My son loved his steak, loved the seasoning and the cook. He ordered the 8oz sirloin ($19) medium rare, I think it was a bit under, but he thought it was delicious. I ate his side salad, crisp and crunchy lettuce with fresh veggies, it was good. He also loved the bread and fries. I had the spicy chicken bites. I've eaten inside here awhile back but I recently got a takeout order. Ordering via the website was pretty easy. They even have an option for using a gift card which is great! I ordered the Chop Steak, well done, with a side order of mashed potatoes and a small salad with blue cheese dressing. After arriving at the restaurant, there are about three numbered pickup spots where you park waiting for your order. They text you a link, and you tell them what numbered pickup spot you're parked in. They then hand deliver the order to your car. This process went flawless. The food was in a plastic bag and was packaged very well. With the order, was a small fresh loaf of bread. The chopped salad was very good. It contained a little shredded cheddar cheese, finely diced/cubed tomatoes and finely diced/cubed cucumbers. In the condiment utensil bag, there was also a small bag of croutons. The blue cheese dressing was good and was packed in its own container. The chopped steak was smothered in brown gravy with some mushrooms and some fried onions. If you don't like it that way, I would recommend you tell them to not include those. The chop steak was cooked well done as requested and was seasoned well. I liked it a lot. The mashed potatoes were buttered and tasted pretty good. The loaf of bread was good too. I believe it is a honey wheat type and it tasted like it was multigrain. Overall, I highly recommend. Ordering online is easy and pickup is a breeze. I didn't wait long at all. Food was also packaged really well and tasted good. The price of the meal was around $16 which, to me, is quite reasonable. Longhorn has excellent food for a reasonable price. I can get a large meal...including options like salmon or steak, with 2 sides and a drink for $20-$25, and with a loaf of wonderful bread. Last Wednesday I went to this Longhorn for lunch at 1pm. The baked potato was burnt and dry. Every time I have gone to this restaurant recently, the potatoes are like this. My initial review of this place approximately seven months ago, was very very generous with probably two extra stars on my first visit here with family. I would not recommend this steakhouse. I have been here. I think 4 times in the seven months I've lived in the area moving from the West Coast and it's just not a good steakhouse. Yes, I understand. It's not a Michelin rated steakhouse. It's a national chain, but they just have to do better in the service department and quality of the food and steaks that they bring to the table. Terrible experience. I'm furious. We sat down for 15 minutes and not a single server came by--not even to offer us water. I ordered my steak medium, but it came out medium well. In the end, the person who actually served us wasn't even our assigned server--it was a blonde lady who stepped in. Out of basic courtesy, I left a 10% tip, but honestly, you didn't deserve it. You should give it to that blonde lady. Our supposed server only came over after everything had already been handled by someone else, just to ask, "Everything ok?" She spent the entire time hovering around the large party nearby. If you only want to serve large parties, then tell your manager and let someone else take care of the small tables. We stopped here yesterday to celebrate a early anniversary. We ordered filet steaks and I must say they were the best I have had in awhile. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the meat was so tended you could cut it with a fork. The waitress was nice and service was good and prompt. The chef needs a raise!!! Alsoooooo the staff is generally very friendly and helpful!! I have no complaints on the food or staff service. My only disappointment is the service for online ordering and the cleanliness of the bathroom. I've tried ordering online and using curbside pickup twice. It just doesn't work out for me. The wait is always long and I end up going inside to get my food. Last night after waiting almost ten minutes I went in to use the ladies room and get my food and WHOA!!! The bathroom was atrocious!!! Not sure whose job it is to maintain the restrooms. But perhaps hire someone to be designated for that specific assignment? Stopped by for a quick lunch when I drove by. It's a pretty nice place. And it was packed during lunch hour. The service was very nice, and the food came pretty quick. The restroom was clean. Went for dinner Sunday night with my husband...the restaurant was busy but we were seated within 5 minutes. Our friendly server took our drink order quickly & brought us a loaf of hot bread & creamy butter - yum. I ordered the grilled lamb chops which came with garlic mashed potatoes & baby spinach while my husband had the cowboy pork chops which came with mac & cheese. We both got mixed greens salads with our meals. It took awhile for our salads to arrive & the server apologized for that. We enjoyed the food & atmosphere. First, I walked in and I was completely ignored by someone who looked to be working the bar while another person was taking care of to go orders. Another customer walked up to the bar and the lady doing the to go orders took care of me right after she was done and even waited on the new customer. Very tough steak Went for dinner and split an order of steak and half order ribs. The ribs were pretty juicy and tender however the steak was very tough and had a lot of gristle in it. I would rather pay more money and have a real steak. Service was good. Terrible beer selection. It's a lot less noisy than it used to be which is a plus. We have visited the LongHorn in West Chester, Ohio, several times and have been very happy with that restaurant. We decided to visit this one as it is a little closer to home. Overall, it was a good evening with friends, but several aspects left us feeling a little disappointed. Upon entering, the manager was a little too enthusiastic. I know that sounds strange, but it was as if he was trying just a little too hard to be friendly ... to the point of it being slightly uncomfortable. Even when he came by our table later to check on our meal, it was a little uncomfortable. Our waitress,Dana, seemed to be very flustered with how busy she was, even though the overall restaurant didn't appear to be crowded. She made a mistake on the drink order, shorted us on a straw, and never mentioned any of the specials. When asked about a particular steak, she honestly stated that she had never had it before, but then went on to make comments that were strangely negative, like it was her expectation that we would not actually like our meal. She didn't appear to represent the restaurant very well. The food was pretty good. Everyone else at the table had steak and was happy with it. I had a full rack of ribs and they were not near as good as I have had before. They were pretty dry and somewhat tasteless. That is what I get for not ordering a steak! Our friends ordered the porterhouse for two and I was, to be honest, a little jealous. It looked great and they enjoyed it. At the end of the meal, Dana never asked about dessert and just brought us our check and thanked us. She was nice enough, but we seemed like an inconvenience to her. She pulled up a chair and sat down and shot the breeze with the table next to us, which seemed a little unprofessional. To make matters worse, she was more than happy to go through all the specials and offer all kinds of recommendations to the table on the other side of us. As we left the restaurant the staff was extremely pleasant and went the extra effort to welcome us back. As we walked out, Dana was sitting in her car, which was parked in the very first parking spot by the door, smoking a cigarette. Again, it seemed like such an unprofessional way to act and we were very much taken back by our experience with her. I am sure that with one of the other servers, or maybe on a better night for Dana, I would have rated the experience higher. Overall the experience was good. The server was very nice and attentive! The food was really delicious but there was a problem. The steak that I had ordered was the porterhouse and I ordered it medium rare but more on the rare side. It came out well done, no biggie. I asked to have it redone. They then came out with a second steak, a half hour later, and it was well done as well. The server apologized immediately and took it back. Then the manager came out for the last steak and finally it was cooked perfectly. They then gave me the steak for free and a desert to take home. The overall experience was redeemed by these actions but it did make the night a lot longer than we had expected to be out and my girlfriend had to wait after she had already eaten her meal while I sat waiting for mine. But it was tasty and they were very nice to give us money off and a desert. Would give them a second chance just for these actions. read more
