Everything is perfect. The atmosphere, the cozy intimate size of the space. The buzz of locals, and visitors happy with just being there. The food is outstanding. We had the breakfast tacos. Beautifully tender and warmed tortillas, with perfectly crispy and seasoned potatoes cheesy eggs, and smokey chorizo. The mango salsa was a great pairing to add just the right sweet, heat. The yogurt parfait wes worth the trip by itself. Freshly made yogurt and granola. Can't say enough but YUM. Full bar is just a big plus . The are very concerned to food sensitivities. We really enjoyed eating at Sunshine Cafe for the first time! We've heard a lot of great things from folks that visit Adagio coffee and we knew they were a sister restaurant. So glad that we were able to finally give it a try! Jon ordered a 3 egg scramble with cheddar cheese and chives but he had mushrooms and spinach added! So yummy! He also up charged the toast for fruit. I ordered a BIG BREAKFAST which is a sandwich with a square hash brown, cheese, burger patty and a fried egg on top. The aioli seemed like it was just mayo... and the bun was meh. So I ate everything in between the two buns and it was super yummy! I also uncharged and got fruit and they gave us yummy strawberry, blueberries and banana! Really enjoyed the fruit! Great meal! Very short wait for good and the waitress was very pleasant and quick to take order and give us our bill. read more

We had the most wonderful lunch at the Sunshine Cafe. I ordered the veggie burger. It was absolutely the best veggie burger that I ever had! My party also ordered the brisket sandwich which was also yummy (I stole a bite when my grandma looked away. My daughter loved the veggie sandwich. The fries were seasoned with rosemary/sage and were delicious. If you go there get the fries with your meal!! I can't wait to eat there again when I'm back in Sequim. read more

Great service. Freshly renovated. Well priced. Adagio, coffee, and delicious ripe avocado that I had on the side of my hashbrowns. We arrived early mid week, and it was quiet. If you arrive, when it's busy, the acoustics could be a little bit difficult. I wish there were more vegan options. The pricing was good. I wish I didn't smell the bacon as a vegan. It was pretty strong. We loved our waitress. She was fabulous. I definitely recommend this restaurant in Sequim. read more

Cozy little cafe in downtown Sequim. Great menu with some amazing choices. Food presentation was top notch. Great flavor profiles. The only thing that was a turn off was there were 2 servers, 2 cooks and a dishwasher and the call outs were so loud. I learned table numbers within 5 minutes, but every time an order was ready, all you heard was a loud "door" called out and guess where we sat, next to the door. read more

My be husband and I were off to a Costco run in Sequim and wanted to try somewhere new. We were so happy we found the Sunshine Cafe! Now only is it super cute with amazing service, the food was quality and fresh. I got a brisket hash and it was loaded with nice vegetables. We actually made little tacos out of my left overs later. Gosh it was amazing! We didn't even take photos of our plates because we dived in and didn't come up for air. We were in a hurry to catch a ferry (our faults) but the staff were quick and polite and quickly got our check and boxes (we didn't need them we ate it all so fast!). We had the chicken fried waffles with eggs SO GOOD. And then the burger everyone gets with fries.... The fries were delicious. My husband said "the best I've ever had." Jackie and crew provide the MOST excellent customer service! The food was absolutely a culinary treat!!! The garlic aioli with the garlic fries was incomparable! I could drink the aioli (hyperbole mine)! She recommended the Pear and Bacon Salad as "fire" and it truly was! Perfect balance of sweet and savory. The small space is decorated sparely but interesting all the same. It's an upbeat friendly place that I'm sure the locals enjoy. Stopped at this local cafe for lunch and loved it! Family owned and their personal touch is in all the menu items (from smoked brisket to home baked desserts). We had the Philly steak sandwich with garlic parm fries and the chicken Cobb salad. Both were AMAZING! Also, their ranch dressing is addictive. Stopped by for lunch before heading to the Game Farm. Food was delicious amazing flavor and good portions. Staff members are really nice. Service was as good as you are gonna get for a busy place but we'll worth it after eating their Gone banana French toast. Atmosphere is really good, cool country music playing in the background. We travel the country and rarely find such a true gem! There's good food out there and then there's great food! Sunshine Cafe is a step up from great! We were greeted with a smile and a welcome and immediately felt at home! I looked for liquor bottles to order a Bloody Mary but didn't see any so almost ordered a coffee! She pointed out the drink menu and lo and behold, there they were! I opted for the Peach Sunshine Tea and it was perfect! Hubby got the Bloody Mary! The menu is creative, I mean super creative!! Nothing is as it seems yet everything we tried was phenomenal! So packed with flavors and textures and cooked to perfection! I had the Carnitas Chilaquiles and was treated to the most tender pork and flavor packed sauce of my life!! Chips were fresh and just the right amount of cheese! Hubby had the meat loaf medallions and loved every bite, even had some to take home for later! Now, that cinnamon roll... it's EPIC!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars! We were so excited to eat at this restaurant. Due to upstairs remodeling it was closed. We moved here from Denver. There were 4 of us. Warmly greeted. Bloody Mary's were delicious. Came here for some breakfast on Sunday due to another nearby breakfast spot being closed on Sundays (weird?) and was not disappointed. We arrived at the perfect time (we got super lucky) as two tables were leaving and no one was in line. Two minutes later there was a wait out the door. (This was around 10am) I got an omelette and tumblers with fresh fruit and wheat bread, with an apple juice to drink. (Free refills on the juice!) Everything was cooked well and tasted great! There were only a few people working the front and they appeared to be working as a team since this small location was packed! They did a great job all things considered. Generous portions of the most delicious food. Service is very friendly and always quite prompt. Really cute restaurant in downtown Sequim. Very clean dining area and restrooms. We were seated right away and had the choice of breakfast or lunch at 11:00 on a Sunday.
