Renegade Sirloin Steakhouse Mac & Cheese Signature Sides Loaded Idaho Baked Potato Sides
    Julie B.

You can't go wrong with this restaurant! We had a party of 7 and they seated us right away. Our waiter was top notch and the food was delicious. I ordered the renegade sirloin 6 oz with a baked potato and their signature mac and cheese. The steak was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. The sides were both really good as well. Everyone in our party loved the food. We'll definitely be back!

Steaks ordered rare and medium rare. Served medium well and well. The chicken and salads were good. Overall 73.19 bill, left 20.00 tip for server. If a "steakhouse" can't get steaks right... Please change name to Texas Salads and Chicken. Or Pennsyltucky Steakhouse "We over cook beef." Spoke to manager paid for everything. Staff shouldn't suffer because someone cannot grill. Note to line cook worry less about grill marks and more about plated food.

They've got a rotating draft list with a great mix of local beers and some from outside the area, plus whiskey and wine options. I went with a liter of the Kolsch, huge pour and absolutely delicious. For food, I had the smoked turkey, and it was outstanding, perfectly done. We also shared the poutine, which was a little different than what you might expect, but seriously good. Everyone at the table loved what they ordered. We grabbed dessert to go, and I had the pecan pie, wow. Just incredible. The waitstaff was friendly, on the ball, and did an outstanding job--service really stood out. This place is off-the-hook good. Can't wait to come back. Cheers

Flavorful, juicy, and with a little char from being thrown back on the grill. Great fries too. Bbq baked beans were pretty good. Plenty of seating, inside and out. Real glassware and utensils, and of course a very "casual ambience" Service was ok. They were nice, busy, and slow to return for support, or order taking. Overall the food was just ok for me. For bbq, there was no smoke detected. No ring, no smoke flavor. Ribs were fall off the bone and moist. Pulled pork and brisket weren't dried out, just lacked flavor and I wasn't a fan of the sauces. Turkey was good. Pulled chicken was juicy with a heavy paprika flavor. Would I come back? Sure. A beer and that sausage, maybe with a side of baked beans or some fries!! An unsauced rack of ribs would do the trick too.

We were told it was going to be ready in 15/20 mins and as soon as we pulled up it was being bagged We got their alligator fritters, beef empanadas, gator tacos and an oreo cream funnel cake. Y'all everything was so good. My fiancée absolutely loved his gator fritters and devoured them. The beef empanadas were filled with beef, corn and cheese. They were so good and loved the seasoning on the empanada. The gator tacos were the perfect size, the gator had a nice crunch and the slaw added another level to the taco. The funnel cake hit the spot. Cannot wait to check out their new location when it opens and both of us agreed that we will be back.

Street parking available. This is more of a takeout place but there are tables inside. Now for the food! My coworker and I had chicken tacos, the gator po boy, and the chicken and funnel cake. The chicken tacos were on special for taco tuesday so they were $2 each which was a great price. They were filled with chicken and toppings but the meat was a little dry, and I think a sauce, like a chipotle mayo or something, could really make these pop! These were our least favorite part of lunch, but they were still good, I really liked the salsa. I used to work at a southern restaurant that served gator sandwiches, so I was super happy to see alligator on the menu! The gator po boy was delicious! It came with a spicy mayo. The gator bites were seasoned well and the bun was super soft and fresh. I wasn't crazy about the chips that came with it though. The chicken and funnel cake was the standout- think chicken and waffles but better! The chicken was awesome and the funnel cake was super sweet! I wish it came with like a spicy syrup or something. Nonetheless, everything was delicious and I will definitely be back, this is an awesome addition to downtown Washington!!!
