Solid meal. Service was excellent - responsive, attentive, and accommodating. Constant refill of drinks, water, etc. Ambiance was as expected though the entire restaurant was cold given the recent snow storms and Frigid temps outside. Half the restaurant had their coats on through the entire meal. Food wise, everyone was happy with what they ordered. That's one of the highlights of this place - that it is predictable and consistent. I do appreciate the flexibility on customization and changes to sides. French onion soup was surprisingly good. One of our party got the shrimp and lobster chowder which she loved. Bread always comes out fresh and warm. My shrimp were well cooked but almost too salty. Broccoli slightly overdone so it was near squishy. Fries were great. Lots of sweet potato's and baked potato's in our group - all were devoured. There was a mistake/oversight on our order which the server remedied proactively so that was excellent. If i could give 3.5 stars I would. Tony, Noel with our grandbaby Calliope & I went to have dinner. The restaurant was full on this particular Sunday afternoon. Tony and Noel both at the $24.95 Steak with Grilled Shrimp Combo dinner. Noel added the mushrooms! Both had baked Potatoes and Noel had Grilled street corn and Tony had a salad! Calliope and I shared the Chicken tenders with Mashed Potatoes and Mac 'n Cheese which Calliope absolutely loved! Our waitress was very friendly! She checked on us regularly! Here is my issue....bad enough that there is a pay at the table now, how lazy are restaurants getting??? So, I used a gift card, and attempted to put remaining amount on my credit card. "I'm sorry, we aren't accepting credit or debit card payments at this time." HUH? I literally had to use Apple Pay because there WAS NO OTHER OPTION. Visiting from Virginia. The restaurant is fairly new, so the place is clean, the decor is modern. Great ambience on par with other similar establishments. It was my husband and myself, as well as my adult son and his wife. We were on separate checks. They brought out bread. I understand it's an artisan bread, but it was extremely hard and nearly impossible to cut. No amount of butter made this bread edible. We ordered the mushroom appetizer. It had terrific flavor, but the cheese seemed dried on; almost as if it had been sitting for awhile. My husband and I split the chicken tenders meal. We added an 8 piece shrimp skewer, had asparagus, and a cup of potato soup (for an up charge) as our sides. I ordered an iced tea, he had water. They honored our military discount. However, for one appetizer, one non alcoholic beverage, an entree with an added shrimp skewer and 2 sides, it was still $45! That's after the discount. The food was overall okay. The soup and asparagus were great. My husband enjoyed the tenders. My shrimp was heavily salted, and I love salt. But it was even too salty for me. My son enjoyed his meal, but my daughter in law, who also ordered the shrimp with asparagus, and potato soup, had the same issue with somebody in the back being heavy handed with the salt. In the end, $45 for one iced tea, some stuffed mushrooms, chicken tenders, 8 shrimp, asparagus, and a cup (not a bowl) of potato soup is a bit much. Worst of all, service was a bit intrusive by our waitress Emma P, and she offended us by requesting our signed copies of our checks before we were even done eating (my son was still working on his steak), because she said that she had "a job interview that she was late for!" Absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional behavior. I can't believe that she had the audacity to say that to customers. I wanted to take my tip off after that, but she'd already swiped it up and left. We dined on Tuesday, just 5 days before Christmas, and this was our Christmas dinner with our children. I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend. Management should have been rotating around doing quality control. But nobody cared to ask how our food or service was. We were rushed out so that our waitress could go to another job interview. We waited 35 mins for a table. We had 6 adults one child 4yr old. They put us on a tiny 6 top table. One adult had to hold the child. It was ridiculous. The server acted like we were a pain and inconvenience. My steak was suppose to be med well it was rare. One adult had the burger it was raw in the middle. I will never go back there. read more

Obviously you're paying more than your average steakhouse but it's worth a tender steak to me. We've never once had a rude waiter/ress and the ambiance is just how you would expect--western theme.
