We looked at a home in Green Valley listed by Rachel LeFlore of Long Realty; we had a buyers agent from another brokerage. We met the seller, who was quite elderly when we did the walk thru; expressed is desire to sell quickly and move cross country to family for health reasons. We put in a full price offer; LeFlore countered asking for us to pay closing fees, her commission, and for a home warranty. We agreed; she tthen countered raising the sale price! We refused, feeling she was just trying to raise her commission. A few hours later, our agent got a text message saying they would take our last offer and deliver a contract the next morning. When the contract wasn't sent by noon, our agent reached out to LeFlore. LeFlore responded saying other agents were showing the house that day and they wanted to wait for better offers! Needless to say, she is dishonest and unethical! We withdrew ouour offer and will keep looking. And we'll make sure that any home we make an offer on is NOT listed by her or Long Realty. read more

Long Realty is unethical. They list properties with wrong addresses. They list properties not for sale in by owner section of Zillow. As a property owner how would you like to have people driving by your house when it is not for sale. Plus as a buyer how do you like inquiring on a property only to find out it is not for sale. We reached out as we are moving from MN to AZ and had the worst experience with Lori who not only failed to listen to our basic parameters, but also tried to force us to give up our VA loan, to not do an inspection/appraisal and wanted us to overbid on homes and telling us that contingencies were not accepted. If you are someone looking to use a VA loan or are unwilling to pay half a million on a home, don't use this group. The lender for this company was just as rude. Lori didn't even have the professionalism to say she was unable/unwilling to work with us. She had her lender send the message for her to us in an email which was stated as a screw you to us, but she also reached out to our realtor here to tell her that our realtor would need to send us to another group as she was unwilling to work with us. Bought a house listed by Long Realty that turned out to have what is probably $10,000+ in plumbing issues wrong with it. These would have made the house unusable by the previous owners but they were totally undisclosed. They told me "Well, get a lawyer I guess." All realtors might be this way when it comes down to it--it seems like nobody involved in this process cares about anything beyond protecting themselves--but don't bother trying with these guys. At least some other realtor *could* theoretically be better. read more

My husband and I were from out of state, looking to relocate to Tucson. Ricardo was recommended to us, who scheduled an initial meeting within just a few days of my call to him. During this first meeting with Ricardo and his partner, Miro Tymosiak, they truly listened to our specifications and parameters for a single family house. They also had extensive knowledge about the neighborhood, including personal input on the public school districts and private school offerings. Ricardo and Miro (Team Coppel) subsequently went over the available MLS listings that fit our criteria, but they were also flexible enough to pivot to my list of homes that I'd prepared and desired to view in person. Ricardo immediately set up appointments to tour these homes, as many in one day as possible. While touring these homes, Ricardo and Miro were observant, attentive, and patient. What was more remarkable was that they simultaneously kept an eye out for other homes, including ones that were about to come on market, that fit our criteria and scheduled us to view those as well, so that we could adequately perform our due diligence and maximize our exposure to as many available and potentially fitting homes as possible in order to ensure that my husband and I would make the best and most educated choice.   We settled on a home to proceed on, and Ricardo and Miro were exceptional from start to finish. My husband and I have engaged with many realtors in several different states, but I cannot emphasize enough that we have never received the caliber of service that we received with Team Coppel. It was very refreshing and impressive. We have relatively high expectations and may come across as quite particular at times, but Team Coppel never disappointed us at any point during the purchase process. Highlights include discussing at length the market comparables within the last 6 months as well as our offer negotiation strategy; aggressively advocating on behalf of our interests against the seller's agent; explaining and scheduling a comprehensive slew of inspections for the house (general, plumbing, pest, mold/air quality, roof, pool, HVAC); and hammering out our repair requests to submit to the seller's agent.  They were immediately responsive by text, email, and phone. Furthermore, since my husband and I were staying at an Airbnb rental during this time and without a printer, Ricardo and Miro would print everything we needed in hard copy in addition to driving the documents to physically and personally deliver it to us - not just one time, but many times throughout the purchase process!  When our mortgage with a big bank hit a snag, where they could not deliver a rate that was initially promised, Miro referred us to their in-house mortgage contact, who instantly took over and was able to offer a better rate that the big bank still could not match, let alone compete with! Team Coppel even scheduled notary appointments for us and continued to print and deliver every document we needed.  Following closing, Team Coppel continued to check in to make sure we were settling in without issue. They've also offered additional insight with respect to good restaurants, pest control companies, furniture stores, even a place to purchase a box spring! I'll likely have to contact them for their preferred mechanic and dentist ;-)  The professional service provided by Team Coppel was bar none. They have integrity, which is a rarity these days. My husband and I unequivocally recommend them for any real estate needs. read more

Not the friendliest company in the state! Wife and I applied for a mortgage and their "trusted" mortgage broker was extremely rude and condescending towards us. This really soured our move t the area for quite some time. Most recently she has harassed myself and my wife with spam emails and when we pointed her attitude out to her she couldn't care less about the way she treated us. She is CLEARLY not a good representative for the company, but she continues to be employed by them. Feel bad because the agent we were referred to was a treat to talk to. We have since then found a more accommodating realty company to handle our needs and couldn't be happier. read more

One of the worst experiences I had with a real estate company. The agent I was set up with to purchase my first home seemed so uninterested in helping me find the right place. He gave no assistance in finding a house that fit my needs and budget and when it came time to look at places, has nothing valuable to say. He just kept on reading off of the sheet of paper that was provided. Absolutely useless company and I decided to leave after I was getting nowhere. Look elsewhere for better service. read more

The absolute WORST rental agency in town. Our agent Tim Stoner has left a family of 4 with a dog to suffer in a heat wave with no air conditioning for the last 5 days!! While these slumlords have been fighting about who is going to pay for the repairs, my family has had to schlep all over town from hotel to hotel with our pet and 2 children spending money we dont have. Tim had the audacity to tell me he doesnt have a magic wand to wave and that the owners are great people who really care about their tenants. Quite the contrary if you ask the repairman that finally showed up on day 2. According to him, we should be prepared for a fight because the owner Lin is apparently known for going the cheap route and never doing maintenance on his rentals. This is obviously true as we had this same exact issue last summer and it took days to repair, if you want to call it that. All they did was put a band aid on a bullet wound and hence here we are stuck again. Long Realty you are the worst excuse for a rental agency and Tim Stoner should learn a little bit of customer service. After all, we have NEVER paid our rent late and keep this shithole up to HOA standards! read more

4 years ago I tried working with a Long Realty agent as a buyer. Upon my first written offer, I was told that I had to pay an additional fee of several hundred dollars to cover IT or marketing. Long /Realty's IT capabilities and marketing is no better than any other real estate firms and in fact is much less capable than what can be found at Red Fin. Red Fin's information updates much more quickly than will Long Realty's information. I chose to walk away from the deal rather than go through Long Realty. Now, I am working through a much better, more capable real estate firm in Tucson, but unfortunately the listing I just looked at was a Long Realty listing. The listing turned out to be very misleading. The property stated there was space for an RV and that an RV garage was located on the property. Only problem being, there was absolutely no space to drive the rv on the property in order to park it in the garage. The only access had been blocked by a pool that was added after the garage was built. If I can avoid buying anything listed by Long Realty I will. read more

I wish I had of read the reviews on yelp. Long story short, I was a first time homebuyer and used a realtor with Long. Everything started good. I thought my home inspection went well? Two days after moving into my home I had a gas leak caused by the stove. The home inspector should have been knowledgeable in knowing that the stove had a slow leak. Two days later, my plumbing backed up. I contacted my home warranty company who immediately sent out a plumber. After inspection the plumber looked at me & asked how many days had I lived in the home? I responded four. He asked if I had a plumbing inspection? Yes! He advised me to call my realtor. I did. She acted so concerned. Two days later, she emailed me. Wished me the best of luck in my new home. Pointed out that she had paid for my home warranty for the first year & said she was sorry that I was having so many problems with the home. I paid a lot of money for inspections. I would have better off not having any inspection. This company is only about the money. read more

Absolutely ATROCIOUS. This company and the people I met there were horrible, terrible and every other negative word I can think of! I'm writing about my experience that I had with two of their realtors: a mother and daughter team- they were my first realtors I'd ever worked with, so I didn't know what to expect or if they were good or not because I didn't know what realtors were supposed to act like. I went to Long because they advertise so much, so I assumed (incorrectly) that they were good, just because of all their advertising. Boy was I wrong. At first it seemed professional. The very first thing they made me do was sign all these papers and contracts committing me to work only with them etc. and that they couldn't show me any houses unless I signed all these papers and this was normal procedure, and also so that I'd be stuck with them unless I sent a written letter stating I was no longer working with them etc. (For the record no other realtor has done that to me ever! Only Long.) So the mother and daughter team started showing me houses. I kept telling them what I was looking for in a house and the parts of town I was interested in. They must not have been good at listening because they kept showing me houses in parts of town I DIDN'T want to look at and they kept showing me the kinds of houses I WASN'T interested in. For example, I did NOT want a house in an HOA, so they kept showing me houses that were in HOA's for some reason... I also was interested in older homes made out of brick or masonry, so they kept showing me newer houses in newer developments made out of frame stucco... So I kept telling them again and again what I was looking for and they kept showing me houses they wanted me to see instead of showing me what I wanted to see. A couple of times they just kept driving past the house I was interested in, didn't even stop the car, and said "Oh no, you don't want that house, we're not stopping here" and they kept on driving even though I wanted to look at that particular house. When I said, "Well we're here, let's at least take a look" the daughter said, "No, you don't want that one" and kept driving. Then they showed me houses (once again) in areas I was not interested in and houses that I was not interested in. We looked for about a month and naturally I couldn't find anything I liked because they kept showing me the kind of houses they wanted to show me and the ones they wanted me to see (maybe based on their personal tastes?) and not the ones I wanted to see. By the 2nd week, they were getting rude and impatient with me because I hadn't bought a house yet. I could tell the mother and daughter were complaining about me behind my back and to others in the office because of how they treated me and the looks they gave me when I walked in to meet with them every few days to go house hunting. Finally one day (after only one month of looking) the daughter (who was in her 40's or 50's) was REALLY rude to me and she finally crossed a line. I'd been putting up with their shallow rude immature behavior because I felt bad for not buying a house with them after a month of looking, but when she spoke so nastily to me, I was finally done and fed up. I let her know that I wouldn't be working with them anymore and what paperwork do I need to sign to be let out of the contract- I said this as professionally as I could because I didn't want to be rude. At this point she went off on me, was even more rude than she'd been so far, and kept yelling at me and being unprofessional and just plain nasty. Finally I just had to hang up the phone while she was in the middle of yelling at me some more. They wouldn't even let me sign the paperwork to cancel my contract with them. I called the main broker at that office to let him know how I'd been treated and he was really rude too and didn't care at all about the way I'd been treated. So overall, HORRIBLE experience with Long and two of its realtors and main broker and some of the other passive aggressive "professional" workers there. Can you believe adults behave in such an immature, nasty, petty manner? It seems to me these are the type of people who "love to hate" and create a toxic hostile environment-- at least that was my experience with them. I will NEVER be back as a willing customer with this company and I usually tell people to avoid these guys. I highly do NOT recommend them- there are much better realtors out there! read more

Long Realty is truly a "one stop shop"! I am a Retired Veteran and my wife is a Veteran. We were put in touch with Long Realty by Veterans United Mortgage Company. Long Realty's association with Veterans United is in the form of a subsidiary company called Veterans United Realty Network and our Agent Realtor was Joel Pielemeier. Our Transaction Manager was Oden Raine, Sales Director. Our purchase of a home started out in fine form, with paperwork submittals and completion of a contract with the home seller sailing through the process. Then, our prospective purchase became a tangle of issues with the seller, and Flexibility became the key word of the day. There were three extensions of our closing date, the seller had money problems, then Covid hit my wife and I. Throughout this tangle of problems, Joel and Oden remained positive and supportive. When it became obvious that the sale might not go through due to the sellers issues, Joel and Oden teamed with the sellers Agent and Veterans United Mortgage to ensure that the sale would be completed successfully. Key to the success of the sale was the assistance of the team of Kristen Rutkowski, Maribel Cervantes, and Nicole Atkinson at Agave Title. They worked well with Joel and Oden to ensure that the correct documents were prepared and sent to us for our electronic signatures. Another important part of the sale was the great service received from Sue Burd and Melissa Dahl at Long Insurance Group when we needed to obtain Homeowners Insurance. Tyler Lopez was instrumental in ensuring that necessary documents for the sale were sent to us for our signatures. Finally, everything fell into place and a closing date was set. My wife and I started our travel from Colorado to Arizona, and the seller had another issue with his finances. Joel and Oden maintained contact with the sellers Agent and Veterans United Mortgage and everything worked out. Then, our final walk-through inspection of the house with Joel was a disaster as the seller still had 50% of his belongings in the house. A plan was put into place that allowed the seller to continue removing his property. While we were on the road back to Colorado, an issue with the sellers mortgage company came up and Joel and Oden again stepped up and took care of it for us. Oden went above and beyond by staying with the seller for two days to ensure that he removed his property and that no "final acts of defiance" type damage occurred while the property was removed. I know this is a long testimonial, but it is necessary to show how this organization goes so far above and beyond to ensure that their clients receive the very best personalized care and exceptional customer service. My experience with Long Realty in the Tucson foothills was the worst real estate experience in my history and I've bought and sold 14 homes and condos in my lifetime in California, Colorado and Arizona. My agent was Merle Martinovich an she acted as a dual-agent on a condo I bought in Ventana Canyon. Without going into all the details, what ethical agent recommends to the buyer NOT to do an appraisal or an inspection on a 30 year old property just because it's had a few superficial updates? Well, I did an inspection despite her advice and asked for the 30 year old AC unit to be repaired or replaced with a licensed HVAC contractor based on the inspector's advice. What I received was a "handyman receipt" but after closing on the condo realizing that nothing had been done to the unit at all. It's covered in black mold and is rusting out and the temps can never get to below 76 degrees. I am already having respiratory issues due to breathing in this black mold! I've contacted Laura Mance and Merle Martinovich including a letter and photos from my attorney and they are not willing to offer a dime (or ask the sellers) for making this situation right by me! I'm basically SOL because Long Realty hasn't stepped up for me as the buyer at all. In fact, the seller got $5000 over-asking from me and the agent lined her pocket with double the commission. Problem is after my purchase Long Reality gave my information to a third party mailing company, so now I am receiving unwanted mail. When I reached out to the Realtor whose name and business card is attached to the mailings be removed from the mailing list, she told me that it is a third party who is doing the mailings and Long Reality has no way of stopping the mailings. Long Realty Company of Saddlebrooke lied and did not tell me about the termite problem in the home that I bought in Saddlebrooke, Arizona. I did not discover the termite damage until after closing and I moved some heavy furniture and bookshelves that I bought with the house. Behind that furniture the baseboards had been eaten out by termites. When I called an exterminator company associated with the area I was informed that they had been to the home many times to treat for termites, they could not believe that Long Realty Company had hid this from me. Both my real estate agent and the sellers real estate agent were from Long Realty Company. Laura, the manager of these 2 agents told me it was my own fault that I did not look into a possible termite problem, I asked her why I had a agent representing me? I was an old man who was set up by this group, all they cared about was getting their commissions. Please, do not use Long Realty Company to buy a home in Saddlebrooke, they have control of the Saddlebrooke market and others have similar stories just like mine. Of course, filing complaints to managers and corporate was a total waste of time, everything was my fault. Nara, Laura and the sellers agent all were from Long Realty Company and they destroyed the life of an old disabled Veteran, they could care less. I did not even receive a thank you gift after the closing from Nara, of course, she was a no show most of the time anyway in this process anyway. Laura strong armed me and gave the impression that I would be sued if I did not close when I complained about some things before closing like one bathroom having human feces and urine all over a toilet and on the floor, her comment was I was getting $250 to clean the house. Please, please, stay away from Long Realty Company. You don't want to be sitting in a home destroyed by termites and have to call a termite company out everytime that you see new evidence of termites. read more
