Nice place Great Beer! Veteran Owned. The charcuterie board was amazing. I had a cider and that was great too!

We hit up Longtab after a hike at Eisenhower Park, as is our post-hike tradition. Nestled in a warehouse district, Longtab is a great, welcoming space! I come from a military family so the fact that it's veteran-owned and operated made it that much sweeter. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with lots of large screen TVs (I got to watch the Winter Olympic closing ceremonies live, so that was a plus). The staff was super friendly, too! The food and beer offerings were top-notch - we had the giant garlic parm pretzel, the spinach dip and the chips and beer queso. Everything was flavorful and served piping hot! I only got a pic of the pretzel because we immediately dug into the rest of the food as soon as it hit the table! Their beers were terrific too: I ordered the Legion scotch ale (tall, dark and tasty) and my friends ordered Hearts and Minds cherry Belgian. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and will be returning soon!!

Excellent Service, greeted and served very quickly by the extremely pleasant staff. The ambiance inside will be very well received by civilians and military alike. The food was excellent! My wife and I each ordered an entree and split it, The Ham and Brie was delicious, as was the bratwurst plate. Will return again!

Longtab is worth the drive. I was staying on the Riverwalk and wasn't sure if I need to venture this far for a good brewery experience, but I am glad I did. The Belgian-style selection did not disappoint, and the ginormous pretzel exceeded expectations.

Great veteran brewery with good food menu and great beer! I highly recommend the cinnamon sugar pretzel bites. They are life changing. This place is great for a weeknight dinner. Good service, good atmosphere. Bar seating at the bar and some high top tables in the front room. Regular tables in the back room.

I absolutely love this place, the bartenders were amazing and attentive The place was cute with lots of military association and love the fact that it's classy The food was delish and the bratwurst plate was so good the potato salad with the red cabbage was amazing The pretzels are worth ordering and you can taste the different beers I will be coming back to this place

I came here with a buddy during the week for an after work drink. The spot is very proud of its military heritage! They have a war movie playing on one Tv screen at all times. When we went, they were playing "the Green Berets." The first room near the bar is a bit more low key. I suggest you enter the second room with the projector screen. They have plenty of screens to watch whatever game is on. The food is also delicious. The waitress did a great job suggesting the nachos. On my list of best breweries in town. A bit out of the way from the city center, but worth the drive!

We happened here after visiting the Animal Shelter. They had an Oktoberfest party happening and the place was busy inside! It was very festive with traditional German outfits and a live band! The beers were very good, and they have a full kitchen and menu. The bartender noted that the food menu changes depending on special events (there was a lot of German-style food and apps), but there are some staples as well. We ordered a large pretzel and a brat on a pretzel bun. It was all very, very good! My only reason for giving it 4 stars out of 5 is that I love a nice patio or a place to sit outside. The location is in some industrial area and though they do have outdoor seating it is not covered and basically just in the parking lot. We visited on a HOT summer day and no one was out there. The place is super clean and cool inside! We will be back if we are ever in the area again.

Good spot to visit in San Antonio. Good selection of beer although they didn't have any hazy both times I've visited. The food is great, the vibe is great, and so is the service. This is definitely a required stop for me whenever I'm in town.

I'm so glad that we were recently introduced to Longtab Brewery. Some dear friends of ours were in town and had visited here before and suggested we meet up. The drinks and food were outstanding and I believe this will be a new hangout for us. Longtab is veteran owned with rich brews. They also have some great Texas wines. I had the Messina Hof Almond Demi-Sec and it was downright delightful. The food was awesome. My husband and I shared a giant Bavarian pretzel. The beer cheese sauce was the perfect accompaniment. We also shared the sausage and red pepper flatbread. We licked the platter clean and were stuffed when we left. The staff was great and helpful. We will be back soon. Follow them on social media for specials and events.

Fantastic brewery with awesome beers and good food. The Giant Pretzel is a must do! They even have a coffee bar and offer something for everyone!

Service was subpar. First time visiting and the waitress pointed out where we can grab our own water. Also, the ventilation was pretty bad. It was stuffy/warm and as soon as you walk in, there is a strong smell of greasy food lingering in the air that attaches to your hair and clothing. Last note, if you're interested in spirits, this restaurant does not have a liquor license so there is only beer and wine.

That's odd because it is open-seating without a hostess stand. I'm glad we just rolled with it. Also, seating is quite limited, even with the patio. We walked around twice before another couple got up, and we grabbed their seats. Now, with no hostess, this is a recipe for exactly what happened to us. No one came by the table for well over ten minutes (possibly fifteen). Once they did, we had very attentive service. None of that changes the fact that the guy who told us to "sit anywhere" walked past us four times without acknowledging our presence. The food is only average. The schnitzel appetizer was unseasoned and tough. The fried bologna sandwich for my wife was extremely good. She was not as fond of the potato salad. It did not really look like it was picking a side - neither German-style nor southern. She said it had some characteristics of German-style, but there was a definite mayo-based dressing. As for my pastrami sandwich...the pastrami was quite good. Honestly, I do not understand why it is so hard to find good pastrami in a state like Texas (you know, with such an historical mix of cultures that virtually spread it across the globe). This pastrami came in at a solid B. The remainder of the sandwich was completely awful. Tough bread, minimal cheese. I don't eat rotted cabbage (sauerkraut) or thousand island, so I put mayo on the sandwich. As a side note, whoever writes the menu should know that a sandwich with those four components is called a "Reuben," rather than "pastrami sandwich." Anyway, good beer, as should be the case with any brew-pub kind of place. The location is on a narrow, residential street. There is really only street parking, so you REALLY have to want to come here to deal with that level of nonsense. It was an interesting visit, but definitely not worth a return. Ever.

My main reason for trying out wild barley was because they have sour beers, it wasnt the best sour beer i have ever had, but i have noticed in Texas the sour beers have a strange taste to them that i cant quite put my finger on.
