgers and they looked good enough to eat. I didn't get pics, I don't know them that well yet. Mikey got the grilled pork chop lunch. WTF, again Mikey?!?!? His hushpuppy strings looked interesting. He didn't give me any. Asshat. I will give this place another visit if I ever find it again. It gets difficult managing the different timelines and layers sometimes. You never know where you will show up. 3I/ATLAS will probably knock Mars into us anyway soon. Eat up! Be merry! Don't look up!! '25 - 65/111

For a short visit to Gulfport Mississippi, this is probably our most visited spot! A few reasons behind that, great food! Great happy hour! Great people! How many places can you go with a two for one happy hour that you can even take home with you? Our shrimp and grits was absolutely to die for! My wife enjoyed every dish she had as well! We know where we'll be going when we visit Gulfport again!

I visited Sully's for the 2nd time a few weeks ago, with my girlfriend and her family. I got the same dish I got the first time I visited Sully's and that was the Spicy Chicken and Andouille Pasta. That cream sauce makes this pasta dish so delicious, I had to bring half of it home it was so filling. The service was great just like the first time I visited, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance is very comforting[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't wait to go back to Sully's again in the near future!!

The waitress was so sweet and kind. I asked for recommendations on drinks and asked her pick and she gave me 2 delicious drinks options. The crab cakes were so delicious and I don't eat seafood! The steaks were perfect and we definitely enjoyed ourselves here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Get here early because they do get busy and it was crazy how crowded they get, but so definitely worth it!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Sully's always has the best customer service from all their employees! The food is always on point and so delicious! We had a party of 18 last minute and they accommodated us so well at lunchtime on Monday. Our server was Riley C. and she was outstanding. My husband had a fried shrimp poboy and very delicious fries. I had the lunch menu of grilled pork chops, squash, and sweet potato. It was so good! We definitely will return.

The 2 for 1 happy hour caught my attention and it was all good after that - wait staff excellent, food off the charts, [[HIGHLIGHT]]atmosphere welcoming and laid back[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Definitely a treat after a good day at the casino. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great time out with friends

When we arrived at Bonfire me and my date were the only ones there. I have no idea how long it had been open but it looked brand new. The atmosphere was very pleasant. I loved the lighting fixtures and the design of the seating area. There was also a dj that added to the atmosphere. Bonfire being a Jamaican restaurant I thought it apt to order the Jerk Chicken. You get 2 sides with the entree. I ordered the mac and cheese and french fries. My date got the catfish along with the potato salad and french fries. I was eager to dig in when the food came back. First off the fries were very crisp and fried to perfection. The mac and cheese was delicious. It was some of the best I've had at a restaurant in a long time. The jerk chicken was absolutely amazing. It came with the jerk sauce on the side. Honestly, I really didn't need it. The chicken had a delicious smoked flavor. It tasted like chicken you'd eat at a summer bbq. I can not say enough about the jerk chicken. I tasted the catfish my date ordered and it was really good too. I really would love to come back here and try more things.

We all ordered steaks and they were all cooked correctly. My sister & I both ordered The Longhorn Porterhouse steaks but we both agreed that their porterhouse steaks were not true porterhouse steaks due to the thickness of the steaks. A normal T-Bone steak is 1 inch thick and a true Porterhouse steak should be 1.5 inches thick and today our Porterhouse was only 1 inch thick so it was only a T-Bone being sold as a Porterhouse steak. From the moment I interacted with the staff, the service was rude and dismissive. Instead of being greeted politely or treated like a paying customer, the employees I dealt with seemed irritated that I even had questions about my order. Their tone was short and unprofessional, and it made the whole interaction uncomfortable. What really crossed the line, though, happened when I was handed my to-go order. While passing me the to-go box, the employee shoved it forward carelessly and ended up hitting me directly in the face with it. There was no apology, no acknowledgment, and no concern shown afterward. It felt extremely disrespectful and honestly shocking that something like that could happen and be brushed off like it didn't matter. Customer service should always involve basic respect and professionalism. Accidents can happen, but the complete lack of accountability or apology afterward made the situation much worse. No customer should feel disrespected or physically struck, even accidentally, when simply picking up their food. I hope management takes situations like this seriously and works on improving how customers are treated. A restaurant's reputation isn't just about the food--it's also about how people are treated when they walk through the door.

We placed drink and food orders at same time. A couple of us went to the poorly maintained restrooms. Filthy was the better word to use. They matched the rest of the restaurant. Upon getting back, the drinks were brought to the table. One of the waters had debris in it and the iced tea was not with ordered lemon. Eventually after a very long wait, our food arrived. None of the steaks were cooked as ordered. All were rare, not medium medium well, or well done as ordered. We had to ask for rolls. One of the steaks was requested to be cooked as ordered and when it was returned, another server slightly slung it onto the table with a sour attitude. That recooked steak was still rare. Server never returned to top off drinks or check on us. We had to request the server to get our check. When she returned the check, the provided credit card wasn't in the folder. Cooked a perfect medium rare--exactly the way a steak like that should be served. Great crust, incredible flavor, tender all the way through. One of those steaks where after the first bite you just stop talking for a second. The baked potato was fantastic too, and they did it right--it came with every topping you could think of, all laid out in a clean, polished, professional way instead of just tossing stuff on a plate and hoping for the best.
