10 ounce sirloin , perfectly cooked, with a added on crab cake

Steak cooked perfectly, vegetables and garlic, mashed potatoes, delicious, fear list on draft was decent, good selection of higher end, whiskeys and tequila, and service is great!

Mixed...that sums it up. Having lived in the area about 36 years before moving away, we were very familiar with Kelly's steakhouse. After looking at some local reviews, J decided that our 43rd wedding anniversary dinner would be a destination celebration at Kelly's. We were greeted warmly by an attractive hostess and seated near the kitchen's swinging doors. Our server was pleasantly business like in her demeanor. We had perused the cocktail menu before she arrived. I didn't find anything that interested me, and my wife couldn't decide between the porch punch and the gin and tonic with blueberry liquor. She ordered the punch and asked the server if the bar could make me an old fashioned. "Yes to that! As things turned out, the porch punch was a miss--a tasteless concoction akin to unsweetened ice tea. But my old-fashioned was off the charts. Probably the best one I have ever had. A strong highball with lots of great flavor! We both ordered a salad...a chop, chop, and a blue cheese. While our salads were tasty, they were fairly average. As I recall, mine had garbanzo beans, lettuce, some strips of salami and what I think was turkey lunchmeat. For our entrées, we both ordered the filet mignon. My wife got the 7 oz. and I got the 10. My wife ordered medium well and I ordered med. When we cut into our steaks, it was obvious there. There was some mixup. Mine was well done, and her's was medium. I definitely had to send mine back to the kitchen. After about 10 minutes or so my new steak arrived, but it was more rare than medium. I don't mind don't rare; I'm not picky but the kitchen sure had a tough time delivering on the steaks! The steaks are served with mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley of broccoli, peppers, etc. All in all a good value. We split a tiramisu for dessert. It was delicious. The service was good. Our server was very professional and did her best to keep us satisfied . The ambience is pleasant. Kelly's is probably the best steakhouse in the area, but our anniversary steak dinner was certainly a mixed bag.

Delicious, well priced filets. Mashed potatoes, vegetables and filet were amazing. Thai calamari portion size for an appetizer was a bit ridiculous. Good house cabernet. Polite staff. Would come back again and recommend to anyone wanting a good steak.

Sesame seed tuna dish absolutely delicious. What a great chef !!

Another great meal at Kellys had the tuna dinner so delicious a well balanced, delicious dish . A friend, and I sat at the bar & bartender was professional, courteous, and attentive. Thank you !!

Enjoyed the Food, service and the entire dining experience. Considering it is a "Steakhouse" , I thought the prices were reasonable.

Also the worst meal and dinner experience I've had in 20 years. Much of what we tried to order was out of stock, some of those items that were in stock omitted ingredients discovered upon consumption (e.g.,, the case of the missing basil in the $18 caprese salad), and what we did get tasted like the lower end of airline food. We were stuck in a kind of covered porch to eat, rather than the actual picturesque old tavern rooms. A sort of long closet with windows. I will not tell you the tale of the 20 minute mystery of the unopened wine bottle. You wouldn't believe me anyway. It is a beer and whisky kind of place. I traveled 45 minutes to experience this historic tavern restaurant. I do not regret it. I embrace it. Trials build character. My wife and I will reminisce fondly on the awfulness of this experience for decades. I just wish I hadn't spent $225 for the privilege. If I had invested this in the stock market, I would have roughly $870 in current purchasing power in about 20 years. This could have been part of my childrens' inheritance. Lift a tankard of ale in the bar and look at the knick-knacks on the walls. Observe the fireplace, read the tavern's architectural history on the menu. Do not eat. Go without. Fasting is good for you. Think of the children.

We shared three dishes - beef stew, drunken noodles with tofu and beef ribs. They were all really good. The ribs were meaty, slightly sweet and fell off the bone. Served with a sunny side up egg, spinach and rice. There was an egg with the stew as well and it made the dish feel silky. The beef seemed slow cooked and the basmati rice went well. The tiramisu was solid, light and airy and very pretty plating. Service was a little apathetic, but the food was good enough to offset. Reasonable prices too. Would definitely go back if we lived here.

I do not know if there is a menu item in this restaurant that's bad. The seafood explosion is delicious and so is the popcorn chicken. We've had the cheesecake, the truffle bomb, and the lava cake, once again, all amazing.

The staff is SO incredibly welcoming and friendly, and always points us towards great dishes (shoutout to Kip, whenever he's my server I always just order whatever he recommends!). So far some of my favorites have been the espresso-crusted venison (winter 2025-26) and the ramp risotto (spring 2026). It's rare to find a place with so much passion for local ingredients and showcasing the season. This is the obvious spot for a celebration or to impress your out-of-town guests. The place is also gorgeous. It's cozy without being dark. The staff always welcomes you and checks in frequently. I also want to give a shoutout to the cocktails. Everything here is very well crafted and there's great variety. I also love the wines. The list is extensive, but you can't go wrong choosing a bottle from the seasonal highlights on the menu. Even if you don't have time for dinner, it's worth stopping at the bar just for a drink!
