    Update and response to Kary (Business manager)- Thank you for your response. I would like to clarify that my review was based on my actual experience and was not fabricated in any way. While some of the specific numbers or details may not have been recalled with perfect precision, the substance of my review is truthful and accurately reflects my experience at your dealership. Your response indicated that you were unable to locate any corresponding interaction, I am happy to provide additional information. I was there on Saturday, May 23, 2026...arriving at 4:25pm. The gentleman I referred to when I first arrived--the one who pointed toward the vehicles and simply told me to look around--was Sam Halawai. The sales associate who assisted me afterward and informed me that there was nothing available within my budget because the least expensive vehicle was approximately $28,000 was Bryan Garcia. I find it disappointing that, rather than addressing the feedback itself, your response appears to question whether the experience occurred. The inability to locate a record does not mean the interaction did not happen. At this point, I do not feel the need to spend additional time discussing the matter by phone. I shared my review to provide honest feedback based on my experience. My hope is that the dealership views this as a learning opportunity and evaluates its customer service practices so that future customers receive a more welcoming and helpful experience. I have since purchased my Honda elsewhere and am very happy with my decision. I wish your team the best.

    Love this dealership on how they believe in selling their cars at MRSP and no markup compared to other dealerships. I worked with Shawn Castillo on buying a new Toyota Camry. I scheduled an appointment with him and he was very welcoming and answered all my questions. Being a previous Lexus owner, I wanted a car similar in look and color, Shawn answered all my questions and was super transparent the whole time. Although they didn't have the specific model I wanted at the dealership to test drive. He still brought out a similar car to show. I ended up reserving the exact car I wanted, a Heavy Metal with Metallic Black roof Toyota Camry XSE premium package with red interior. Shawn was very communicative on text and would highly recommend working with him on your deal. As for the dealership, its huge with Lexus on one side and Toyota on the other. They have your service, parts, used and new cars sales and more just like any dealership just bigger. There's a Starbucks inside and waiting area if you wanted to stick around. Will be back for service or recommending family members to come back.

    We purchased our daughter's first car today. We were helped out by Fred on Saturday and Rosie on Sunday, the day we actually took the car home. Service was excellent. Rosie was very attentive and answered all our questions, as did Fred. This is the 2nd car we've purchased from Longo and we plan on returning should we need another car in the future.

    Longo Toyota is a high volume model. The pricing is transparent so no headaches with haggling. The process of buying a car is efficient. Robert Castillo helped me will all my questions about price, upgrades, and the extended warranty. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle's features and I was even allowed to test drive it on the freeway. Longo Toyota offers a painless experience for what can be very stressful process. There is even a Starbucks and Subway in the dealership. It is worth the drive from LA to get a nice car and have peace of mind that it is fairly priced.

    I wanted to share my experience because this was honestly one of the best car-buying experiences I've ever had. Even though I work in the dealership business, I've always dreaded buying a car myself due to past experiences--both from working in the industry and as a customer. Historically, I've stuck with Hyundai or Kia, partly because of my Korean background and wanting to support those brands. But this time, after doing extensive research, I decided to go with a Toyota Camry SE. From start to finish, Mike Hao made the entire process incredibly smooth. He was understanding of my financial situation as a full-time single dad with a special needs son, and the entire Longo staff was very accommodating--especially with my son, who was excitedly jumping in and out of the showroom cars. In just about two hours, I was able to complete everything--from trade-in to final paperwork--with zero stress. There was no high-pressure sales environment, no uncomfortable finance office experience, and no pushy upselling. I was simply presented with options like GAP and extended warranty, and I chose what made sense for me without any pressure. I had always heard that Longo Toyota was one of the best, and now I understand why. Mike Hao and the Internet Department truly delivered an exceptional experience. It's also worth mentioning that I live in Victorville and made the drive to El Monte specifically because of the strong recommendations from family and friends--and it was absolutely worth it. I will definitely return for my next purchase and will be referring others as well. Thank you, Mike. Thank you, Longo Toyota.

    BEST EXPERIENCE. BEST DEAL. ASK FOR MICHAEL NGUYEN. Buying a car can be stressful, but Michael Nguyen at Longo Toyota made the whole experience easy, smooth, and stress free. Michael is patient, friendly, responsible, caring, and most importantly, honest. He treats you like family instead of just another sale, and at no point did we feel pressured. I actually rushed and bought my own car from another dealership because I needed it ASAP. The next day, Michael reached out and told me the exact car was back in stock at Longo. If I had known, I honestly would have waited because I ended up paying so much more at the other dealership. Luckily, my girlfriend was also buying a car, and Michael took great care of us. He explained everything clearly and answered every question patiently. The entire process was smooth and transparent.     I have been purchasing cars at Longo since 1992. Although I have been absent from the Toyota brand, I am back. I started my purchase with Kyle last year for my Camry. Kyle offered up-front pricing and excellent customer service. So, this year, when it was my daughter's turn to buy her RAV4, I reached out to Kyle again. And this time, Kyle was as good as, if not better. He worked with our schedule, and we bought another car from him. Next time, when I am in the market for a new car. Longo and Kyle are going to be my go-to place.

Last month, I had reached out to Longo online to request a quote for a 2026 Lexus NX 350h Premium. I notified them of the price I had received from a different dealership and was told they would "match" any competitor and also honor a discount I had received using the Costco Auto Program ($2500 off). They even notified me of their special APR rate for March 2026. Things seemed to be going well, but they didn't have any inventory and the car I wanted would not arrive until the following month. They also said they could not honor the APR for next month since it was a special promotion only for March. I called Crown Lexus and they were not going to receive any new NX hybrids until April, but the salesperson from Crown said their dealership would honor the discount from Costco and the special APR rate even though the car would not arrive until after the promotion was over. I called Longo back and notified them of what Crown was going to offer and instead of matching the offer, they said they'd only give me a discount of $1500 because there was a "shortage" of the NX models. I was a bit disappointed in their response and ended up going with Crown Lexus and reserved a car that was assembled in Japan. Also, check their inventory because the cars are assembled in either Canada or Japan. If the VIN number starts with a 2, the car was assembled in Canada.

After discussing what day and time to meet, and over the course of waiting for Monday any updates or questions I had he would respond positively. Once I got to the dealership Ivan greeted me and we went to go see the Prelude. Looking around the lot from what I could tell Ivan took care of the vehicles he had, they were detailed from what I could tell and were very organized. When looking over the Prelude he let me look over everything, trunk, touching all the buttons, and there were some problems but just small things like the powered windows not working but I was purchasing a 20+ year car. After that we worked the final process out and now am currently waiting from confirmation from my bank and soon be able to pick it up! There's also a foosball table inside the store but I never got to use it. Ivan told me the store is family owned, and I would recommend purchasing your first vehicle, second, or third vehicle here because the service and communication with Ivan just can't be compared to regular brand dealerships better Update: The car had a check engine light come up but it was just minor like spark plugs and cables needing to be replaced. Do not buy the…read morered Mazda Protege5 that is for sale (or rather any car that is for sale here) To my credibility, this is not the first Mazda Protoge5 that I have owned, I have done top to bottom maintenance on this kind of car and am not naive nor a novice to this vehicle. That being said, I will detail the pre-test drive issues I found with the car. For starters the glove box handle was broken. Just straight up missing. When I asked how do I open the glove box, "Ivan," said "here let me open it for you." He then proceeded to finger the broken glove box, prying at it to open, where he never got it open, and then just moved on. The roof rack trim is cracked, and on this kind of car this can result in water leaking into the cabin and causing mold to build up. Before the test drive I turned on the ac to test its functionality. The belt that drives the ac let out a loud squealing. I asked him "So whats up with that" and he remarked "its just because you just turned on the ac, it will go away." During my test drive I noticed that the seat belt light does not shut off despite all passengers wearing their seatbelts, I don't even begin to know why. Another problem I noticed is that the shifter linkage needs rebuilding, the shifter is "floppy" and does not return to neutral, you can literally throw it side to side and it will stay there. The two major problems with this car are ones that I consider dangers to the client. The clutch is almost gone in this car. The clutch is "all the way to the floor" meaning the diaphragm spring in said clutch is wearing out. I asked him when the clutch was replaced, he responded that he did not know, this means it is probably still the original 150k mile clutch. The most dangerous of them all is the brakes. I notice that when braking, all of the linkage and body of the car shakes, this means the rotors are warped or severely worn down. This is an EXTREME safety hazard. DO NOT BUY THIS CAR. When I asked him when the brakes were last replaced he claimed that his shop had replaced them. I asked "the pads and rotors, or just the pads" he said "both." Intentionally lying and risking the safety of the client. What bothered me extremely is that when I asked to test drive the vehicle "Ivan" said "look man, I am busy, the price of 5000 is firm if you aren't going to pay full price don't even bother wasting my time" (The audacity of this dude I swear). I drove an hour to purchase the vehicle, and after being extremely mislead, this "Ivan" was not even willing to negotiate. Overall, in my experience with this "Ivan" and the Active Auto Group was not only disrespectful, but downright criminal. Do not even consider buying a car from here. As similar to the other individuals leaving reviews, I was blocked shortly after leaving his lot. This is in an attempt to prevent negative reviews on his Marketplace account that would hurt his pr. I know this "Ivan" will probably respond with some cookie cutter pr rebuttal trying to devalue or dismiss my review. That is because he only cares about making a quick buck at the expense of the safety of his client. Do not be mislead, do not buy a car, do not waste your time, do not risk your life. Also suspicious that on Yelp the name of this location is "Forza" instead of the actual name of "Active Auto Group."
