Jadeans as is under new ownership. Now called "Back Porch BBQ". Same great BBQ but some new items as well. If you haven't been there in a while you need to get back.

Great 3 meats platter. Pulled chicken, pulled pork, and slices of brisket. Collard greens are fresh and delicious. Tried the award winning baked beans, and they are very good. Service was great too.

Ambiance: How I would imagine a BBQ joint. Country music and videos played in the bar area loud enough to know the song but quiet enough to not disrupt our table convo. We sat ourselves per the signage. Our server, Christie (?) was great! Informed of us the differences in the sauces. Checked on us without being overbearing despite them being an hour from closing. We had the Frisky Brisket, Slider Trio and the Redneck Sundae. Food came out quickly, and packed with flavor! I don't have words to describe the food. Really just mmm, mhmm, yes and bites with eyes closed. The Fyrah Fyrah sauce was so good in the Frisky Brisket sandwich. The Mac and cheese was more typical but had a yummy smokiness! I added a little bbq, and it definitely leveled it up even more.

One slab of ribs. Collards, potato salad, Mac and cheese, bourbon baked beans. The platter was huge!

Great little joint. We ordered a slab of ribs and several sides. Ribs were meaty and yummy. I really enjoyed the vinegar based bbq sauces. Loved the baked beans, potato salad and collards. The Mac and cheese was smoked, sorta different but obviously popular. Loved the fresh lemonade. Friendly service. We will stop by again, thanks!

Cozy local spot off the beaten path with excellent food and super friendly service! Another bbq restaurant we went to closed early due to running out of bbq! Super glad we came as we throughly enjoyed everything we ordered

I have been wanting to try this place for a while now after hearing so many great things about it. I finally had an opportunity to for lunch. Overall, I was pretty disappointed in this place as I had high hopes based on what others were saying. We ordered: Limeade - I have a thing for limeade and this unfortunately didn't make the cut. There was barely any lime flavor in there. Although it was a good price ($4 for a hugeee cup), I don't think it was worth it. I ended up not finishing this because it reminded me of just sugar water with some sprite. Sweet onion hush puppies - I thought these were going to be different from other hush puppies because it had sweet onion in it but tasted like any other ones you'd find at a restaurant. It had a good crunch and paired well with the butter. Pulled pork sandwich - this sandwich was stuffed full and was probably enough to make two sandwiches. It was juicy and smoky but lacked flavor (didn't know that could be a thing!). The original bbq sauce helped a bit with it but not much. Cherry wood smoked chicken sandwich - was slightly dry, smoky but lacked flavor as well. Mac and cheese - was really disappointed in this, mainly because we found a piece of hair in it! Overall, I was pretty disappointed in this place and hope that I just caught them on a bad day.

I called curbside even though Phase 2 was in place! My oh my! This place was Smokin '... and I'm not just talkin' bbq!! The girl who answered the phone, Carolyn, was as sweet as the iced tea! Super friendly and helpful with the menu! She even brought my limeade out to my car while I waited because it was a scorcher! She goes, "I thought you need this first!" Now that's Southern hospitality! Btw, wearing appropriate PPE. There were a couple of picnic tables with umbrellas in front of the restaurant for outside dining. Several bbq lovers were taking advantage of that option! I ordered burgers... because if they do bbq right, you know the burgers will be good! We also got Hand cut seasoned fries, and a pulled smoked pork bbq sandwich (North Carolina style!) Several of their entrées come in smaller sizes, we opted for the 4 oz. rather than the 6 oz. bbq. Carolyn also upsold me with their homemade banana pudding! Fresh squeezed limeade and semi-sweet tea refreshed our souls! Back at the house, we opened our food, which was packaged well, and included condiments, napkins & utensils. I'd prefer the sandwiches wrapped in a container, instead of foil, because they got a little squished. Initially, we thought, these burgers look a little small... but let me tell you, they are thick and full of smoky tastiness. Compact hamburgers with tons of flavor! I'd order these again! The pulled pork was superb and the tangy sauce was on time, the fresh coleslaw (packaged separately) added a nice, crispy touch. I'm looking forward to eating my way through this menu... next up... sliced brisket, cherry wood smoked chicken, baby back ribs and bourbon baked beans... and pies!! This awesome bbq joint is right off Patterson, it's a breeze to find... just follow your nose!!

Pride & Passion. That's what you taste and experience as soon as you walk through the door at Jadeans Smokin Six O BBQ. My Fiancé and I were greeted by Amy at the register and told her it was our first time there. She was beyond helpful with suggestions when it came to deciding what to order. Their menu has a wide variety of options when it comes to utilizing their smoked meats. Sandwiches, Appetizers & Meat platters galore; there's something for everyone. We landed with getting their Smoked Brisket, Smoked Chicken Thigh Sandwich, Smoked Mac & Cheese, Baked Beans, Onion Rings and their Coated Fries. Everything was perfectly smoked, delicious, and it was some of the best baked beans I've had! I will say, the brisket was a little on the dry side for our taste, BUT the smoke flavor with the sauce was perfect. But what's going to keep you coming back is the customer service. You truly feel at home and welcome by all of the staff. The owner (Janet was her name I think) personally came to our table and thanked us for coming in. We left with an apple turnover (BEST WE'VE HAD) Brunswick Stew and Banana Pudding made to order to take home. Will have reviews for those later. We highly highly recommend, from 2 restaurant industry people.

Stopped by here tonight with some friends and had a great experience. The staff were great and the atmosphere was homey and clean. The food overall I'll say was average but good! The wings had a great flavor and were super juicy but I felt the brisket, ribs, and pulled chicken were a little dry but had a good flavor. The Mac and cheese though had a creamy flavorful texture and the fries were fried to perfection. Overall, I would say the food was good but nothing special.

The baby back ribs were from a big old bull. A pork and beans could have come from a can.

Everyone I interacted with was really nice and walked my friend and I through how to play. We ended up also eating upstairs and the food offerings were really yummy. We shared the soft pretzels as a starter which came with a delicious mustard sauce. I ended up getting their chicken sandwich as my main, I found the sandwich itself to be fried a bit too hard so I can't reccomend that but their fries appeared to be hand cut and those were absolutely delicious. Overall this place is a great spot for families, friends or I could even see this being a fun date spot. Its really a one stop shop with their restaurant and activities being in the same place. Highly recommend!

They have a very limited menu at lunch so you have a few appetizers to choose from, a few salads and sandwiches and burgers, so straight up American food. It does skew southern with crab cake sandwich, pimento cheese and fried chicken. For an appetizer we decided to try the wings. They were good and came with ranch drizzled over the wings. For entrees my husband got their farm & oak burger with Cole slaw and I got their wedge salad with fried chicken. Both were good. The salad was nice and cold and crisp, which was appreciated on such a hot day. It did have too much dressing so next time I might ask for less dressing or have it on the side. I enjoyed the food, service was good and it is a pretty restaurant. I'll probably come back for supper some time to try some of their more in-depth meals.

What a great decision! When you walk in, you immediately notice that all of the wines are beautifully displayed -- it doubles as a wine shop, which gives it such a warm and welcoming vibe. It feels cozy but elevated at the same time. They don't offer flights for groups larger than five, but we were able to order one dealer's choice flight based on our preferred flavor profiles. From there, we could select a bottle inspired by the flight. A few of us gravitated toward reds. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable -- we told her the flavor profiles we liked, and she brought out three reds to try. The Wade & Wayfarer Pinot Noir was our favorite (so good!), though a bit pricier. We also tried the Alkoorai Cab/Merlot blend, which ended up being our least favorite. Ultimately, we chose the Denner Nightshade GSM -- excellent pick. Bonus tip: if you purchase a bottle $50 or more, there's no corkage fee; under $50, there is. Our waitress also mentioned that South American Merlots are the best Merlots as we all mentioned Merlot tends to be more dry. A few in our group ordered the Masterpiece Theatre cocktail on our waitress's recommendation -- she did not steer us wrong! Food-wise, everything was a hit. Our friends ordered the Cacio e Pepe burrata, pickled shrimp, Caesar salad, mushroom and leek flatbread, and the Brie and pear flatbread (both flatbreads were huge!). They loved every dish. My husband and I shared the bread with olive oil (simple and delicious), the charred octopus (tender with amazing flavor), gnocchi Bolognese, and lamb chops. Everything was fantastic -- the only small note was that the lamb could've been a bit more rare -- but still very flavorful. By the end of the night, all six of us agreed we'd absolutely be back. We're even looking into their wine club -- $60/month for two bottles (pickup required at the shop), which honestly sounds like a great deal. Apparently, they change up their wine flights weekly, which makes it even more fun and gives us a reason to return. Such a great experience all around -- can't wait to go back and try more wines!

You can try another if the first is not to your liking! The food is excellent, with it all being house made. Everything from flatbread to lamb chops. They also have wine tastings several evening per week with minimal charges. Knowledgeable servers and bartender. There is a small bar also, so beer and drinks are also available. We have gone multiple times with different friends and everyone has loved our evenings.
