Since I don't have a convenient LJS near me, so when I see what I have to get some. The guys behind the counter were super cool. I ordered the L10 platter Fish and Shrimp platter with an a la carte piece of chicken. I sat down in my boat booth and the food is as I remember. The fish and chicken was crunchy and hot. As I poured the malt vinegar all over the fish. The shrimp was super crunchy as well. I missed the old straight cut fries, the waffle fries were just okay. The hush puppies are still one of my favorites. Also I had a lot of crunchy crumbs which I loved. They share a location with A&W. I love the classic look of the LJS. Chicken is way small. I got a chicken basket with a side of cheese curds and hush puppies with cheese curds and it was 23$. Never again gong back there. The service was okay except for the employees talking. Ambiance was mid. read more

I ordered online and asked for extra crumbs only ones I received were with clams and they were to fill box because I only got 7 pcs of clams. Fish and chicken were good but super greasy. Corn cold. Rice and coleslaw individual sizes are literally 1TBSP worth. The high puppies were large and good though. They were only part that was good and they shorted me 2 in my order. Go figure! The service was EXTREMELY SLOW! Standing at cou ter for service and had 2 employee walk right past me without saying a word. Asked for manager and woman who was cooking food walked over finally. That was after waiting for 10 minutes to be asked for my order in drive thru. Finally went inside and that experience wasn't any better. Hope they can improve. read more

The chicken and fish are both very tasty. The service is slow because they prepare each meal. The ambiance has been the same for decades. Always check your order and make sure that you ask for condiments. I eat there about once a month. read more

Please check the orders before delivery to customer. I have had at least one item missing or the wrong item out of my last 5 or 6 orders. With prices rising you will soon be out of business. read more

We went here for a late dinner ( about 8:15). Sign says that they are open until 9:00. We ordered, and it took about 10 minutes. That was not a problem for us, as we just sat down at a booth and filled the little cups with cocktail and tartar sauce, and talked. Then, when they said our order was ready, the young lady who had taken our order, (politely) said that the dining room was closed and we had to leave. It was not even 8:30! So, we drove the 20 minutes home to have cold fish and sides. Not a good experience. read more

Always liked LJS. However lol. Not good ! I asked the lady for extra crispies and she said " we are out of them" because we close soon. It was 700 and they close at 900 so obviously no one has been working. I casually mentioned that when you cook aren't they automatic because of the remnants of the batter. No response . I loved the seafood here. Why? Because I rarely had it this way in my family. They always braised it, steamed it or stir-fried it. Or drowned it in some sauce. My sister and I have been craving Long John Silver's for a month now. So we decided to stop here for lunch. I had the super sampler and my sister had one of the other platters. The employees were not super friendly but they took our order accurately and our meal was served to us in a timely manner. The super sampler had a piece of fish, a piece of chicken, two types of shrimp. The coleslaw was fresh and tasty and since I LOVE the hushpuppies, I ordered 6 extra. Our lunch today satisfied our Long John Silver's craving and we will be back sometime in the next month to enjoy more. This location also has A&W Root Beer, so I might have to order something off their menu next time. read more

I have tons of childhood memories of Long John Silver's. I loved the hush puppies and the little 'crisps' that come in the bottom of ordered meals. I still have the urge to go to Long John Silver's, but after my last visit to this location (which is near where I live) I will not go back until they remodel it. The interior was dark and dirty. I didn't want to touch anything. We had gone inside because for whatever reason the drive-thru was glitching up and they didn't know we were there. When we got inside the wait was too long for us being the only ones there. (It was during the wait that I looked around and became concerned about the cleanliness.) They managed to give us our food before we changed our mind and left, but it wasn't so good that I'd willingly go through that again. Maybe if someone twisted my arm I'd try it again, but right now I'm more likely to hit a LJS in any other town but this one. read more

Drive through is always slow. I am used to that, but I went there for the last time a few days ago after getting hassled for not telling them before I ordered that I had a coupon. Not only did I wait for a long time, but I got an ear full from the lady who didn't hear me say I had a coupon and then proceeded to sigh and shake her head as she punched the coupon into the register. No thank you, nothing. I don't mind mistakes but there is no excuse for letting people like this represent your business. read more

They falsely advertise a 99 cent ice cream cone but for the last 10 days they do not have any cones. The owner or manager is completely incompetent to run a business. It should be able to restock cones in less than a day. It is obvious they do not care about their customers. read more
