I went to Longo Lexus with my brother and his wife last weekend looking for used Lexus. At the end of the day, they bought their favorite car ( IS 250 ), because we always believe Lexus has the best quality and reliable for the long run. After having a horrible experience at Tustin Lexus I headed over to Longo hoping for better treatment. I immediately liked the laid back feel of the dealership and was greeted by Rony at the door. Rony is awesome! He's knowledgable but not pushy, calm, eager to help and had respect for my time.I told him that I was looking for an IS250 white with black interior and he told me they were out but they had a silver one in the garage. I had already been debating between silver and white so I wasn't settling. We took it for a test drive, got back to the lot and got to numbers. I was very appreciative that he didn't try to drag out the process. I was out of there in a little under 3 hours. I got a great deal with great service. Loved my visit to Longo Lexus. Went to get my key re programmed. A friend gave his old key. also my current and old key was acting up. Not detecting it even after i changed the battery. First I was met by Henry what a nice guy. He was helpful and so kind. Then I walked Into the most beautiful shop ever. Free coffee, water, cookies holy cow the mechanics shop was so clean and you can watch them work through beautiful glass windows. I had to take pictures to send to my fiancee. The guy who help me (unfortunately I can't remember his name because I was mesmerize by the place). Was helpful and kind. Was upfront about the fees. And told me he was sorry it would take 2 hours. I didn't mind waiting as it was so pleasant there. I watched the chew on a big screen TV and drank hot coffee and had a bottle water. I went to the parts department and the guy spent time looking up a part I needed and showed me exactly what I needed. He was so nice to. ( is everyone nice there)? In the end my new key couldn't get programmed. My original one wasn't acting up. So I walked out not paying a penny but my car was washed and they have a customer for life. Bring it in for first 1000 miles service on my 2014 lexus is350 .. after the service when out and my navigation screen black out .. when back to them ask what happen . I was supposed to write this long time ago mainly because I was super impressed with their customer service! I lived in San Diego at the time and visited several dealerships in SD to buy my car. They were not helpful and negligent with their follow up. So I decided to buy it from Longo as my family live close by. Do yourself a favor and ask for Sergio if you are buying. For starters, he is honest and down to earth. Not like those sales people who act like they got it all going on! I am super picky when I buy anything, I need to really check them out, the look, the feel, every simple detail and Sergio was very very very veryyyy patient with me :) (I am a girl, I am allowed to change my mind! lol ;) I checked several models, several colors and even put one on hold, then decided to check out some other dealerships (I mean it is a big investment, so why can't we really shop?) This review is for the Service Department. Out of all my experiences with car dealership service centers, I have had the best experience with Longo, particularly with my service advisor Francis. Francis makes the car servicing experience so personal and he provides the best client interactions. Not only does Francis take the time to get to know, he is extremely knowledgable and recommends what he thinks is right. He doesn't pressure you and always makes sure that I am happy with my service. He has gone above and beyond with my issues with my car and always ensures that the issue is resolved. I have never had any issue when reserving a loaner car and he always ensures that my car is washed and vacuumed before I get it back. That has been multiple times where my car wasn't washed completely and he personally drove my car to get it washed again. Francis is the only reason why I continue to get my car serviced at Longo. I have asked the quote from Cerritos and Crown Lexus, but Leo came up with the best quote. Moreover, unlike the other dealer Longo has the widest selections at large. Make sure you went to the ground parking lot to check all their inventory. They at least have 160 cars down there. One thing that I cant take is when a dealer said that we have the car but we have to get it transferred. That just mean you dont have it in-stock. That wasnt the case with Longo. If you need a nice luxurious car, come over and ask for Francis. He's one of the nicest guys, doesn't rush you on money decisions, and actually listens on what you want. My wife bought her second car and her car before was a g35. Test driving the Lexus is smooth and its nice and quiet, amenities, hmmmm, too many to go over. The manual for the ES 350 measured 4 inches thick. Lots of toys and features to read about. Make sure you come at the end of the month, holiday season is a plus, and making sure you do your homework and get quotes from online sites and other dealers. My wife just wanted to test drive the car again, but we left satisfied with a new car. I drove back home to get the check book, because i really didn't think i was going to buy a car today. Francis changed my mind, he seemed genuinely sincere, did the thing of back and forth with the manager "the dreaded haggle", but we had a set number in our head that we wouldn't go over. Let me start this by saying I have been loyal to Longo since 2007. I purchased my first car here, a 2007 ES350. My brand new car was making this weird clunking sound at certain intervals. This is the first instance where I have served as a guinea pig for improving the Lexus brand. After that major incident I didn't have any major issues with the car or the dealership. I was very pleased with the service that I received. Almost eight years later I'm ready to purchase another car. I was debating on getting an RX but I don't really like them. I heard about the NX many months ago. I started doing my research on this car and decided it was the car for me. I put myself on the Lexus FastTrack to find out all the info on this car. Fast forward to December 1st, 2014. I double check to make sure I'm still on the FastTrack since the vehicle was supposed to be out early Fall. I thought I would have been notified as soon as the car arrived but I was not. The internet sales department failed to mention this to me. I emailed George back and I noticed he avoided some of questions like "When did the car arrive and why wasn't I notified." Anyways, I set an appointment up to with Gorge Kantanto that very day to see the car. George was very patient. We went on two test drives, one for the turbo nx and one for the hybrid. I've always wanted a hybrid vehicle but I realize the lack power. George and I sat down and went over the numbers. I had done my research on the car so I knew what features I wanted, comfort package, luxury package, with illuminated door sills. My only decision was hybrid or not. George seemed very hesitant when I asked about cars on their way to the dealership. (I imagine this is because they'd rather sell what they have in stock. This was an ongoing issue). He told me about a white hybrid model that would arrive in a couple days. I did not want a white car since every car I owned has been white. I feel in love with the meteor mica blue color. I left George that night and told him I would be in contact with him soon, I needed to get my financing in order. Two days later I made an appointment with George to pick up a turbo model. I arrived at the dealership early since my GS was due for service. I surveyed some of my the service people that I trust and asked what model of nx I should get. I spend a lot of time in my car and much of that time is in traffic. I liked the idea of saving money on fuel but I wasn't thrilled about losing some power. That was the moment I made my decision to get a hybrid. I walked over to George and told him I wanted the hybrid model of that car. He said he didn't have it. At this point I felt that George completely lost interest in my business. Maybe he thought I was indecisive or wouldn't come through. He even had a copy of my pre-approval letter from my credit union. George said he would look into the car I wanted and that he'd email me later. I had an appointment with him but he was too busy dealing with another customer. I went and told one of the service managers what happened to me and he walked me over to Kevin Holley, sales manager. Kevin said I could leave a deposit for the car and they contact me when they found it. Kevin was able to search his database and he found two cars that fit my description but they were really far away. He also said it would be possible to change the allotment for the dealership so that my dream car could be redirected to this dealership. I was annoyed that George was never able to provide any of this information to me and he was too busy to take my deposit. I went back to speak with Kevin on my own and I had an extended wait time. I guess he was the only manager there and all of the sales people kept coming to him. He eventually paid me some attention and got a sales person to take my order. Unfortunately this salesperson had never taken an order before. I'm not sure if it did it correctly but he did manage to make an enlarged photocopy of my amex card. Kevin gave me his business card that night. I called Kevin a couple days later and no one returned my calls and I worried that the future hybrid model would not come with all the features. Ironically he calls me back today 12.29 after I submitted the online Lexus survey (they do check their feedback but I'm not sure how they are using this information to build a better brand) I panicked and purchased the white hybrid on 12.8.14 with Rony. (Rony will work for you, that's more than I can say for anyone other person I dealt with). Now the navigation system is acting up and the service department can't replicate it so they won't fix it, even after racking up 40+ miles on my car and asking me if the service guy could take it home. So I have the car but I'm sort of regretting my choice of car and dealership. I wasn't given an opportunity to get what I really wanted.
