My transmission went out and my husband was out of town, I called a friend who instantly picked me up and said let me call my buddy, Dayle. Within minutes he was there hooking up my vehicle to a flatbed trailer and hauling it back to my home....we had an absolutely marvelous conversation afterwards and I just couldn't believe how reasonable his prices were, it really shocked me to be honest. I'm very used to being price gouged in any situation like this and I was fully prepared for that to be the case this time too....but I was wrong. Some good Samaritans tried so nicely but I became worried about hurting the car (or theirs). We called Ocean Shores Towing and he was there within 5-10 mins as promised He knew exactly what to do, was pleasant, professional, and efficient. We were good to go within 10 mins. Price was very reasonable compared to other company... he did ask for cc on phone but was very transparent that once the truck was dispatched the tow fee would apply. It makes business sense. He did not run my card until after I was out and provide an email invoice and text receipt We will be sure to let our friends who visit the beach know about a Ocean Shores towing.... I mean no one ever PLANS to get stuck...might as well have back up ready.

I have generally dealt with mechanics with dread due to all of the scoundrels and creeps in the world of cars. So, I was prepared for more of the usual. I was so incredibly surprised! Rick Scovel should be a mechanics shop teacher, he's so kind and knowledgeable. Second generation at the shop he knew exactly what to do. He was dispatching his towing fleet until midnight then up and at the shop at 7am. He worked on my van and several other cars while teaching a young man and dispatching his towing business. I called for emergency roadside assistance at 5:52pm. I had a blowout flat and needed to get to…read moretire shop by 7pm. Woman took my info and said that she was going to request an ASAP assist. At 6:42pm, I called for an ETA. Another woman told me that they just needed to release the driver and he'd be there soon. Again, I waited. At 19:38, I called again. No ETA this time. I cancelled the request and called Subaru Roadside Assist (which I should have done in the first place). Not only did Subaru call me back within minutes, the tow truck guy calls me back to make sure I am safe, have water and gives me updates. They are towing me to the nearest Subaru dealer 75 miles away for FREE. YOU SUCK AAA! BTW MY AAA assist number was 11464 so you know this is a legitimate complaint. I won't be renewing.
