Good food. Usually get in pretty fast. I love the steaks. Very friendly people. I love the atmosphere.

We were both starving after the horrible breakfast we had earlier today. Decided to go to get a steak. Had a few blue Hawaiians. Started with spinach artichoke dip and some amazing hot sweet rolls. Then had a New York strip - loaded mashed potatoes and corn and they we're all hot and perfect. My friend got a beer - sirloin steak with grilled shrimp and a salad. Everything was delicious. I was in on 11/20, at about 5:15. We sat at the bar. Service was ok, the bartender was covering a large area. Our orders took quite a while to get out-my steak was over cooked (I asked for Med rare) & everything was barely warm. We made it in well before the dinner rush. We were quoted a wait time, after that time had doubled we finally found an open seat at the bar. We should have been alerted by the 3 complaints while we were waiting. However we sat down. After 45 minutes we finally had our drinks. We had to go get our own menus, also had to go ask for rolls, then we had to go find silverware. My wife ordered water and she noticed some dried food on her glass, when she asked for a new glass the bar tender told us the dishwasher had been broken and they must not have gotten all the dirty glasses out of use yet. Then when my food arrived the steak was supposed to be medium, it was charred black and tough as a rock. After watching me try to eat this for about 10 minutes the manager came to tell my wife they didn't even have what she had ordered. They asked if she wanted something else. Reasonable place. Normal food, rib eye was a bit tough but taste was good. Baked sweet potato was the size of a small football, taste was good, I feel like it would be hard to mess that up. I treated a friend to a birthday visit with Logan's in Vienna, WV. I do not know the shift of the greeter, Tony, however if you get a chance ask for him. From the moment we came through the door we were treated as familiar, and cherished friends...not guests, not clients instead as life long friends. His cheerful greeting, our request for a quiet area (we are both introverts) to his serving our perfectly cooked meal - no mean feat to a foodie, he truly made us feel special and welcome. The pièce de résistance, he paid for my friend's dessert on her birthday! Could I have had a take-away container for this amazing employee I would have asked! Downside, the actual waitress, who's name I can not remember, mixed up our salad, did not check back to see if we needed anything, offer more tea or water, *rounded UP* cheque (she did say so, she had no change being the explaination,) etc. We were there during early afternoon, around 2:30 so no excuse. I haven't been too Logan in probably a good year so I convenienced my friends to go this past Thursday. We decided to sit at the bar but that was a bad idea. Getting drinks took forever. I was shocked I was even offered a refill after my mug was empty for nearly 8 minutes. We did order food after about 20 minutes of sitting their and the food was really good. I've just never seen a bartender not being friendly or able to deal with 8 total guests at the bar and the few drink orders that came in from the tables. Service was good food not so much. We went to Logan's for my birthday dinner. I had the chicken parm that was on the seasonal menu. The chicken was good but I think the sauce came from a jar. My husband had the 16oz ribeye. He ordered it medium and it came out bloody. It was not seasoned at all, rubbery and no taste. We complained to the manager who shrugged his shoulders and seemed unconcerned. We will not be going back. read more

Well it started out my glass had dried food on it then the food came... The coleslaw was horrible and the fish was horrible

Well we have tried a few different times and have given up. Yesterday (6pm) we were seated in the bar area where an overworked bar tender was having to wait on the patrons at the bar as well as tables. This proved to be exhausting to watch. No one to assist her... yet plenty of staff around to chit chat with each other. Bread had to be requested....The food runner (long blonde hair and zero personality) dropped off our food but took off just as quickly (which was pretty rude). Our drinks were empty most the time yet plenty of staff passed us. What was going on? I thought servers looked out for each other? Why was the bar tender having to wait on us when she also had patrons at the bar and drinks to fill for the entire restaurant? So let's touch on the food shall we? Loaded sweet potato lacked everything ... dry as a bone with a few disintegrated marshmallows on the plate. The ribs were dry and over done. So why go back? The last trip we will make. This restaurant needs to look at how places like OUTBACK train their staff and cook their food. read more

I always eat at Logan's in Parkersburg! I've never ever have had a problem with the food. There service is amazing and great food. But tonight was not the night. I am not sure if they where understaffed or what. I was seated at a dirty table and the service goes down from here. My mother got a lemonade that took 15+ minutes to review after I already got my drinks. I asked for a 6 oz sirloin with mashed potatoes cooked medium rare and my mom got the same thing except cooked medium with a baked potato and added a side of Bourbon butter. Are food took normal as expected to mention it wasn't that busy. Are food comes out by a cook. My moms did not come with her bourbon butter. Her steak was so tiny and nothing but hard fat and couldn't cut through. Mine on the other hand completely RAW. It took server 15 minutes to come and check on us to see how are food was. I simply asked if they could throw it back on the grill. It still came out raw. Very unusual for that service and food. Usually an amazing fun place to eat with family. But didnt get a single I'm sorry or we will get you another steak! read more

The best service in town . The whole staff is friendly. If you are lucky you will get Tracy as your server. Super service and wonderful friendly server never seen her on and off day. I eat here maybe twice a month . Never seen this server not happy friendly and always remembers me and speaks even when I am at one of her tables . The food is 90% of the time perfect . Food is good except as a steakhouse. The steak was rare when it was ordered medium. The hamburger was medium rare when it was ordered extra well done. Couldn't send it back as it was take out. The pork chops were good but luke warm. The buttermilk chicken was fried overdone in color and taste. Please make sure your staff packs cold products together and hot products separate from cold products. Butter melted to liquid and salads were warm. Went for birthday. Steaks were terrible. Both mine and my husband's had gristle. (Brought home for the dog & he probably won't eat it) I ate 3 bites of mine and should say part of 3 bites cause spit it out. Forgot our mozzarella sticks and brought them after meal arrived.
