Just purchased an rx for my wife and i can say that the experience was hassle free and smooth. Our salesman, Tony, was very helpful and patient. Not only was he quite knowledgeble about his vehicles, but he showed a lot of enthusiasm as well. I never like the experience of buying a car so this was refreshing. I have to point out that i am not one to try to get the absolute best deal possible because i know that everyone has to make a living. In my experience, even when most salesman know that i just want a fair deal, they still try to get the most out of you instead of just getting to the point of a reasonable offer. Working with Tony was pleasant. He stayed way after closing for us to finish the deal and called both my wife and I afterwards to make sure everything was great. In fact, other representatives from Longo called to check up on us as well. This is a great example of being part of the "lexus" family. One example of the difference between other dealerships was the fact that i wanted a dvd system for my daughter but adding this option is a huge cost and not widely available in so cal. The cerritos lexus offered to add a "flip down" dvd player for $2000!!! (listed price is $470)!!! Tony, on the other hand, suggested saving the money and buying an ipad instead or buying a simple portable one since the technology is more advanced in todays dvd players and tablets. Excellent advice. All in all, quite happy with the experience and the purchase. I've always dreamed of buying a new lexus, but buying one for my wife and daugther instead feels even better. Was so hard to test drive here!! I have buy car before but longo was awfully difficult. I said I want to see a new rx and the girl said. I can get you one but you need credit application. Maybe I don't look nice that day, but I was just want test drive!! Not do paperwork .so we waste time for paper work and eventually she try to make me buy without seeing the car. I said I am serious but I must drive be and need the color I like. She say don't worry nd of course she told me we can now test drive. I start to ask many questions since I never test drive one , and the sales person was not helpful!!! She seem annoyed that I want to try before I buy! Not nice at all. But I did get a good offer . However price and service are two things. I was so tired I just leave feeling sad! I give them A star for price but not for service,. I want to mention also there was a nice starbucks inside. After speaking Longo Lexus VIP Portfolio Manager, Ian Clubb, about a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) 2011 Lexus GX460 listed via Lexus CPO website, the vehicle sounded like a great value. My wife and I took off work, drove over 100 miles one-way, to purchase the vehicle; however, to our dismay the vehicle interior was not CPO quality. Driver's side seat has cuts in the leather, seat belts are stained and frayed, headliner has cuts and dirty, the rear door weather stripping has rips and missing small pieces, and the seats are filthy and stained. Never buy a Preowned Certified car from Longo Lexus. They will give you a run around. First, my car was delivered two days late, so unprofessional nobody returned my call or knew what was going on. Second a few month later my right wheel was making a weird sound so I took it to my regular mechanic and he told me the wheel bearing needs to be changed. Since my car was under warranty I took it to Longo Lexus, they kept the car for three days to tell me that there was nothing wrong. Till this day it makes that same sound. Buying a car is a HUGE investment that takes serious consideration. When I went to Longo Lexus to buy my first car I didn't know what to expect. Being a female and going unaccompanied, I was very nervous and scared. I knew I needed a car but I didn't want to be to taken advantage of. My wife and I went to the dealership right before closing time at 8:40pm to look at a used 2018 Lexus RX350L. Lei Song was quick to ask us what he can help us with, I showed him the picture of the vehicle on the Website and he went to go get it for us. My wife test drove the car and fell in love with it. She wanted to take a look at a RX350 just to compare. Lei Song took us to see that. Eventually my wife decided on the RX350L for the bigger trunk space for when we do our Costco shopping. Once we decided on the vehicle, Finance was next. Peter from Finance made the process super fast, I think it only took 15 min and I was out of there. Since we looked at the car at night it was hard to see any cosmetic flaws. The next day we noticed 2 dings on the hood and a small paint chip on the rear of the car. My wife went back to pay for the car in full but also mentioned the cosmetic flaws we noticed. Any dealership is not required to fix cosmetic flaws once the car is sold but Longo Lexus is different. They will be taking care of the cosmetic flaws and also gave my wife a loaner car while it's being fixed. So this review makes me sad to write because I was a very long time Lexus owner. Literally had an EX, HS, NX, LS and been with them over years! We are talking back to college thru my adult life. But sadly Longo has changed and become terribly lazy! See the sales men don't care, they sell you the car but forget that Lexus was supposed to be a luxury brand and take care of their customers. They used to remind you with service appointments, they used to remind you when your lease would be up, they made it a point to keep your business. Now it's just excuses- literally you can't get a fleet manager on the phone. The receptionist transferred me to Toyota when I told her I had a Lexus. Then the salesmen blame things on Lexus Financial. That it's also their fault, not the fleet! Wow. The service was always great. But sales.... sales... go to a different Lexus if you must get this brand. But I was a customer for a long time and due to change of car needs they failed me! I went to Mercedes! I've been to this dealer twice. The first time I came by I walked around for 15 minutes without being helped. I saw a few employees outside but none came over to greet me or anything. I had to go over to them and ask about a car I liked. All they said was "oh that car is sold" OK I said and continued looking around but left since it didn't seemed anyone wanted to help me. The second time I came the same thing happened, no one greeted me or anything. All I got was a salesperson asking me to stop and not enter the underground lot where they keep all they new cars because I needed a salesman to go with me. Then he asked if anyone was helping me. I said no, then in a rude way without introducing himself he said what are you looking for. I told him I've been thinking of getting a car. He said which one. I told him the year and model and he said "oh I don't think we have cars that old. The car I asked for was a 2011 GS. I didn't liked that he said they didn't sell cars that old since I saw a 2004 ES 330 for sale on the lot. Shortly after he left. He didn't help me look for a car or walked me around the lot, he just said " all the used cars are on the top lot and left. After that I decided not to continue wasting anymore time at this dealer. I also saw the same salesman keeping an eye on me as I got into my car. Seems like no one wanted to help me out which was odd because all the other customers were greeted right away as soon as they parked. I'll try my luck at Glendale Lexus. Went on Jan 16, 2017 after work, stayed few hours there, bought a new 2017 RX350, experienced was okay. Less than 17 hours, the new car air conditioner was not working, I tried to turn on the air conditioner on Jan 17, 2017 noon time, except a noisy sound, no cold air came out at all. Took the car back to the dealer, sat there for an half hour, then the CS advised me no loaner on that day, told me to wait few hours there, or they could offer me a ride, but they only could schedule to pick me up around 30 minutes later after they dropped me off which is ridiculous that they had me to wait that long and told me this. Then I requested to take my car back and would drop it off for service tomorrow (Jan 18, 2017). Then the next day I dropped off my car to perform a check (Jan 18 2017) then the CS advised me on next day (Jan 19, 2017) the car was no Freon, they refilled it and would have the car ran for 24 hours and will be ready for pick up tomorrow (Jan 20, 2017). Remember, I drove off my new car from Longo at around 30 miles. Then after one trip back to home, one trip from home to work, then from work to Longo for this service. My new car that I had less than 17 hours already need to perform a warranty service at 61 miles. After I got back the car on Jan 20, 2017, the air conditioner works well for probably 2 weeks, but in between these 2 weeks, the air conditioner not always need to turn on considering it is a rainy cold winter in Southern California this year. Then on Feb. 7, 2017, I drove my car for lunch and it was hot in the noon time that I finally need to turn on the air conditioner. And a new problem occurs, in the 20 minutes drove to the restaurant, even the air conditioner was turn on, this time, only hot air blow out!!!! I turned on and off and switch few different settings, the blow out air was still hot!! Then I turned on and off the car few times, and while on my way back to the office, finally the air conditioner was able to blow out some cold air. Then I thought maybe I am too stupid to make it work at first, and all I thought was setting problem. So I did not bring the car to the dealer at the same day. Then later on this Tuesday Feb 14, 2017, same things happened again, and this time I tried few times to turn on and off the car completely again, just like what I did last time. I had no luck, the car just kept blowing HOT AIR out. I drove the car directly to the dealer this time, and told them try to set it up for me, maybe I am too stupid to make it work. And unfortunately, they were not able to help me out, since no matter what setting they switch to, the air conditioner only kept blowing hot air out. And now the car is still at the Longo Lexus diagnosing the problem, and I received no updated status till today, considering they may need more time or not even a known time to find out what is going on. I had a 2006 GS 300 for 11 years, and the air conditioner was excellent, even after 11 years use, so when I want to get a new car, I still consider Lexus, I drove there and with only one test drive, I traded in my 2006 GS for this 2017 RX 350 which is the worst decision I made. Buying a new car supposed to be excited and a happy experience, what I am having now is just the beginning of a new nightmare. Considering that I have this car for less than a month, but the car already stayed/staying at the Longo for repair for a week and more. I can't imagine how many times I have to visit Longo for car problem in the future. For spending a $65,500 on my new car, I expected to receive a brand new functional car, not a car that perform worse than my previous 11 years old car. read more

I don't like people trying to take advantage of me or my family. I brought my car in for service a couple months ago and was told that I had to get my front passenger side brake pad replaced. I was baffled to how the front brake pad can wear so quickly on a REAR WHEEL DRIVE CAR. When I asked the adviser how that can happen he couldn't give me a satisfactory answer just that "things happen". I asked what would happen if I don't get it? Then you'll be grinding into your rotors within the week. Here we are a couple months since my last visit and what do you know? No grinding of any kind. Still stops on a dime. Nice try. buyer beware! this is our 2nd attempt at owning a lexus. we ended up hiring a lemon law attorney for the first one. once we received our money back for the lemon we decided to give lexus one more try. big mistake!! it's not so much that the product is all that terrible...well, it is definitely not the best for the price. it's that lexus service does NOT back their product whatsoever! we took the vehicle in the first time because the the brake pedal would shake when slowly coming to a stop. they verbally said that there was no problem but then replaced the rotor. why would they replace a major part if there was "nothing wrong"? the shaking has gotten worse...and they keep saying the same thing..."it's normal" or "we can't find the problem". they'll be finding the problem when there's an accident because of a major equipment failure! we also took our car in for abnormal wear on the inside of the tires. it's way more bald on the insides and the wear of the tire is very uneven. i took it in at 5k miles..."umm, it's not normal but let's wait and check on it after another 5k miles." we took it in at 10k miles..."well, all wheel drives have this type of tire wear but let's check it again in a few thousand miles." we took it in again at 15k, at 17k and now at 19k. guess what they said? "umm, lexus tires only last about 15-20k miles because they are softer tires. and all wheel drive vehicle tires all wear out on the inside." say what??? has anyone heard of such a thing? do all other lexus owners change out their tires at 15k miles? we have an '07 cadillac escalade AWD and the tires don't wear out unevenly like that! so now they want me to contact corporate and get a rep out to a dealership where they will inspect my car. no doubt they are probably trained to say the same thing..."it's normal." the fluff of the lounge and pastries are all fine and dandy...but what counts is a company backing their products. lexus in general doesn't stand by their vehicles and longo is by far the worst representative of the company!! please prove me wrong by taking care of and backing your vehicle. please!! i don't want to have to hire a lemon law attorney again! read more

Just read the review on David Truong and I definitely disagree! I went there to purchase a car I had seen on the Internet for awhile. David was referred to me by a friend and I am in the car business same dealer 25 years. When I got there the car I had my eye on was behind another and when he went to open door he said the battery was dead so as I stood there I was looking at all of the white ones they had and thought I would look around. I didn't particularly like black grill on the front and I specifically asked him what was the difference between the f-sport and non...his exact response was "nothing ......just the grill!" Than he mumbled something about parking assist and I told him I was not worried about that feature. Grill and park assist. Period. Take the car home to realize a couple of nights later car has no heated seats! Crazy any gs350 doesn't come with that feature because even the uber ride I had to take home in a Ford Fiesta had heated seats. I let David know I wasn't happy at all and what other feature differences did he fail to disclose...turns out has different wheels blind spot camera and different suspension (the truth comes out after I had possession). He said he could switch cars but I would have to pay whatever price was on it and no negotiating! Very bad business I was willing to pay exact same amount on the fsport (right in the middle of low and high retail) blue book. He said he would just unwind the deal. Worse yet he insulted me and said I wouldn't be happy with anything no matter what!!! My goodness if you only really knew me. What a liar...all because he led me to the car that prob gave him a higher commission voucher. I had the es350 and loved the car. (Bought used off of my neighbor). I will buy another Lexus ....never from longo and never from David. Very rude. A free referral...2 pencils and made an easy deal...and never smiled. I would never let my sales guy go out and sign unwind docs! That's finance dept job! David did and said congratulations! No apology whatsoever as he took back the car. Just a congrats!!! He knew he wasn't honest (by not disclosing everything when being asked a direct question to me is also not being honest). I ubered home with the Vice President of 6 dealerships...have to laugh this one off! We don't have Lexus and for 25 years hadn't shopped elsewhere. I will never let this happen again. I purchased first "luxury car"... the NX200 here three weeks ago. To my surprise when I took the car home it started shaking while in park. I didn't think it was a big deal, because it's a brand new car, straight off of the showroom. I realized that the car was doing this every time it was idle. I would drive the car, put it in park and see that the shaking was consistent regardless of the distance driven. Two weeks after purchasing the car.. I decided this is a NOT normal and I didn't buy a luxury car to deal with something that can turn out to be a bigger issue later. Longo services kept my car for an entire week, they recognized the problem, called out engineers from outside of their facility to track the issue (which took him three days alone) and reporting back that "the suspension on the F sport package can lead to the car shaking while in park." The suspension is not even being used when in park. They seemed to talk to me as if I would not understand how a car should function? I was then taken to Craig Wolfson, the sales director, who instantly started off with an attitude. He stated that he has driven the NX multiple times and has yet to encounter this problem. He then went on to tell me "drive your car home. The dealership cannot loose money by just handing you a new car. I will see in the upcoming week what I will be able to do so we don't lose money in this situation." The most disrespectful, ignorant person I have encountered that is supposed to be delivering "customer SERVICE." This is the last place I will ever recommend any family/friends to ever go to. read more

We came to Longo Lexus for a 2015 NX for my mother. Now, this had already been a long and arduous process leading up to stepping into Longo because we simply could not find existing color combinations that my mother could be happy with at any of the other dealerships we had gone to. After being able to look around for a while at the cars parked inside the showroom, we met Francisco Maragay who asked if we were interested in test driving. My mother's initial questions to Francisco...of course pertained to colors! She wanted to see all the colors available for this car and wanted to see all the possible colors for inside the car. Francisco kindly brought us into their indoor garage and walked us around, suggested colors, pointed out features in each of the cars. My mom picked out a car with the color combo she thought she could like. Of course, it was the vehicle that was parked behind two other vehicles. Francisco instantly told us it was not an issue, got her in that car in a jiffy. We test drove the car, and she fell in love with the comfort and handling of the car. We decided that the NX was the car for her. Now....for the negotiations right? Well, no...my mother then changed her mind about the colors she had just picked out and proceeded to inquire about the bevy of other possible color combinations available and in stock. Francisco....oh, so....super patiently looked up every possible color combination in 2015 and 2016, with the various options my mother had wanted. Not only that, he ran back and forth pulling out each possible color of car my mom thought she could possibly like so she could see the car in the sun and not just in the indoor garage. He is an absolute angel for doing this!!!!Because he was willing to go that extra mile, she ended up liking a color combination that she had never even thought about. Throughout the whole process, Francisco was so patient and so easy going. I honestly don't think anyone else could have extended themselves any more than Francisco did!! My mother ended up purchasing the car, for a great price that again, Francisco helped us get! Once I contacted him, he asked me what I wanted and responded to all my inquiries promptly and also provided options for me to fit my needs. Very simple and quick! Once I arrived to the dealership, my family and I were greeted by Steve and got the process started. My nervousness went away as he made us all feel comfortable. I was set on one car, but unfortunately it was purchased right before I got there. This is my first time at this dealership and I have to say, it is a huge dealership. The entrance is manned by a guard so the person is always looking at who's in and out. The lobby is a big open space room with seating and TVs. It is very nice looking. This is not unexpected at a Lexus dealership. I live in Orange County and I drove specifically to LA on a Wednesday night here not because this is a nice dealership but specifically for the Internet Sales Manager Leo Subroto! Leo was the Sales Manager at Tustin when I got my car 3 years ago. He really made an impression on me with his professionalism, genuine sales approach and most of all, he listened to me. Needless to say when I went back to Tustin Lexus this year and was told he no longer worked there, I was disappointed. No fault on Tustin Lexus but Leo really made a strong impression on me. Luckily, we are LinkedIn contacts so I sought him out! The car I was looking for was very limited and it seemed to be few and far between. I emailed Leo my request and his response initially seemed to confirm that it is quite limited but he wanted to talk with me further regardless. In between our email exchanges and phone call, Leo went to bat for me and located the car I wanted. When he called me and told me he had two of the cars I was looking for but only one in the color scheme I wanted, I jumped for joy! Long story short, Leo didn't disappoint and just made the entire process so easy. If you are at Longo Lexus, ask for Leo Subroto, he is great with explaining everything and if he doesn't know it, he is not going to try to fake it until he makes it. However, he's pretty knowledgeable and there wasn't too much he didn't know about the car. He is always prepared to tell me everything about the car, all the special functions, how it compares to other cars and he is able to demonstrate all the bells and whistles of the car as if it's his own car. I think what makes the whole experience great is that Leo has a great personality and sense of humor. It doesn't feel like a long drawn out car buying process, he will do his utmost best to get you the best pricing. He's just so easy to talk to and won't sugar coat anything b/c I hate surprises and he will tell you like it is. Not very common in sales people but it's refreshing to encounter them. Lastly, I want to give a shout out to Ryan Tsai in financing. It was probably 8:30pm to 9pm when we sat down with him and his energy and focus was like it was still the middle of the day. I've sat down with many finance people before but I have to say, Ryan is really good at his job. His paperwork signing process was clear and non-stressful. He will always make sure you understand the current document before asking for your signature and if you don't, he knows how to explain it to you so that you don't need to have a finance degree to comprehend. I'm not sure if you could ask for a specific finance person but if you can, ask for Ryan. i came in to see at some cars was in toyota for my 2015 corolla 15k service and me and my fiance were thinking of buying a car so came in started looking around even went inside and not even once did anyone notice me not sure if its cause i was in my work clothes or just but i even went downstairs and checked their new inventory i was walking for a good 20 minutes and yeah no one even came to ask or help in any way so we ended up going to win hyundai bought a 2017 tucson for 10k cheaper and it come with way more extras than the lexus we were planing on buying i gotta say thank you lexus for helping me make a better choice and save lots of money read more

We've had terrible experience so far with Longo Lexus so far. After all of rumors about how great they are at Longo Lexus, we're very disappointed with their sale services. My husband and I want to buy either a CPO ES 350 or CPO RX 350 from 2010-2011. So we came in the deal on Sunday July 2012 and met Victor Reyes. Our first impression of this guy was great. He's funny, down to earth, easy talking to, and very patience, attentive to all of our questions and concerns. Although we've planned to check out the CPO cars, Victor has tried to convinced us to take a look at brand new ones for lease if we can't afford the monthly payments. We were fine with the idea so we ended test drove all the brand new ones. However, we couldn't really make up our mind by the end of the day. So we left. Two days later, we called Longo Lexus again for the CPO posted on internet for decent price and wanted to test drive it. Victor was off on that day so we ended talking with Mark, another fleet manager. We talked on the phone first about that particular we were interested in but Mark wanted to show us another car, CPO Toyota Sienna that he can give a very special deal on it. It sounded interested so we thought we'd test drive that one when we come in as well. When we finally got to the dealer, it was already 715pm and Mark told us on the phone that he'll get off at 730pm. He was nicely greeting us and showing us the mini van first. Then we test drove it. By the time we got back to the dealer it was almost 815pm. The mini van was full loaded and nice looking. However, we weren't very much impressed with the car so we said that we don't want to talk numbers with him. He wasn't very happy at all after knowing that we were not interested in making any deal or talking any number with him. We know that we got him staying late to show us the car but he didn't have to if he doesn't want to. He even gave us a lecture about if we're not ready to get the car then don't come to the dealer, etc....We were shocked and upset about his attitude so we excused ourselves and left. Next day, we came back to see Victor Reyes again after my working hours. We thought we were be able and ready to make a deal with Victor on that day since we had more time to talk and test drove few more cars before making decision which one to get. We also told him about the story between us and Mark yesterday when we came back test drove the mini van. Victor said he knew all about it because Mark already told him first thing in the morning. We don't know what Mark said to Victor but the second time when we came back to the dealer, Victor's attitude were completely changed 180 degree. He acted weird, impolite, unfriendly, and not as nice to us at all. We felt something was wrong and we knew we don't want to talk any numbers with him with that kind of attitude. So we decided not to buy/sign any paper work on that day. Buying a car at dealer is a business transaction. Nothing's personal! We honestly don't understand why those two treated us the way they did. We are serious buyers not just going there for fun. Now we're very hesistated coming back there since it seems like there're no one is professional enough to deal with us. In conclusion, their maintenant service might be good but terrible in sale service. It's true that they have large inventory, but totally not worthy going there with that kind of service.
