I can't believe I had not been to this cute diner that we pass by often on the main drag in Sequim! It was more spacious inside than I realized and It has the 50s style nailed. Both booths or counter service available, a great menu with broiled burgers, breakfast served all day and even prime rib dinner specials or ect on certain evenings. The milkshake and malt offerings are legit! We stopped in at lunch and were greeted with kind service. We had bacon blue cheese burgers that were seriously some of the best Ive had in a long time, like since before the pandemic! I liked that they didn't blink when we asked for all the condiments, real hienz ketchup here, dijon mustard, ect.. burgers were even topped with crunchy onion straws! I was hoping for more 'old fashioned' prices thou, however, the price was still better than most as the burgers included unlimited fries. (ave about $17 depending which toppings ya get) Also, the burgers blow all others out of the water in Sequim. so priced accordingly. I was impressed! We'll be back. Only thing is you'll need to stop out to Peninsula taproom-or barhop for a beer, this is a maltshop! So we shared an incredible chocolate malt shake, order one per couple is perfect. Yum!!

Great diner in Sequim, Washington. Passing through town visiting family and asked a local for a suggestion and was directed to this great 50s style diner. Service was friendly and fast. Food was nicely portioned and delicious. Family ordered the Halibut fish and chips (I subbed fries for vegetable of day) meal also came with soup or salad, so I chose their award winning clam chowder. Fish was cooked perfectly and super meaty. My nephews ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and Blue Moon burger, both came with fries. Burger had great flavor combo with jalapeños, bacon and different cheeses. My sister got the French toast with bacon and eggs. And had to try the chocolate shake. Definitely recommend it if in the area.

Hard to know if it's a three or four at this diner. I've been coming to this diner on and off since it first opened decades ago. They still do not have any nondairy milk and very little for a plant-based eater. You can get the snow call me falls oatmeal. We exchanged raisins for blueberries thank you. OK. Prices have gone up like a lot of things in Sequim. They make a fresh Belgium waffle which I used to really enjoy before I went fully vegan Definitely a step back to Happy Days diner

If you are looking for a place to relive the 1950-60 era, this is the place to go. Retro Decor all around. The music will take you back in time. BUT the best meal I had there was the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Onion Rings. I tried many other dishes but they were just so-so. The best thing about the Meat Loaf Special is the REAL potatoes and gravy. The milk shakes and malts are worth having. Service was AMAZING. But do not expect gourmet meals.

I had the chicken fried steak. Steak was so tough as to be uneatable. Service was fine, as was the ambiance. Elvis theme.

She made reservations and chose outdoors, not realizing it would be so cold, so I was freezing in my cotton dress. When I asked if they had any heaters, they kindly offered blankets so I took two and bundled myself up. For the amuse bouche, we got a radish with baba ghanoush and some sort of blackberry balsamic. For the first course, I got shishito peppers with baba ghanoush. The peppers weren't too spicy and paired well with the baba ghanoush. It's not something I would have probably sought out to eat myself so it was nice to have something different. For the main course, I got a shiitake, oyster mushroom rice noodle curry. This was surprisingly filling to the point that I had to waste some of the rice noodles. For dessert, I got a pear ginger blackberry fruit crisp. It was nice that you could taste that it wasn't made with a bunch of added sugar or anything. My friend got the other vegan dessert which was a coconut tapioca pudding, which I also tried, and was nice and light and tart, with some figs at the top. Service was great. Our server asked right off the bat about dietary restrictions so I told her vegan, no honey for myself. There was a very long gap between course 1 and course 2 which may have led to me getting full earlier than anticipated, and then the gap between the entree and dessert wasn't as vast. Our entire dinner took about two hours at Nourish, 7-9pm, which is longer than we expected, but the food was a pleasant experience. As a vegan, a little more protein was top of mind when reading the menu, but I love that they created good vegetable based dishes without any mock meats or excess sodium or processed ingredients. My friend also really enjoyed her food. Priced at $78 per person, it's a nice night out. We recommend.

The food was all very good and well-prepared. I had duck and it was some of the best duck that I've had in a restaurant aside from Peking duck in a couple very specific Cantonese restaurants. They also have tons of options for people with different dietary needs. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. I also really enjoyed the patio environment. I will definitely come back here next time I'm on the peninsula.

We started out with well prepared and balanced cocktails. For our main course, I ordered steak frites and my wife ordered fritters and a summer salad. The steak frites were great - cooked perfectly and I loved the miso kimchi butter and the base of greens. The fritters were hearty and spicy and the salad was a great balance of fruit and greens We ended our meal with the flourless chocolate cake - delicious and a great portion size. I do recommend reservations we got there right when the they opened and was able to enjoy a three course meal over a period of 3 1/2 hours which I know may sound like a lot of time but the menu is laid out so beautiful and with the specials to review we needed time to decide exactly what we were going to immerse our taste buds in. Libby was our server, so very attentive and patient. I wish every time I had services in this manner every time we dine out. Everything was paired perfectly in my lasagna, the sourdough bread was divine. You could definitely tell it was homemade. My weekend getaway partner in crime had a pizza which she told me later was the most delicious she has ever eaten. We eat a lot a pizza LOL! The drinks are made incredibly balanced. The mashed potatoes oh my gosh, what can I say? Heaven on a plate and the little crispy onion strings were not greasy didn't leave a bad taste. They were the best crispy onion strings ever hands-down. That could've just been my dinner by itself with the bread. I would've been satisfied. I was so excited to have the cheesecake because there was no crust which means I didn't have to have concerns about stomach issues or allergies and the very on top was perfectly with it. It wasn't overly sweet like I've had before. It was nice and firm and you could definitely tell that the food is made with love and time and consideration. The restaurant is clean. The bathroom is clean and well attentive too. We sat in the garden, which was a beautiful experience. The weather was just right. Thank you for taking the time to read my review as always please be safe out there and I'll see you all at my next bite *=*

I was starving and asked for bread out quick which they accommodated despite it not being on the menu as an app. We had a little lag for our food, but they were slammed busy, not a single spot open at the bar or the tables. After a first attempt where a restaurant's hours were not updated, we found Stymie's in Sequim. It's one of the restaurants at Cedars at Dungeness golf course (the other one is Double Eagle Steak and Seafood). It seems to be the more casual of the two options and we opted for it since we were in hiking clothes. The hostess told us we could walk in and try to find a table. She warned us it might be a long wait. Thankfully, we found a place to sit right away and a waiter gave us waters and a menu. We ordered cups of clam chowder to start. Thankfully they were out quickly. We got drinks while we waited for our food. The Dungeness crab Mac and cheese was listed as an appetizer, so we assumed it was a small portion. My husband got the fish and chips and I got pasta with shrimp. We got our entrees first, so we thought maybe the waitress had forgotten we ordered the Mac and cheese since they were so busy. She then apologized for the wait and said she'd be bringing it out shortly. We weren't planning on asking about it because their portions are very generous and even though we were hungry, we realized it was so much food. When the Dungeness crab Mac and cheese finally came out, it wasn't in a small cup, it was a whole bowl of delicious goodness. The Mac and cheese was resting in some sort of sauce and they were extremely generous with the crab. I loved that you could control the ratio with each bite. I wish I had taken pictures of the menu and its description, but all you need to know is that it's the BEST Mac and cheese I've ever had. I was floored that it wasn't mentioned in any review nor pictures. Maybe it's a new addition. Don't walk, RUN if you're nearby. You won't regret it and it will be worth the wait. I forgot all about my entree and just focused on the Mac.
