The food was so far beyond what I expected. All of the ingredients are prepared by the chef including their sausages and even their pastrami. My wife absolutely loved her spinach salad and my pastrami on rye was so tender and juicy. The staff is very nice and helped us make our decisions on the food. They have a nice small place with some of the most beautiful outdoor seating I've ever seen. We ate inside as it was raining that day. I can not recommend this place highly enough. Tasty food at reasonable prices - we ate at their food stall set up at the Jardin du Soleil Lavender Farm and Gift Shop during Sequim Lavender Fest this weekend. We tried the lavender bratwurst ($10), crispy slow roasted pork ($15), lavender lemon swirl cheesecake ($8), and chorizo nachos ($15). The chorizo was a bit spicier than expected but was still polished off by our teen. Our tween left the sauerkraut untouched but finished off the rest of her bratwurst. My wife and I happily shared the crispy slow roasted pork - I enjoyed the perfectly cooked pork and peach compote on top, and she loved the polenta. Service was friendly and the prices reasonable. One of our favorite lunch spots in Sequim. Stopped in with five of us and ordered two large salads - the mixed greens and spinach - both were excellent. Then had two pizzas: the chuck one: barbecue chicken style, really good, and the pork one with pepperoni and sausage, also delicious. Lovely back patio with grassy area under a leafy tree and pretty flowers. Totally recommend. Service was super friendly and gracious too. Will be back! read more

What a treat! I was craving pizza and found this wonderful eatery right off 101 that has the BEST Pizza!!! (They had other selections including sandwiches if pizza is not your thing).Not only did the pizza taste delicious, the ingredients were all fresh and organic, and the crust was thin and the edges golden brown with the perfect amount of crunch. This is a neighborhood predominantly lunch entree style eatery in a converted house. Everything (almost) is made from scratch. They create their own "real" uncured bacon & ham sourced from local farms. the breads and sauces are "home made" as well. i had the ham sandwich yesterday, on homemade rye (normally not my choice) but it was really good. i got a taste of the trilogy pizza - so that's what i gave today. Stopped here for a late lunch after a backpacking trip in the nearby Buckhorn Wilderness. This was the perfect post hiking destination. I liked the whole atmosphere here: the homey, minimalist interior, the welcoming, shady outdoor dog friendly dining area and the friendly staff. I ordered a pizza with smoked chicken, arugula and goat cheese and it was phenomenal. Big enough to satisfy my post hike appetite, the crust was chewy and crispy: one of the best pizzas I've had in a while. The service was courteous and prompt considering how busy they were. I visited for lunch during one of my business trips. I ordered the Em- which in my haste I thought the menu description said Roasted Beef- in reality it was roasted BEETS . I took it as a sign that I really needed more vegetables that day. The sandwich was earthy, spicy, and delicious. I also ordered a cup of curried coconut soup which was lovely. I also got a side of chips, Perrier, and a tip and my lunch came to about $27. So it was on the pricey side. Spent the day in/around Sequim, as my (vegan) sister from Colorado is thinking of relocating here. A bit of a challenge on. Tuesday to find an open restaurant, especially with vegetarian/vegan options. So happy we found Pacific Pantry! Everything was incredibly delicious, and they had a very decent selection of beer as well. The owners were there, and, well ... We returned the following day as we had even fewer dining options. The owners weren't there, but we got photos this time. The difference was subtle, but the food, while still great, was not as superlative as before. Minor quibble. The only other reason I didn't give 5 stars was the outdoor dining area needs some TLC. There are blackberry vines that threaten to snag clothes, and weeds have completely overtaken was may have once been an herb garden. We stopped here on the way back to Seattle from a day excursion at Olympic National Park. The individual size pork-everything pizza was very good as the artisan chicken-salad. They also have a decent wine selection. Perfect place for good food to break up a 2.5 hour drive. I would return if it was near me. read more

I had the special, Crispy Pork Biscuits. Basically, two open-face pork sandwiches on biscuits topped with a combination of marinated? mustard, onion & potato? Not sure but it was exquisitely delicious. I have to admit that after the first bite I was like, "Ya, this is okay." But with each bite it seemed to get better and better. Found a new favorite....we have driven by many times over the last year and a half, and every time said we should stop there. Well we finally stopped and my only disappointment is that we didn't come here first. It was a beautiful meal. We got a pastrami sandwich with sauerkraut made in-house and pastrami that was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned.... it was delicious. We got the potato salad side and it was a perfectly balanced potato salad. We also got a pizza, it was named the Chuck. It had bbq sauce, chicken, bacon, red onion, peppers. The crust was a perfect crust with the right amount of bite for a pizza dough, and no flavor overrode another. We will be back and we will tell everyone. read more

After touring the lavender farms we drive through Sequim looking for a something to eat and drove by this deli. We had to turn around because this gem is in a converted house and we weren't sure if it was open during the covid. Lucky for us it was! Masked up and went inside. Ordered the pastrami on rye and a slice of creamy decadent cheesecake. This was one of the BEST sandwiches I've ever eaten!The pastrami was melt in your mouth perfection! Smoked and seasoned perfectly and served with a delicious sauerkraut that was simply divine on perfectly toasted marbled rye bread. The balance of flavors are exceptional! The sauerkraut gives just the right among of crunch and briny bite and does not over power the pastrami. If you are looking for New York deli chewy pastrami this is not the place. If you are looking for a pastrami experience order this sandwich. My only regret, I didn't order 2! Looks like We'll be taking a trip back up to Sequim this weekend. YES! OMG. We were starving out at Lavender Festival so we stopped at their tent at Jardin du Soleil. Omg. We expect pretty mediocre food at these things so the bar was pretty low, although I don't want you to think my review is inflated due to that. Both of the booth workers were friendly and attentive, with a good sense of humor and quick, attentive service. (Not the case for many other festival workers we ran into, ahem.) We ordered several different menu items and drinks for our large party. I watched the person cooking and he really put love into all the details, so these simple dishes came out with that IDK that makes it so much better than you'd think. Everything that was supposed to be hot was hot, and everything that was supposed to be cold was cold. The flavors were amazing but not overpowering. The presentation was casual, just right for the occasion, not fussy or messy to eat. Can't wait to come back on a regular day and see what else they have to offer. read more

DON'T ORDER A SALAD! Overall our food was delicious. They seem to specialize in cured/smoked meats, and the chicken salad sandwich and pulled pork sandwich were both excellent. The carrot soup was a welcome dose of vitamins but pretty forgettable. What was not forgettable was the big, fat, live, gray spider I encountered at the bottom of my beet salad! I actually scooped it up on my fork and was about to bite before I saw it start trying to escape. The salad had a base of local greens, with a beet/hazelnut/cheese topping, which was all very tasty, but not worth a critter encounter. They did not seem very surprised about the spider, just told me that they wash all the greens on arrival, so I wasn't left with a lot of confidence that this won't happen again. read more

I went here twice during my last trip to Sequim. We've been coming to Sequim as a family for 20 years and this was the first time i'd tried Pacific Pantry. First trip there I had the Confit Chicken Salad sandwich and although it's pretty spendy ($10) for a regular sandwich, it's one of the best chicken salad sandwiches I've ever had. Just sensational. Second trip we had the chicken salad sandwich again (duh) and also tried the Thai Pie, which was a Thai/curry pizza. The menu is small and allows for a mastery by the chef. We tried the pulled bbq pork sandwich with slaw and the roasted beet salad. The bun for the burger was home made and FRESH! The pork was plentiful with a nice tang for the slaw. The sandwich had plenty of pork and came with a cup of home made potato salad. The salad was crunchy with a light zip - awesome taste and texture. The roared beer salad could have done for more beers but the greens and dressing made up for the smaller amount of beets. Friends tried the Thai pie and felt is was good! The pie included sweet potatoes which lent a slight sweet flavor to the curry. The other dish was a roasted beer sandwich. We stopped for the lavender festival and found this amazing restaurant. I had the confit chicken salad sandwich on the foccocia with the potato salad for the side. It was the most beautiful sandwich I have had in a long time. The bread was light and airy; the chicken was perfectly cooked and falling apart; the walnuts and cranberries were incredible support. (I am not a fan of either and will not eat them by my own will) As for the service, you could tell the servers love their job and where they work. They were so helpful, kind, and appreciative.
