We opted for the salad bar at about 3:30. The lettuce was old and turning yellow. Other salad offerings were OK. But furniture old and marred, paint peeling. Servers take up 3 booths, both messy, to visit and roll up silverware. Carpet very worn. Perhaps the entrees are OK, but the interior is faded and old, not a pleasant dining experience. read more

Hadn't been to ruby Tuesdays in a few years, Friend of mine came to town. He ordered a ribeye with the sides. A Mc Donalds plain Hamburger patty was thicker than this rib eye was. I then remembered why I stopped going there. The quality for the price and service lacks in comparison to other restaurants. Well... walking in I was concerned, seemed a little dingy but ok. Waited a few for the hostess who was sweet enough, brought me to my sticky table. I decided pretty quick to get a to go order so I headed to the bar. From bad to worse. The entire bar was empty but full of dirty glasses and sticky stuff. Gave them another try. I was really just craving a salad with decent blue cheese. That's one thing they always have going for them. Wife and I both got a meal deal, app with entrée and desert not expecting much. Salad bar was on point. Un wilted lettuce and fresh looking vegetables. Then to our surprise apps came out hot and tasty. Spinach dip was really good. Bergers came out in a timely manner. They were cooked perfect. Nice and juicy. Not the overcooked hockey pucks we have received previous visits. Fries were a little sad it must have been the end of the bag. 99% little fries and pieces. Not a big deal. Desert was a Sunday not much more then some ice-cream with caramel and chocolate sauce. Ruby Tuesday suffers from a case of small town snobbery, much like many of the chain restaurants in Dublin (Applebee's and Red Lobster are in similar boats on Veteran's Blvd too). Ruby Tuesday is a great lunch and dinner place for casual dining. The salad bar is good (especially around lunch), and the food is very tasty. By far the biggest draw, though, is the staff. This restaurant has perhaps the most friendly wait staff I've seen in a very long time. And it wasn't just our waitress. All of the wait staff was very nice and willing to help. There are a couple restaurants in Atlanta who's wait staff should come here and take some notes... Overall, the food itself was good, but nothing incredible. Though, the peach lemonade was to die for! Overall, I would normally give this restaurant about a solid 3 and a half to 4 stars, however, I'm rating it a 5 to offset what I feel are some of it's less than deserved 1 & 2 star reviews. read more

This place was awful. The salad bar was not stocked or kept. Food was wasted everywhere on the salad bar. My server was so confused. When I asked her to remove the salad bar off my ticket she was bewildered. We never got a drink we ordered. The restroom were unkept. It took FOREVER just to get a water refill. Very RUDE staff.. There were multiple tables not occupied while the workers just sat and talked. Told my party of 5 it would be a 25 min wait.. we waited for 45 mins until I asked how much longer.. they proceeded to tell us that it would be another hour. This rating is for service alone. Called earlier in the day and they said they do not take reservations. We came in after the dinner rush at 7:45. Just my husband and myself. I could see 4 tables of 2 and 4 tables of 4 empty as we came in the door. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait. I just counted and there is 14 empty tables. Tell me why this should be happening? I finally spoke up and got the 2 parties before us seated. A party of 5 and a part of 2 Our server Eric was wonderful, very accommodating. Why wasn't there any management there. Or if they were there they certainly didn't know what was going on in his or her restaurant. I'm glad we were just passing through and don't ever need to return. I feel bad for the people in Dublin if this is what you put up with I feel bad. This is a very poor excuse for a restaurant read more

I don't know why this location doesn't have better reviews. I had eaten here last Thursday night & in the past twice. The service was friendly & attentive. The appetizers came out quickly & were good. The spring rolls were awesome, the wings were pretty good, the chicken tenders were, well, tender. Sadly the cheese sticks tasted like they were fried just long enough to be slightly warmer than thawed. The Asian sauce was the best of all that came with this platter. I ended up dipping everything in that. For the entree I got a glazed salmon with grilled zucchini & rice pilaf. The meal came out on a plate so large nothing was touching the other. The rice was sooo very over done it looked like orzo. The salmon & zucchini were perfect. I love that zucchini. The negative is they had a drink special that I wasn't allowed to get unless I sat at the bar. $2 beers vs $5.25. read more

I stay at the hotel next door at least once a week but most times it is 2 or more nights in a row. I walk to Ruby Tuesday's to eat; since it is so convenient. Courtney at the bar is the best bartender that I have encountered in a very long time, not just here but anywhere and I travel ALOT!! She makes every visit the best she can not matter how busy she may get! Don't know how this place is even in business. We were staying at the hotel next door and decided to walk to Ruby Tuesday's for supper. As we walked in the girl greeted us in a friendly way but acted like she wasn't sure where to seat (the place was pretty full on a Thursday night). She said wait a minute please and disappeared into the kitchen. So we stood there for a while maybe close to 5 min. I said to my wife I am about trade to leave. The girl came out of the kitchen and was seen carrying plates. Eventually she and another girl got their heads together and seated us. There we sat. No one came to take our drink orders. A waitress came to the table next to us and filled their glasses but that was all we saw if any wait staff on our side of the room outside of the girl who seated us walking around serving tables across the room. More people we're coming in and she would seat them. She seemed to look at us because we were seated near the entrance but she never offered help. There we sat waiting with our menus... After about 15 min, we just got up and left. We were never served drinks and never spoken too after we sat down. Now I see the reviews contain more of that. I'd say skip em if you want service. read more

I never think of Ruby Tuesday as a 5 star restaurant, but it really does deserves a perfect rating. The salad bar alone is awesome - make your own with a good variety of toppings. Plus there's potato salad, pasta salad and fruit options on the bar as well. Love it! The burgers are large and juicy - that's usually what we get. We went here about a month ago and I have to say I was not impressed. We had family from out of town and it was decided that we would eat here. We had what appeared to be a combination of three waitresses. The younger of the two waitresses was the nice and accommodating. The other waitress did was not. We ordered simple food hamburger, fries and chicken fingers and fries. 1 1/2 hour later we received our food, minus my cousins from out of town she got her food about 10 mins after that. This being a chain, the menu is pretty much what you'd expect. Overall, the experience was so-so. Not bad, but not spectacular. I hate to admit it, but I might just be a little biased towards Chili's! Still, the fries were very good, with a lot of seasoning. My bourbon chicken was fine, but not particularly unique. While my family was a little disappointed with their burgers, they were thrilled with the salad bar, which pretty much saved the day. If you're looking for food with a good salad bar, this is your place. If you want exceptional food or something really unique, try somewhere else. The food at this location is exactly as I would expect from a Ruby Tuesday. Ok, but nothing special. What is special about this restaurant was their willingness to go above and beyond in service. My daughter left her stuffed animal there on our vacation. When I finally tracked it down, two days later, they overnight shipped the toy to me immediately and with no extra charge. I was amazed at the friendliness and concern shown by the staff about a simple toy that meant the world to my daughter. I would eat there on our next trip based entirely on this experience. read more
