I had limited time on my lunch break so I placed an ordered ahead and got an egg and cheese sandwich on a roll with an iced coffee and my coworker ordered a big bird sandwich. The service was great! As soon I walked through the door they had my order ready to go and they were ready to ring me up! There was a line to place an order so I'm glad I called ahead. Def recommend calling in if you're in a rush! My coworker and I were so hungry so no pictures of the sandwiches but just know they were good! Clean place with nice staff. First, I'd like to give proper recognition by thanking my yelp friend Wanda for discovering LONG ISLAND BAGEL CAFE (LIBC). Walking towards, I was attracted by the neon green signs in the windows. Coming inside, looking to the right is the sectioned off dining area and to the left is the food station. The appearance is what you would find inside of any other place that sells bagels, also come as you are; dressed up or casual. They have salads, breakfast, lunch, and you may be able to scrape up dinner. Coffee is on board here as well as normal beverages. The coherent staff works with shared goals in mind aiming to furnish and deliver quality service. Unlike other places were I have observed one on one service. These guys will double team you in a heart beat, optimizing and providing exceptional customer service. I ordered the pistachio muffin, I'm weak for that. Lol! I also had a toasted poppy seed bagel with scallion. The bagels are a decent size to average. Hey, it's not Super Bagel.... The bagel was very fresh as well as the cream cheese. I had a French vanilla coffee. I didn't find the coffee's temperature to my liking but it was hot. Not hot hot! Lol. I took my meal to go but the dining room was available with only two customers dining in at the moment. Very neat and tidy. There was also customer interaction at the coffee station with a nice husband and wife couple who were helpful directing me to the regular French vanilla instead of the decaf French vanilla. Today was a stressful visit because, I left my credit cards home and no cash on hand. I panicked. I already sipped on the coffee. I guess I could have left the store with out taking the prepared food- but who does that? I thought it through, under intense pressure not knowing the next move. OKAY, I went through my phone and access the wallet feature to pay through mobile payment, SUCCESS! Thank goodness for this feature, I would have been up the creek, without a paddle, yet not relieved until the payment was approved. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was quick and helpful. Choices were astonishing. There was so much to choose from... difficult to just snag one item. Black and white cookies were enormous. Bagel sandwiches were wildly satisfying. Coffee was good enough, not great but not too shabby. read more

Heard this place recently opened & have been wanting to check it out. Saw on Instagram that some of their locations had red heart shaped bagels for Valentine's Day. Upon arriving, I could see they did not have those. However they did have red tie dye bagels for the day. One of the men working there offered each kid that was in the store a Valentines Bagel for free which I thought was nice. I got my bagel simple, with butter and enjoyed it! My husband had a BEC on a roll & he liked that as well. The prices aren't bad. For recently opening, it was pretty packed which to me is a good sign that their food is good. We were so excited when Long Island Bagel Cafe opened, so my granddaughter and I woke up early to be among the first to check out the new spot. The cafe was spotless and very clean (of course, it's new!), and everything felt well organized. The staff size was just right, and everyone was professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. Service was smooth and efficient, even early in the day. We all had bagels, of course and they were fresh and delicious, exactly what you hope for from a great bagel shop. A special shout-out to the gentleman who assisted us it was his birthday today! Happy Birthday! That positive energy really set the tone for our visit. We're happy to have Long Island Bagel Cafe in the neighborhood and look forward to coming back again soon. read more

Alright going to be real I went in not expecting to be blown away. The place is new, the staff is friendly and the ambiance is your typical sit down bagel shop on Long Island. Now the star, I mean seriously they just changed the game for egg sandwiches in New York and the region. Their special Cacio e Pepe Egg sandwich with choice of Pepperoni or Salami is absolutely heaven and worth every bite and penny $7.25. I was skeptical a Cacio e Pepe cream cheese get the F outta here but these little guys pulled it off. Takes some big you know what's to offer something like this in an Italian neighborhood and well they won't be sleeping with the fishes. Instead call out sick, call in late but run to Franklin Square and flood these guys doors. They offer a bunch of stuff and drinks but this egg sandwich changes lives. It makes the Bacon Egg and Cheese cry uncle!!! Go get one today before you miss out on the best egg sandwich in the United States. read more

I stopped in to check it out on my way home and what a beautiful set up. They are open from 5 AM to 5 PM and I got myself a black and white cookie that's bigger than my head that was so delicious. Like Seinfeld said " look to the cookie" the salads looked great definitely will be coming back for barbecues to get salads to go with my hamburger and hotdog dinners over the summer everything looked fresh. Five stars--hands down. I stopped by Long Island Bagel Cafe in Franklin Square today, grabbed a wrap, paid cash, and sat down to eat. Halfway through, one of the girls behind the counter walks over, holds up a hundred-dollar bill, and goes, "Did you drop this?" Turns out--I did. She'd spotted it on the floor, a customer handed it in, and the manager even came over to make sure it got back to me. No hesitation, no questions--just straight-up honesty. I've got a few hundreds in my wallet, so yeah, it could've vanished easy. But these folks? They didn't blink. New spot, only open a couple months, and already running on this kind of moral compass? That's rare. Food's killer too--wrap was fresh, bagels look insane, coffee's strong. Atmosphere's chill, staff's warm. But honestly? It's the people. Guess I am just not rich enough. The place is very clean and the idea of several tables to the side allures folks to hang around and nosh. The display of spreads, salads, and, to a lesser extent, sweets, is eye-catching. I was very impressed by the young woman who happened to serve me on the two occasions I visited. I asked for .60 ounces of cranberry chicken salad, and she called out to me at the scale, "It's .61--is that OK?" The next time I asked for .44 ounces of Taco chicken salad, and she was right on the money. Wait...did I write "money?" This place is like a Starbuck's for ring-shaped bread ...hopelessly and excessively priced, and proud of it. Back to the chicken. I sampled a forkful of Thai Chicken salad and it, like the .60 of Cranberry, were both shredded. The one I bought two days later, the Taco, was diced chicken. For the insane cost of half a bloody pound of fowl, the absolutely least that this joint should do is prep ONLY diced-cubed bird. The taste of both salads? Cranberry--so-so; taco--better, but again it is how el pollo is sliced, diced...or jerked. Cannot and won't comment on anything else there, not only because I haven't tried anything else there but more importantly, it will be weeks if not months before I return to try anything else there. Once this place opened I tried it the staff were nice but the bagel was not authentic rock hard it sucked the hash browns were ok then next time I went still nice staff hard bagel not authentic hash browns weren't cooked properly definitely don't recommend this place if you want good bagels go to My three sons or bagel doctor west definitely don't come here read more

Service was awesome! They were friendly and attentive. Place was very clean and staff was very good safe using gloves and not cross contaminating even the veggie and regular bagel options. The bagels were delicious and the big bird chicken cutlet sandwich was so Italian Long Island. I loved my experience here and will be back! read more
