She started off with taking drink orders. When she got to us, we asked what kind of bourbon they had. She didn't know, but went to the bar to find out. When she returned, we asked for Old Fashions. She then asked us how to make them, and stated that the bartender wasn't positive on how to do it, but had offered her skills at Manhattans instead. So that's what we got. They were good. I knew from a visit here years ago that the portions were big enough to split, so my husband, cousin, and I all split a couple of entrees - homemade lasagna and Chicken Alfredo. The lasagna was very good, had a ton of meat in it, and the red sauce was good and not too sweet. The Chicken Alfredo was decent, but definitely not our favorite between the two. It needed more seasoning, specifically ground pepper and a tad more salt. Once we doctored it up at the table it wasn't bad, but again not our favorite. For dessert we all got complimentary cake. Sometimes small place can be a surprise. It's not always about the food, but the quality of service given and the company that is around you. Those things are why we give this a solid 4 stars.
