I'm back! Like I said before I have this cake at least once every year. Nothing can compare or beat their glorious fruit cake. I came on a Saturday afternoon and it was so busy. People were buying cakes, ordering cakes, and looking at flowers. Great news I finally learned that they take card as I saw a customer in front of me use card to pay. Oh well I'll still bring cash it's faster. The workers are great, nice, and fast they speak Viet but also speak English so don't be afraid. Love that the prices are consistent and don't go up too much. Cake always tastes great no notes it's always consistent and a hit at the party people love to eat it it's huge and people take to go too. Children are fans, adults are fans, everyone loves it! Highly recommend trying it if you're ever in the area and want to eat a 1/4 sheet fruit cake.

Excellent cake! It was a hit for my mom's birthday. It was nice to have something light and not too sweet. They do not accept pre orders on 1/4 sheet cakes. I came by around 2pm on a Saturday. The parking lot is always busy so grab a spot when you see it. They can put a message on the cake quickly. I paid cash. No idea if they accept credit cards. The vibe is efficient. They also have beautiful orchids at a reasonable price.

We love going here for all our special occasions because they make the best cake. They never skimp on the fruits and the pastry/sponge cake combo is the best! Service is quick and easy, you can pre order or just come that day and they usually have cakes available. Parking is a bit hectic on the weekends but I never have trouble finding a spot.

Long Phung Bakery has been my go-to bakery for about 20 years. They have the best and freshest FRUIT CAKES/TARTS Their cake is a layered sponge cake with a layer of puff pastry in the middle, with a Bavarian cream filling, topped with fresh seasonal fruit and whipped cream surrounding the outside. Not too sweet and absolutely delicious! Kelly is very nice and the customer service is good. They have been accepting credit cards for about two years now so no need to bring cash. They also sell beautiful orchids and flowers at reasonable prices. Around the mid-Autumn festival in August, you will also see a selection of moon cakes for sale. They also have regular cakes with vanilla, mocha, chocolate, durian (Sau Rieng or SR), or ice cream. I have tried the mocha and chocolate filled cake, but I prefer the fruit cakes. They are huge and can serve a lot of people. Happy eating!

**December 2025: Sunday Afternoon Visit** My dad asked me to purchase a cake for my mom's milestone birthday and since most of the guests were boomer age I figured it was best to get a cake that was Asian approved. I called Long Phung Bakery to inquire about ordering and pricing a couple days before, and thankfully they were able to accomodate my request. I order a 1/4 sheet fruit cake in the past, but honestly could not remember anything about the ordering process. The woman who picked up the phone spoke Vietnamese and English, and informed me that they accepted cash and credit card. They regularly have 1/4 size fruitcakes, but advise to call ahead if you have 1/2 sheet or larger. I was advised to get a 1/2 sheet fruit cake ($80) for my party of 20. Honestly, I think the 1/2 sheet probably feeds more like 50 people or I guess 20 individual who skip the main course and have jumbo sweet tooth. A 1/4 sheet would have been more than enough. Taste wise there was a lot of fruit and for a cake that size I think it was really affordable. They will hand pipe the message on the white strip in the middle of the cake when you pickup. They also sell orchids, which I think in the future I'll plan to purchase for gifts. Small $12 Larger $15-$20 Arrangements $110+ Parking can be hit or miss. This spot is located in a busy part of Westminster and the drivers can be very aggressive. Summary: Overall, I think it's a great place to celebrate any milestone!

I gave this place a try after hearing great reviews about their fruit cakes! I called a few days before my designated date for pickup and called the number on Google however the lady on the phone said that it was wrong number! Beware of that, and I looked on their yelp and did noticed a different number provided which I then called and was able to place an order for a 1/2 sheet cake. It was an easy and nice experience, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I'd definitely come back again if I ever have another event to host in the nearby area. I enjoyed the assorted fresh fruits with the layers of puff pastry and custard inside.

Ordered a cake for my son's first birthday party. I called and placed an order over the phone. I was unsure of the size to get so I asked how many people the half sheet cake feeds and was told it was 20-30 people. For the 3/4 sheet I was told 40-50 people. I figure 3/4 sheet cake would be good enough because in had 50+ guests. I give them my name and number so I can pickup the next day. Tell me why when I go to pickup the cake it is humongous and weighs a ton?! It's huuuuuge and really long. So long it does not fit into my fridge unfortunately. We had to leave it sitting out for a bit to enjoy it but it was still good!! The cake was a hit with my guests and they loved it! So the lesson learned is order the half cake sheet next time. Still highly recommend this place.

Thank you for beautiful and delicious cakes for all of my parties. The fruits are fresh and they have vibrant colors. The staff are very sweet and they always add emojis on the cake. See you at our next events!

Love their fruit cakes here! I love that it's not just the puff pastry but there's a layer of actual cake! Def give them a try!

Wow, this is one of the best fruit cake bakeries in SoCal. The small cake is $45 and it's just loaded, absolutely loaded with fruit. We had fruit spilling all over the place when we were cutting the cake. We celebrate holidays a bit out of order.... For instance we just celebrated Mother's Day on Memorial Day, but regardless of what we are celebrating, if we need a cake, we usually go here. In addition to the bountiful amount of strawberries, peaches, kiwi, mango, cherries and whatever other fruit is in season, the cake comes with a crispy puff pastry layer, a good amount of cake layer, and ample whip cream and pastry cream to tie it all together. A crowd pleaser. The store is also a flower shop! Casual. Parking can be difficult. Please come and create your own adventure.

The best damn cake I ever had. I waited so long for my birthday to come around so my girlfriend could get me this. They also take walk-ins and apparently make these cakes all throughout the day. Parking sucks also btw.

    Delicious fruit cake!

I promised the very nice lady that sold me my fruit cake tonight that I'd leave her a review so here it is! I will say that this place has a great fruit cake with a crispy delicious middle layer along with a vanilla fluffy layer. Its the delicious fruit cake that one would get at that other place inside a little strip mall in santa ana. Do I like this one better, you bet!!! Pro tip: Their storefront looks like a flower shop between the corner bakery and grocery store. Great job cake lady!

Came by this bakery to pick up a 1/4th sheet cake with fruit. We have purchased cakes from here several times before and they are not overly sweet and delicious!! Service is usually quick.

    Definitely pre-order the durian cake.

Are you open on Easter Sunday 4/9? If not, if I buy a cake the day before, will it still be good/fresh the next day?

I don't know for sure if there open. But you can always call and verify if there open that day. Im sure the cake will still be just as delicious the next day

How many people does 1/4 sheet cake serve?

Yes they do take credit card

What's the name of the cake with the cracker in the middle? The one with fruit?

It is called a fruit tart. The cracker is actually puff pastry. Hope it helps.

An extra cover means another layer of the cake.

I think I just rekindled a long-lost relationship with this bakery…read more The last time I visited was probably a few years ago, and while I remember liking it well enough, I wasn't exactly blown away by the vegetarian and vegan options at the time. Fast forward to recently, and their Instagram marketing team deserves a raise because they absolutely got me. Every other scroll seemed to feature some gorgeous vegan pastry or savory item, and before I knew it, I was planning a visit solely based on cravings induced by social media. The pistachio croissant, pâté chaud, and sticky rice had been living rent-free in my head for weeks. Let me just say: this place exceeded the hype. The pâté chaud was the star of the show. I ordered both the regular version and the "beef" version. The vegan beef filling was tasty, but there wasn't a whole lot of it. The regular pâté chaud, on the other hand, was generously filled with vegan pork and mushrooms and was absolutely phenomenal. Flavorful, savory, and wrapped in the flakiest, butteriest pastry imaginable. One bite and I was immediately transported back to childhood. Pâté chaud was one of those treats my dad would always bring home for me growing up, so finding a vegetarian version felt like discovering buried treasure. Not to be dramatic, but I would happily eat a concerning number of these in one sitting. The xôi gà (sticky rice with seasoned vegan chicken) was another knockout. In my excitement, I started eating it immediately instead of waiting to warm it up first. Rookie mistake. By the time I realized my error, I had already inhaled most of it. After heating up the remaining portion, I finally understood what I had deprived myself of. The warm version was next-level delicious. If the room-temperature version was an A, the heated version graduated summa cum laude. I have been thinking about it ever since and am currently fighting the urge to drive back for more as I write this review. The girl working at the counter was also incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Needless to say, I will not be waiting another few years before returning. In fact, if you see someone sprinting toward the pastry case for vegan pâté chaud and sticky rice, there's a decent chance it's me.

She may have known the other customers in the store at the time because I felt she was a lot more friendly towards them. Also a heads up, you have to spend at least $20 to be able to use a card, so bring cash! I tried their honeycomb cake (in a half moon shape, good for 3-4 servings) and their vegan pork pate chaud. Both of these items were good! They were also reasonably priced as I got both for ~$8-9. The honeycomb cake was slightly sweet and chewy. The vegan pastry was flaky despite being vegan! There was a good amount of filling, which consisted of the vegan pork and mushrooms. It was savory and had a good texture too. The only other thing I may ever come back for is their vegan fried chicken but the smallest amount you have to buy 1/2 lb which is $12
