He completed the evaluation in less than 2 minutes stating everything was ok (which changed after purchase) without providing any inspection points/report or a Receipt for 80 dollars. I purchased the bike and went to him for inspection, and he was very rude and arrogant and using language that was inappropriate for adults. He actually told me to "Come back in 2 hours, and don't follow him". All I wanted was an inspection for the DMV and he seemed frustrated and angry and lacked proper etiquette & professionalism in dealing with customers at 10A in the morning. I immediately took my bike and went instead to Nations Cycle Center on Franklin St, which was nearby. They accommodated me with respect and professionalism, completed the inspection in less than an hour and were very professional. I wonder why people tolerate such nonsense from an angry old man like JJ who thinks he is doing a favor and trying to help you. I even called JJ on the phone to admonish him and his response was "why even bother calling me and even said he tried to help me" I would never recommend this business, in fact stay away or face regrets. No one deserves to be treated with contempt when you are a paying customer. He could have stated that he is busy and needs 15-20 minutes to finish up a job before he can deal with you. I can only imagine how he would treat you if you had any complaints or grievances post service. I am glad i left his store when i did, looking back at the reviews and some fake/paid 5 star dishonest ratings of this business. He doesn't deserve even a single star. Acts like a mafia boss, I am surprised he is still in business. Avoid at all costs.

At this point I did not want to deal with them anymore and made other arrangements to pick up the same exact model slingshot in Pennsylvania, while I was en route and 6 hours away Mineola Moto calls me to inform me that the slingshot was mine (the other customer never showed up) what a circus show ! The employee I spoke with was rude and appeared to be carrying on a separate conversation while I was speaking, causing me to repeat myself multiple times. I then asked if there were any appointments available that day. I was told no and that I would need to schedule an appointment. When I asked who I needed to schedule the appointment with, the employee replied, "With me." I then asked what the earliest available appointment was and was told Wednesday. When I stated that I was hoping for something sooner but would take Wednesday if necessary, the employee suddenly said, "Oh wait, wait, we have a Tuesday slot available." The interaction felt unprofessional, dismissive, and unhelpful. I would expect better customer service, especially when calling with questions about a warranty and scheduling service. This issue occurred on the very first ride home due to a problem that was confirmed to be either a factory defect or a dealership assembly issue. I did everything right as a customer, yet I've been left making loan and insurance payments on a motorcycle I haven't been able to enjoy. At this point, I've completely lost confidence in both this dealership and the motorcycle. I no longer want this bike and would rather work with a different Yamaha dealership. Vanessa was always understanding, George is clearly knowledgeable, and even though turnaround times could be slow because of limited staff, the quality of the work itself was usually good. Over the years I continued bringing them my bikes because they're close to me and I trusted their mechanical work. I upgraded to an 03 VTX 1800 and had them do multiple jobs on it. Some of the pricing was extremely high -- close to a grand for heated grips installation and a very expensive exhaust install that only needed minor fabrication -- but I accepted it because I believed I was paying for quality work. That being said, electrical work definitely does not seem to be their strong point. I brought them a simple USB charger that I personally tested beforehand and somehow they still couldn't get it working properly. They also tend to wire accessories directly to the battery, which can easily lead to battery drain issues later on. Still, I stayed loyal. I understand motorcycle ownership isn't cheap, and I never expected bargain pricing. What finally pushed me to leave this review was how I was treated recently with a smaller vintage Honda CM450 I acquired. I explained to Vanessa and George that I really wanted to restore the bike and just needed help cleaning the carbs and getting it running right. At first they hesitated, then eventually agreed and told me to bring it the following week. I arranged a tow truck, called ahead like they asked, and suddenly it became "we're too busy, come back in two weeks." I waited again, arranged another tow, came back, and then was basically told they didn't want the job at all. That honestly rubbed me the wrong way. They know I'm a young rider working full time while going to school full time. I'm not someone throwing Harley money around -- I'm just a kid who genuinely enjoys motorcycles and wanted to keep an old bike alive. The impression I got is that if the job isn't highly profitable, they don't really want to deal with you, especially during busy season when bigger-ticket customers are coming in. I would've gladly given this shop 4 stars based on my past experiences, but after this situation I can't recommend them the same way anymore.

My salesperson was professional, respectful, and very helpful throughout the process. Unfortunately, my experience with the dealership's management was extremely disappointing. I arrived at the time I had previously informed them (5:45 pm), but the manager became angry, raised his voice at me, and canceled all of my paperwork because he wanted to leave for dinner with his family. As a customer, I felt disrespected and embarrassed. This was supposed to be one of the happiest and most exciting days of my life, purchasing my first motorcycle. Instead, it became one of the worst experiences I've ever had as a customer. Because of this, I decided not to continue with the purchase. I do not recommend this dealership based on how management treated me. Customers deserve respect, especially when making such an important and emotional purchase. The only positive part of my experience was my salesperson, who handled himself professionally and tried to help me despite the situation.

My experience with salesman Tony was extremely disappointing. During the sales process, I was told that several items--including the GPS, warranty, service, and alarm--were included in the deal. I relied on those representations when agreeing to the purchase. After the deal was completed, I discovered that $1,850 in additional charges for those items had been added to my loan. That is not a minor misunderstanding. That is a significant amount of money, and it completely changed the financial terms of the deal I believed I had agreed to. I immediately challenged the charges and demanded that the situation be corrected. To their credit, the finance manager ultimately reimbursed me the full $1,850 in cash, and I have a text confirmation documenting that reimbursement. But here's the problem: I should never have had to fight to get that money back in the first place. A motorcycle dealership should operate on transparency and trust. If a salesperson tells a customer something is included in the purchase price, the customer should be able to rely on that statement--not discover after the paperwork is signed that thousands of dollars have been added to the financing. The fact that I ultimately received my $1,850 back does not erase the experience or the complete lack of confidence it created in the transaction. My advice: get EVERY promise in writing, scrutinize every line of the purchase agreement and financing documents, and do not assume that anything a salesperson tells you is actually included unless you can see it in writing. I walked into Bellmore Harley-Davidson expecting to buy a motorcycle and trust the people selling it to me. I walked away feeling like I had to fight to make sure I wasn't charged for things I was told were already included. Tony and Bellmore Harley-Davidson: this is not how you earn a customer's trust--or their repeat business. Five stars? Absolutely not. My experience: 1/5.
