I was willing to show Bill my ID, of course, but told him my brother doesn't have an ID. Bill refused to sell me the wine because he felt we were acting suspicious. What 13 year old drinks Chardonnay? I went to customer service to speak to the store leader and Bill followed me there. He refused to let me see the store leader and embarrassed me in front of customers and cashiers. Bill was condescending and rude. Needless to say, I won't be shopping at Martin's again. Muffins here aren't bad though.

I have never had an issue with the quality of produce, meat, dairy, frozen foods... matter of fact, their meats are awesome. The employees are very friendly but as most of you do, they make mistakes too. My last order for pickup was missing items & 3 days later I realized it. Called them & they filled the order for the missing items free. Now is that good service for a human mistake, yes it is & I'll continue to support local.

I waited a bit for the place to open, and was getting ready to leave when a woman parked in front of me and got out of her car asking if I was looking for seafood. "Yup"- so I followed Rae, the owner, into the shop. I was really looking for jumbos but I know the drill-they are hard to get. Rae was out of jumbos but managed to get a bag #1 males together for me. The "cherry on top" was one Jumbo male. Got home, and immediately fired up the steamer. Dumped them in (all alive and kicking!!) and then started to eat. (The jumbo was dessert). After having eaten 6-7 crabs. I was full. Started putting them away and there were 10 left! So while Rae didn't have the size crab I wanted, she did me a solid and threw a bunch more crabs in. Everything you read about her in the reviews is true. She has a personality bigger than life and is a good soul. Thanks Rae. Hope you see this.

A few days later hubby picked up a dozen large steamed crabs. They were wonderful. I was in Baltimore a couple months ago and Trouts prices were actually cheaper, as far as MD blue crabs.
