Delicious food and friendly staff and. Love the decor and fairly quiet. Prices were ok and our whole group was happy with the food.

Visiting from Virginia. The restaurant is fairly new, so the place is clean, the decor is modern. Great ambience on par with other similar establishments. It was my husband and myself, as well as my adult son and his wife. We were on separate checks. They brought out bread. I understand it's an artisan bread, but it was extremely hard and nearly impossible to cut. No amount of butter made this bread edible. We ordered the mushroom appetizer. It had terrific flavor, but the cheese seemed dried on; almost as if it had been sitting for awhile. My husband and I split the chicken tenders meal. We added an 8 piece shrimp skewer, had asparagus, and a cup of potato soup (for an up charge) as our sides. I ordered an iced tea, he had water. They honored our military discount. However, for one appetizer, one non alcoholic beverage, an entree with an added shrimp skewer and 2 sides, it was still $45! That's after the discount. The food was overall okay. The soup and asparagus were great. My husband enjoyed the tenders. My shrimp was heavily salted, and I love salt. But it was even too salty for me. My son enjoyed his meal, but my daughter in law, who also ordered the shrimp with asparagus, and potato soup, had the same issue with somebody in the back being heavy handed with the salt. In the end, $45 for one iced tea, some stuffed mushrooms, chicken tenders, 8 shrimp, asparagus, and a cup (not a bowl) of potato soup is a bit much. Worst of all, service was a bit intrusive by our waitress Emma P, and she offended us by requesting our signed copies of our checks before we were even done eating (my son was still working on his steak), because she said that she had "a job interview that she was late for!" Absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional behavior. I can't believe that she had the audacity to say that to customers. I wanted to take my tip off after that, but she'd already swiped it up and left. We dined on Tuesday, just 5 days before Christmas, and this was our Christmas dinner with our children. I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend. Management should have been rotating around doing quality control. But nobody cared to ask how our food or service was. We were rushed out so that our waitress could go to another job interview. This is what you can expect from this Longhorns location.

I had the perfect dinner. This was our second time here since they open and it was great. I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken with fire grilled corn on cob. The chicken was so moist and tender ohhh my. Plus tried their spicy chicken bites are flavored just right.

It seems to not know what it wants to be. Is it a pub? Is it a sports bar? Overall clean and comfortable. We were there for lunch and it was fairly busy and VERY loud. Definitely people talking at "bar" levels. The menu is a smallish sandwich focused spread. We had a Rueben and a NET Burger. Both were large and as stated average. The strange thing is sandwiches do not come with anything on the side. Just a sandwich on a plate. No chips, no fries, no pickle spear. Just a sandwich. We did order onion rings as a appetizer they were pretty good, butI just found it odd the way our sandwiches were presented , and odder that our server never mentioned this. When talking about service, this is the one place that is not average. It is below average It was semi busy, but our server was often missing in action. Aside from the not mentioning the no accompaniment to sandwiches, she disappeared for 20 minutes as we were awaiting our check to leave. We actually had to ask a different server for our check. Over all service was poor, food and facilities were just OK-ish. Probably would not return. Based on observations locals love this place, but our visit was lackluster

I've actually become pretty fond of Filipino food thanks to a good friend who cooks it regularly, so I was excited--but admittedly a little skeptical about what I was going to find in Parkersburg. Then I walked in, saw the Filipino owner and an all-Filipino staff, and immediately thought... okay, I'm in good hands. And I was right. The food was excellent. The pork adobo? The pancit? The lumpia? Absolutely hit the mark. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and tasted like someone actually cared about what was coming out of that kitchen. And the owner deserves a shoutout. She is an absolute ball of energy and incredibly sweet. The kind of person who makes you feel welcome the second you walk through the door. I'm pretty sure you could drive 20 miles in either direction and struggle to find food this flavorful. Parkersburg has an unexpected hidden gem on its hands. If you're anywhere remotely close, Philippines Best is worth the stop.

The pork adobo was the star of the show- the pork itself was insanely flavorful and fall-apart tender. The sauce was flavored just right, and it went perfectly with the rice! The only slight disappointment was the lumpia- it had only beef in it, instead of meat and vegetables as my husband and I were used to, so it was quite dry. Thankfully, the slightly spicy sauce on the side helped a lot with that! I cannot speak to the service since our order was takeout, but I would love to eat in-restaurant next time around.
