It was lunch. I had the mezzaluna ravioli. I haven't been to a Carrabas in a few years. They've changed the mezzaluna ravioli and not in a good way. Their food used to taste freshly cooked. The tomato cream sauce tasted like it came from a can and they added chicken to the ravioli. It's wasn't tasty. Their house salad was the same although mine was slightly over dressed. The bread and dipping oil was fine. The waitress did a good job. The ambiance was fine. The music was a little loud and the restaurant was a little too cool. read more

I stopped in today with a friend for lunch. We were seated promptly and service was quick. I ordered Sausage and lentil soup which was great. My friend ordered chicken noodle soup which was the best we have had anywhere. I had Linguine Positano. It was very good but a little too much pasta water. My friend had Filet and shrimp fettucine. She absolutely loved it. Our waitress was very courteous and helpful. They earned the 5 star rating for restroom cleanliness alone. This was an outstanding experience. read more

We stopped in for Happy Hour. Service was great! However, we placed orders for a dinner to go and an additional $10 to go meal. We later discovered that we didn't have salad, or our side. We did have our steak and mashed potatoes and shrimp and scallops. I returned later that evening with the food and the server offered to remake the seafood meal. I was completely satisfied until I returned home to discover that the Spiedino seemed to be prepared on a beach. There was so much grit that I had to trash the entire meal. This is exactly why I refused to return food to the kitchen in the past. I regret not requesting a refund and calling it a night. read more

Good food but slow service when sitting at the bar. It was better than waiting for a table, but the bartenders barely stopped by. I asked for water 3 times before I got it and ordering took forever, as did the check when I was done. It WAS busy so that's part of it, but most Carrabba's are. Food wise, the salad was a little overdressed and not the most fresh ever, but it wasn't terrible. The Shrimp Linguini dish could have used more shrimp than it had, but it was flavorful. The Italian Old Fashioned cocktail I had was OK. It kind of just tasted like Southern Comfort. I switched to the Chianti with my dinner as I wanted to bring my inner Hannibal Lector while dining on those entrails... I mean linguine noodles. Sunday night dinner wasn't up to snuff. The main dish, Eggplant Parmigiana was too thickly breaded thus the actual Eggplant was hardly noticeable. After eating some, I started to remove the breading to find the Eggplant. See pictures as evidence. On top of that the Eggplant still had its skin on it which typically is removed before cooking and serving. This was the only bad thing that stood out as my server was EXCELLENT. Thank you Nycole for looking after me. Food staff please make some adjustments on your type of breading and the breading as it needs to be lightly breaded. I haven't dined at Carrabbas in years. I gained a reward by dining at Bonefish but I decided I would use it here. Calamari is one of my favorite things to eat, and I know first-hand that Carrabbas can deliver great calamari. Many places have the onion ring looking calamari and those can be good too. Don't get me wrong. But these are the real deal. The ricardo sauce pairing is and will always be my preferred dipping sauce. Since I haven't had the opportunity to tell you personally, here it is. Me and my daughter and father took my mother out on Mother's Day05/10/2026 my mother, and my sister had the lamb chops. I had the linguine with shrimp& scallops and my sister had one appetizer are you have fish cakes and you know what she gave me a a piece and she won't give me the other piece the last piece but I didn't. I didn't want it. She didn't really like it either and then goat cheese things as goat cheese and goat cheese it was all right. It didn't look like the cover on the menu, but it was good in my father he had I think it was I think it was meatballs, but he didn't really eat it. He took it home, but he has salad and I had a salad to chef salad. That was pretty good and my mother couldn't eat the I forgot what she had but she couldn't eat it though because they had too much pepper ones so they gave her a replacement of spinach when I bit into my linguine it was so so I mean we've been at this place so many times it was really good this time. I don't know what happened. Maybe you had a new Chef but the waitress was nice. She's real nice. I don't know if she was single or not but I want to ask her what she made me if I didn't get a chance to do all that State about it about an hour and a half and then we got up and we left. After another long day in the car, we stopped for dinner here. The place was mobbed but luckily, found a place at the bar. My salad was good as was my chicken piccata. The 9 oz Chianti was a perfect complement. Considering the crowd, service was attentive. We will have to remember to stop here next time. read more

I do not like to write bad reviews though I couldn't keep myself from doing it this time considering all the things that went wrong. We had a reservation at 8:15 pm though we did not get to sit down until 8:45 after that we waited from 8:45 until 9:49 on our food. The waiter would come to our table several times and forget to refill our drinks and bring us bread and oil. He sent a lady to refill our drinks not only did she try to give us the wrong drinks she also ignored me when I tried to tell her that the drinks weren't ours. She walked away after rolling her eyes at me while I was still talking to her. In the picture you will see the steak I ordered well done. Visited here while I was in the area. It wasn't very crowded since it was on a Tuesday midday. Elissa was our server. She was very pleasant and engaging. She was helpful with menu suggestions and had a great demeanor. I tried chicken carbonara from their seasonal menu. The food was absolutely amazing. It was flavored well and hot. We had the pleasure of being served by Nitra - she was a delight and communicated with us when there was a delay post seating and even checked on the progress of our app without being asked. The decor gives rustic Italy with a modern twist. The noise level was average and the kitchen was booming! The help of runners allowed the servers time to be attentive to guests and food to come out hot and fresh. Not a stranger to this chain, I always like trying it in different cities. We started off with salads -- their Italian and Caesar salads are always a hit my family and I. I always take part in the mozzarella marinara as my app - if you're a dipper like me - ask for two extra Mariana sauces upfront! For our entree, I was happy the rigatoni al forno was back even if it didn't have enough meat to my liking but overall I gave it a 3.5/5 on flavor. My parents got their usual -- Tuscan-Grilled Porkchops with side of garlic mash and sautéed broccoli & the Chicken Parmesan with sautéed spinach. We all opted for shredded cheese on top of our meals - Yum! Once the food arrives go ahead and ask for a to-go box because you'll definitely need it! They give you double portions on just about everything!! But just in case you want triple the left overs, they offer a $10 pasta to go. I usually like this special because I can try a new pasta that's different from my meal! P.S. The owners here are no strangers to hard work and dedication. I still enjoy going to Carrabba's with my family. We went this time when they had the "Winter" menu. Sunday atmosphere was good and the staff and service was great, very humble. My mom and aunt got the new menus item with the Big plate of Short Ribs over mashed potatoes with a Marsala wine sauce, Was very good! All our food was delicious. All in all we'll keep going back as long as they keep up the atmosphere and good food. read more

I purchased the side of spaghetti with meatballs as a takeout dish. The side is something the restaurant does not advertise but it does sell. It's a smaller portion. The side of spaghetti was only $4.95 If you wanted meatballs you could purchase one meatball for $2.30 or three for $4.00. I purchased the three meatballs extra. The dish came with olive oil and herbs and bread. It was delicious. And filling. The regular meal came with a soup or salad and of course a larger portion for $17.99. I decided I didn't want that much food and that's why I purchased a side. As you can see from the pictures it was a nice ample amount of food and I was filled. I only paid $9.49 for everything. The restaurant has a quaint feel to it. It has a higher end feel than olive garden. The crowd appears to be more settled as well. Older people. The executive, golf club member, retired, elderly and visitors to Macon. The restaurant has an intimate setting with dim lights and dark wood interior and ample parking. The food was delicious. And easier on my budget. The setting was nice intimate and laid back. Employees were professional and friendly. I will be back to try other dishes. read more

Our granddaughter wanted to eat at Carrabba's during our trip to Macon to visit the Science Museum and see the Christmas lights. We got there at a great time (around 5:15) because there was no wait. Our server, Simone, came right over and took our drink order. Another server brought our drinks along with bread and herbs to mix with olive oil, which she mixed for us. Simone came back and took our order. Our granddaughter ordered Chicken Parmesan with mashed potatoes. My husband and I split the Chicken Marsala with mashed potatoes and a Ceasar salad plus the Creamy Parmesan Salad. Simone checked on us multiple times, as did other restaurant employees who took our dirty dishes away. The overall service was excellent and they had it decorated so festive for Christmas. The restaurant was clean and very comfortable. Our entrees were delicious and they even split the chicken Marsala for us. (I love that). We would all highly recommend this restaurant and I hope you get Simone. She was fantastic!! read more

I sat at the bar. This area seemed quite dated. I did not look at the main dining room. When I arrived it was apparent the kitchen was behind. People were saying they had been waiting a while for food. Mine came out quickly at the same time as everyone else's. I had the veal piccata with the soup that has orzo and beef and lentils and broccoli. I have never had such over salted food at a restaurant. Every food I had was very very salty. Since they were behind I didn't send it back but as someone who uses very little salt I didn't enjoy dinner as much as I wanted to. read more

The front of house manager here looks like Tobias off of Arrested Development. Food is excellent here, but the hostess stand needs improvement. No one knows how to use the computer check-in system properly. It leads to confusion and fights. Tobias tried to fix it, but he really didn't add any credibility to the situation. We were in the Macon area shopping on a Saturday and stopped here before heading home. The restaurant was packed, and there was even a short wait for a table. We always sit at the bar at Carrabbas, so fortunately, there were seats available. There were two friendly young men at the bar that night who took care of us. We ordered our usual drinks, the Silcian Prickly Pear Margarita, my favorite and the blackberry Sangria, a close second favorite. As an appetizer, we had the calamari. It was crunchy and seasoned well. For entrees. My husband had the Chicken Marsala, and I had the entrée Ceasar salad with Salmon. All of our food was delicious and came out in a timely fashion. Wow! 5 star service and 5 star food!! I haven't been to a Carrabba's in a few years and was just blown away today at lunch. The servers were so efficient and courteous, which is rare nowadays. Dinner was delicious. The salad was fresh and very tasty. The bread was warm and crummy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. We had to wait a few minutes for our waitress to take our drink order but after that things moved along quickly. My party of four all enjoyed their meals. My daughter and I dined on a busy Saturday night at the bar. We waited an extremely long time for our meal only for me to send back a cold plate. Brittany, the bartender immediately told the manager without my knowing. Keisha then came up to me and provided excellent care in handling the issue. My grandparents and I stopped by here for an early dinner. The interior is an elegant but simple design. Our waitress, Simone, immediately came to help us and gave us our menus and some bread. We all got Tea. After 1-2 minutes, they took our drink orders and brought out our drinks. Then, she took our order for our food. The service at this restaurant is impeccable. After 10-15 minutes, she brought out our food. I got the Chicken Parmesan with mashed potatoes and my grandparents split the Chicken Marsala with mashed potatoes and salads. My grandparents meal was pre-separated. Although it needed a little salt, the mashed potatoes were great. The Chicken Parmesan was also flawless. My grandparents seemed to like their food as well. I wanted to personally say of all the carrabba's. I went to this one has to be the best and top-notch 1 I've been to. Me and my boyfriend and I had a came here to celebrate my birthday after we went to the strawberry festival in Reynolds, Georgia. We had no problem getting a seat and having ourselves taken care of, and honestly, this has to be the fast service I've had and so long. We both had nothing to complain about the service. Or how peaceful it was here. And after a few bumps in the road, especially trying some places out for my birthday. I love this one entirely, plus it was actually my first time trying to breathe pudding at carrabba's. The service is top-notch food is top-notch. And everything was all around excellent. I can't wait till me and my boyfriend and I come back to Macon. This will be one of our favorite places to come to eat anytime we come to or through Macon. The portion was so disappointing for the money we paid. The food did taste good, but the value just wasn't there!

Our server Tinisha(sp) was the best. Her knowledge of every dish was refreshing, and her making sure we knew the specials. I love the way that whom ever is available to bring food or drinks out do it without waiting for the original server. They show great team work.
