I'm giving two stars because i was told per the night manager Texas Roadhouse could no longer give out plastic ware or to go cups if your dining in. Because of demands on her catering side. Then my ribs had to go back because they were burnt and dried out by the time I received my food I was ready to go because my remaining party had finished eating. The food was fantastic. Online ordering was a breeze compared to one of my past experiences. The burger was cooked well. The tomato was too ripe so I left it off the burger. Maybe next time I'll add that in the special instructions to give me a not so ripe tomato. Hey, I like what I like but if it isn't available, I can definitely do without. The potato was al dente. I guess that would be the word to describe it as it was pretty big and needed to cook a little more, but it was edible so no complaints. I chose the strawberry shortcake as they call it, but I consider it to be a strawberry cream cake. I'm glad it's not made with the original shortcakes because I am not fond of those and would have chosen something else. I requested the berries/puree on the side for two reasons. 1. I didn't want it to be soggy before I made it home. 2. I felt that cake would be good without the addition of the berries, and it was! I did try it with some of the sauce and it was still great. My wife and I decided to go there for my birthday this past Sunday afternoon around 330. Seated quickly. Then we sat there for at least 15 minutes, watching server after server after server walk by our table and never make eye contact much less not be acknowledged in any way shape or form. We decided to get up take our menus back to the hostess explain what happened, pulling out where we were seated then we politely left. We typically frequent Longhorn on Sundays but I decided to grab lunch yesterday (Monday) instead for friends. I opted to order inside instead of online which probably was the best thing under the circumstances. I would like to say Kolby + Jayla handled walk-ins + to-go orders like pros while the kitchen and floor were short staffed and half the menu was nonexistent ie. All apps + most popular steaks. Having worked customer service and food service I definitely understand how stressful that could get -- but the problem solving amongst the two were great!! I'll definitely be back soon -- but wanted to be sure to give the Longhorn Team kudos for handling that lunch rush under the circumstances wonderfully. read more

Consistently delicious food and exceptional service. My only gripe with Longhorn is their long-standing tip miscalculations. Read closely on the receipt how they actually calculate the tip suggestions post tax. Every tipping etiquette guide uniformly say tips should be calculated pre-tax as you don't tax on government taxes. I continue to be disappointed in longhorns choice to take advantage of their customers i'm making tipping suggestions which are too high as I'm sure the vast majority of people don't read the fine print. read more

Very disappointed in my meal last night at Riverside Drive, Macon location. Ordered the pork chop with sweet potato and cinnamon and butter. The pork chops were very thin and dry. They were seasoned with something and it was terrible. I had 2 bites but the pork chops were so salty that I had to immediately send them back. The rest of the table had their meals and the restaurant was so busy that I didn't get to eat with the rest of my family and friends. The waitress was great but no one even bothered to come to the table about the issue I had with my food. I am not sure if I will be returning to the Macon location any time soon. I've dined in here twice and ordered curbside once. Each time my food was fresh and hot when I got it. There's always a crowd and I usually go by myself but I always get a seat and a good server. For the curbside service they use a text system and you respond back with your stall #. The food came out fast and the server had included silverware even though I had marked the box no. I was thrilled because I had changed my mind and needed silverware. He said people have yelled at him before about that. What a-hole declines something and then gets mad that it's not in the bag. Anywho, sometimes the place looks a little dirty but like I said it is always slammed so they just need to stay on top of it. I don't go into the bathrooms at restaurants because I expect them to be dirty and I have a delicate stomach. I want to eat without dirty bathroom on my mind. read more

Thank you for being open for 1 more day during this pandemic. We are visiting from California where there is currently a lockdown. It was a lovely site to see someone was still open. We had the best white cheddar stuffed mushrooms for a appetizer. My husband had lamb chops with mashed potatoes and a salad. I had the renegade sirloin which was cooked to the perfect medium-rare. OMG I have not had a steak cooked perfect in a long time. Everyone is extremely nice. Our server Janae was on point. She was so nice and just wonderful as she kept refilling our drinks. Wish I would have taken pics of my food before destroying it. We are in the area visiting and these guys knocked it out of the park today. Steak was PERFECTLY cooked. I mean PERFECT! My wife raved about it and I really enjoyed the lamb chops. Just wish I would have gotten the steak I stead because it was so on point. I'm totally underwhelmed on how they handled the dine-in and curbside orders. There was no social distancing in order nor protocol to handle the long waits and pickup orders. There was a major lack of communication between customers and employees so we were just left to wait for hours. Customers were told to wait outside for hours (me included) eventually causing them to block the front doors which did not Exemplify social distancing as well. Went to Longhorn fork a work luncheon. Came with a group of about 12 people and were seated within 10 minutes. We di call ahead, but our company also had other teams that were there before us. They seated us all in the same section and our orders were taken after the drinks came. As a disclaimer, I never order steak when I'm out because I'm very particular in how my steak is cooked. Went here for dinner with some coworkers. Place was packed but ended up with a table after about 20 minute minute which was pretty good. Most of the table ended up getting steaks. I got the Flo Filet that a coworker recommended. They did a great job with the crust and inside was cooked perfectly. Everyone was satisfied with the food. The only note is that they tended to undercook the meat. My husband had a steak that was delicious however his sides were not fresh or hot. I ordered French onion soup that was ice cold. They made me a new one which was hot, but it had no broth. My dinner was shrimp skewered. I have had this at other Long Horns but last night my shrimp was too greasy to eat. I paid more for the spaghetti squash side which was not fully cooked.
