    I hate to leave reviews, especially a negative one. However, be warned! I hope to save someone else…read morethe time, money and aggravation of dealing with this shop. These guys are completely inept, unprosseional and dirty. I was hooked up with this shop via my local mechanic and brought in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler needing a clutch replacement. After receiving the Jeep back, the clutch was installed improperly and was making noise (I was informed by the owners son that he admittedly did not install the correct size clutch for my Jeep). I told him the clutch was making a noise. After leaving the jeep for two weeks, they said everything seemed fine. However, upon driving my Jeep, It was still making the horrible noise when clutching in and out. They failed to diagnose the problem, even after they "test drove" my jeep and transported rusty materials that stained my back seats (which they failed to own up to) pics included. On a Tuesday the following week, I brought the jeep back to the shop. They finally admitted to hearing the noise. I was told to come back 6 days later and they would replace the improperly installed clutch first thing Monday morning with a new and Correctly fitted clutch. Monday morning when the shop first opened they told me that they were waiting on the clutch to be delivered that day since they didn't order it until Saturday! They said to wait and they would get it soon, and change it Quickly. After waiting 6 hours in the filthy waiting room, they finally got the part! The technician began to install the new clutch. Then, With only twenty minutes of work remaining, I was almost free! Until the shop owners father showed up... he asked me to leave the waiting area where I was sitting for 6 and a half hours because they were going to eat lunch and I needed wait outside. So again the work was halted. I said to the technician that it was ridiculous and unprofessional to ask me to literally stand underneath my disassembled jeep and wait for another 45 minutes, when I was already there for almost 7 hours. They scoffed at me under their breath and left me standing there in disbelief. Once the work was finished, the mechanic gave me an attitude, wouldn't accept a tip (which I shouldn't have offered after that treatment). And guess what! The clutch is still making a strange noise from the throw out bearing and isn't installed correctly! They won't answer the phone. At this point, I'm not going, I'll eat the 1400 bux and go to a better place. BEWARE!!

Due to my fast paced work schedule,there's been times where I needed an inspection 5 minutes before closing and Lenny has taken it or told me to come in the morning. From oil changes to sensors to exhaust work,they do a great job for fair prices.These mechanics have no time to lie to you or take you for your money.They want the job done right,or they won't do it at all. There's been times where in the process of working on my car,they've found something that could've caused a major accident.Instead of them not telling me,Lenny would call me and always explain the situation in laymen terms so I wasn't confused or surprised by the price if he did fix the problem. When my truck wouldn't pass inspection, they did a diagnosis and told me it was because it was a high mileage engine and worn down internally.I went to another shop for a second opinion, and the other shop charged me $250 to tell me the same thing Lenny told me for $50 dollars! Also there's been times where I didn't pass inspection and they didn't charge me just because they knew my car needed to complete a drive cycle.I personally like to buy the part then pay them for the labor,but I've learned the hard way to just let them buy the parts because they never get it wrong.And they even give a year warranty on their work. These guys are fair and are my go-to auto shop.Take it from me,there's a lot of lazy thieves in the mechanic industry,but this place restored my faith in auto repair.

That happened to me. Again, I was in the same neighborhood and same thing happened with my car but different part this time. I called Tikal on a Sunday thinking that it was open but it wasn't. The owner answered the phone call & said auto repair shops in Inwood are all closed on Suns cuz of auto parts shops are also close. So no parts coming in means no parts getting repair. I was devastated since I wasn't from the neighborhood. I was from Queens. Very far from where I am. The owner was super accommodating in coming to the shop on a Sun when its close just to get my car into the shop. He told me he'll take care of the parts & let me know what's wrong with it & the pricing. Monday came around, true to his words, he'd let me know over the phone that it was the same as my suspicion predicted, it was my brake pads that flew off. Told me the pricing and had it fixed after I agreed to it. Got it done within the same day & I was able to pick it up around noon after being notified like about 3.5 hrs before. I was super happy with the work & the results. The service was superb and the shop owner & his son was extremely helpful and not hostile like some of the shops that I'd went to. A helpful tip .... BRING CASH! They charged u taxes if u use ur card.

He's lying, saying that he didn't do anything. The store manager raises his voice, gets physical, gives attitude, and he didn't do the services I asked for. I waited 2 and a half hours, I have all the proof, and I called the police, the police said I should take this case to the court. So please find out who this store manager is, his name is, Enrique Santiago. And give me information on him, the owner should know the issues this manager has caused, his service is bad. When we first asked for a price, we were told $635, but when it was time to pay, they made us wait until the tire change was done and suddenly increased the price to $700. When we questioned it, he even threatened to keep the car if we didn't pay! To make matters worse, the manager said he would remove the "Buy 3, Get 1 Free" promotion (which he claimed his boss or someone above him said was for all cars) and charge us over $800 instead. When I asked about their online price-match guarantee, he started screaming his throat out, saying he didn't have to do it but was doing me a "favor" even though his company clearly promises price matching! What a joke! Please train that disgusting man or hire someone who actually knows the company's policies! Never going back and definitely not recommending this place to anyone!

I was skeptical at first because this service station is a lot smaller than the other in the area, but my initial service advisor Eddie was up to the task and provided great service and follow up throughout. When I got my car back, it was running very smoothly and they fixed the problem that the other dealership couldn't - a cracked cylinder head. Unfortunately, they caused another problem. After I returned about a week later, technician Joe and manager Jerome told me that the burning oil I smelled was residual and would go away on its own in a couple of weeks. After a few weeks, I called Jerome and he agreed that oil residue shouldn't take 3 weeks to burn off. I made an appointment to drop my vehicle off so it could be re-inspected. This time, I had Andrew as a service advisor. He's nice, but seemed overwhelmed and distracted. I filled him in on all that's happened and mentioned that Jerome should be kept in the loop. After another look, it seems someone forgot to tighten TWO bolts on the engine, causing oil to leak. When they tried to fix it, the bolts broke. They had to order parts, requiring them to keep my vehicle again. This time, they had little choice but to put me into a loaner vehicle. Since they had my vehicle for so long, I asked them to repair a Mopar aftermarket exhaust on my car. The tech told me I need to go to a "muffler place." Please be advised - if you have Mopar parts on a Mopar vehicle, a Mopar-certified technician and certified dealer should be able to take care of it! When I finally was ready to leave, I had to deal with passive aggressive comments from Marcela the cashier, who was annoyed at the amount of phone calls she received from the premium care team on my behalf. I had hoped to connect with Jerome again regarding some sort of compensation for all of this, but I guess he never got the message I left him to call me back. Two stars instead of one on the strength of Eddie alone.

When I decided I would get a second opinion, he All of sudden said I owed $375 diagnostic fee ( a fee which he had never before mentioned) i chose to get my car towed off their lot to a different mechanic because I just can't give my money to people who are clearly concerned with just making a dollar at the expense of the consumer . It's disgusting. He was rude and after requesting to speak to management, he all of sudden changed his story. Their management has changed too frequently in the past three years. I hope they never earn anyone's business because they are not worthy! At all!!!!!
