The theater wasn't the cleanest in my opinion. The movie I bought tickets for said the start time would be at 5:30. I showed up at 5:30 and the theater was silent until 6pm. Kind of awkward to have had to wait so long. The LOOK at Tysons doesn't start movies late like that. I was confused. Also, I understand charging customers for a cup of water because they are being brought to you, but the paper cups themselves felt like the water was about to burst through the cup by the end of the movie. What in the world? They also played a trailer for the movie we were about to watch during the previews. My guess is a lot of the employees are young and inexperienced maybe. read more

Man, this place sucks. Bit on the 2026 Infinity Club deal during holidays last year (2025) and thought it was a big red flag when they extended the Infinity Club deal for the next year (2027) before 2025 even ended, but alright, whatever. A deal is a deal. My wife and I have tried every conceivable method for ordering food when there and it never fails to get messed up or just not come out at all. 1) Speak to a staff member in the theater, and you basically have to type in your information yourself to get the deal on food else they default to charging you full price. Your other option is to loudly exclaim your personal information as slow as possible so they can type it in themselves. You might get your whole order after that. 2) Try using the QR codes on the theater tables and ordering more than one drink - that 2nd drink will never come out, and when you ask for refund after the movie ends the bartender/manager will try to just make one right there for you and/or act like they have to build a calculator from component parts to refund one thing. 3) Try using the Kiosks just inside the front door. It gives you the option to select when you want your food to come out. We chose 'ASAP' which was right at the start time of the showing, 7pm. We ordered at 625, then went up to the theater which was still being cleaned. Alright, fine, no worries - we grabbed a table on the 2nd floor and just waited for a few minutes. Then we noticed what ended up being our drinks being walked to the theater (while it was still being cleaned). We walked into the theater at 645, and nothing. My wife went out just before the show started to ask what was going on, and what do you know, the small ice water and dr. pepper were in fact brought to the theater 5 minutes after we ordered (again, while the lights were on and staff were cleaning tables). They didn't remake the drinks, they just pushed them towards her so she could deliver them herself. Melted ice with a melted receipt stuck to the lid. And the one drink from the bar was never remade, despite two staff members saying it was on the way. Walked out half way through the movie and asked for a refund. Manager acted like I was asking to use his cell phone or stick my hand in his pocket, but begrudgingly refunded the one measly drink. And it wasn't some wild custom job - it was the SubZero drink that was just a frozen marg with blue caraco. Anecdotally, there was a gentleman sitting next to us who also had to go out and retrieve the drink he ordered which looked like a simple glass of liquor. There were probably less than 10 people in the theater, it wasn't busy. I really wanted to love this place, but that drive to One Loudoun for The Alamo just became worth it again. Oh, and the exit escalator has been broken for at least a year. read more

Let me list the ways: fix the escalator, which has been broken for the last six years at least that I can remember. Give us real popcorn in a real container instead of the stupid bowl that has butter salt on it. I want my golden flavoring. Thank you very much. This Coke is completely small and it's flat. We are the only people in the theater and yet the volume for ads 11 and we are being assaulted by commercials. So two senior citizens with one bowl of popcorn, one Coke and each of us have some candy. It cost us $62! And we're being assaulted by commercials that someone else paid for. Oh and I see when we walked in that we have to pay an 18% gratuity so you can pay a living wage to people to bring us popcorn. When were the only people in the theater. There's so much to improve upon. I would love to see just one thing. read more

I saw Titanic on 2/4/26 as a comeback movie and was so excited to see it again on the big streen after over 25 years. The theater was not crowded at all, the picture was great as was the sound in the theater. The temperature in the theater changed constantly in the 3 plus hours we were in there. The food was NOT hot that we ordered (we were a party of four and had things like a burger, chicken tenders pretzel bites and popcorn.) The only thing that was the right temperature was the popcorn. We asked for more butter but did not receive it, along with not receiving refills on our drinks. We ordered a sprite that we never received either. They charge a fee for the food along with expecting a tip, putting the cost for everything higher than expected. While the movie did not disappoint of course, the service and quality of food (and prices) made the entire experience less than pleasing. read more

Would not recommend this place at all anymore. Ever since the management change, it feels like everything has gotten worse. The theater was dirty, there was a nasty sewer-type smell throughout the building, and the prices/fees are getting out of control. They added an 18% service charge for things that honestly shouldn't even have one, like carrying a bucket of pre-made popcorn to your seat. And the popcorn definitely did not taste fresh. We go here becasue it is so close but it is the dirtiest theater in our area! You will hear your shoes sticking to something as you walk. The service to your seat if ordering food via the qr code is very delayed. Again, it seems like they never vacuum the carpets, mop the floors, trash all over, stickiness everywhere. The manager Kevin helped us out with adjusting our tickets, when we were delayed & weren't going to make it to our original showing. It would be very helpful if the company made this possible for guests to complete, online, similar to Draft. The theater is usually clean & well maintained. We've only had a few encounters with mild sticky or greasy spots. Restrooms are hit hard on the weekends, & would benefit from a few more frequent restocking of supplies on those busy days. On average, kept clean. Our main let down has consistently been the food & beverage service. We have tried to page a server for assistance after our food was delivered, on two separate visits, with no response. During one visit, we asked the server if we could order a swirl of both flavors, in an icee. The server confirmed & then charged & ordered two separate drinks. We didn't realize until we were handed both, so we asked the person dropping off the drinks to please bring us an extra cup so we could mix. No one ever came back with the cup they agreed to drop off. We've also repeatedly had an issue when ordering through the online set up. So we've basically given up on ordering anything & just enjoy the comfortable seating to watch a film. read more

Went here to see Fantastic 4 with some friends, and had a pretty decent experience! We ordered the dinner service, where they had a deal for 1 appetizer and two entrées for $35. There is also an option to include a dessert for six more dollars. I had the nachos, coconut chicken strips with sweet potato fries, and ended with a brownie sundae for dessert. Everything was good initially, but to be honest, the portions were too large, and I felt a little sick. I would've much rather them have smaller portions for a lower price. It was a little annoying that throughout the movie the servers would come in and out, which disrupted the movie. read more

The fundamental premise with a dine-in theater is that the next session will step into a CLEAN theater. Looking at the accumulation of grease and crumbs in the trays/cupholders, the grease and stains on the chairs, I am failing to see how this theater is keeping up with this premise. I have also always failed to understand how hard it can be to pick up your stuff from a concession stand, and how having folks constantly walk in between seats in the dark is more efficient/better service in exchange for the built-in service fee. Our app ordering process was fine, but the popcorn was cold, stale, and very greasy. Then we waited and waited for the drinks. Admittedly, the seats were also not the most comfy. Until I see the dine-in concept actually function as it should, I will remain a big skeptic. read more

Hmmm well, I came here after a great experience at the Tysons location and was let down by a couple of major/minor issues that added up. Issues: 1. The ordering links in the theatre were down and so we had to order outside in the lobby. 2. This would have been fine if there was more than one cashier open to take orders but there was only one cashier open to take orders. The bartender was great! I just think he could have used some help. 3. A good chunk of the menu was sold out... Also minor issue but the Tysons location has the self-serve Coke remix machines and this location does not. :| 4. When bringing our food the employee got lost with the seat numbers and brought our food to a random family. I just feel like maybe these seats should be better labeled for employees to find us??? 5. Loud kids were dropping metal pans of popcorn on the ground during the movie and talking and running around LMAO I will say I was looking around the theatre for the Coke remix machines and a very kind manager stopped to ask me if I needed anything - bc i was very obviously searching for something lol. Their icees were sold out and I just wanted a fun drink :'). Kinda just makes me want to go to the Alamo!! Or just the Tysons location going forward. I thought this theater was great, and I am excited to have a theater in Reston Town Center again! I was really surprised to see all the bad reviews, I enjoyed my theater experience. I also found the price of tickets more reasonable than other theaters. When I arrived to the theater, the workers guided me to the desk to scan my ticket. I saw Ghostbusters in the PX theater. The PX theater has the largest and best screen at this location. I thought the screen was really good, and it also wasn't deafening loud. Once you arrive to your seat, they have a QR code you can use to order food. I just got a popcorn and water, but you can get a whole meal, they had plenty of options. Their popcorn was warm and perfectly buttery. Since you order digitally, I found the food came out a lot faster than other places. The prices seemed pretty reasonable compared to other theaters. Most importantly, the theater has reclining seats. The seats were really thick and comfortable, and they had a good amount of space between each seat. I enjoyed my experience, and I plan to visit this theater more often. read more

Went here on a Sunday afternoon to watch Hunger Games Prequel. Movie tickets were cheap at $11 per ticket compared to other luxury cinemas going at about ~$15 per ticket. For a newly opened theater, I expected more cleanliness on their part - however when I got seated and swiveled the table over my feet to order - I touched the cup holder and felt something sticky. Good thing I had hand sanitizer on hand. Food reviews: Margherita Pizza - 6/10 could've been more flavorful. Honestly tasted like frozen pizza you bake/toast in the oven Chicken Tenders - 8.5/10 I liked the crunch they had, but the marinade on the chicken had a sweetness to it that I didn't like too much - but that's debatable based on preference. The fries that came with the tenders were good though. Loaded Fries Appetizer - 10/10 for me. Flavorful cheese, green onions, and bacon. Again the fries for me were good so I'd recommend this appetizer. Deep fried Oreos - 10/10 not too sweet, not too mushy. I liked the crunch on them and was happy that it came with vanilla ice cream (not pictured) Seat review: The seats don't recline fully to the point that you're laying down like AMC in Herndon. But it's still a comfortable enough recline angle that it's comfortable and you can enjoy the movie. I'd come back to watch for sure. Overall 4/5 stars just because of that sticky feel I had from the swivel table. You'd assume they at least wipe down those tables after every showing especially with the food service aspect but I guess they missed this spot. Service for me I had no issue with though. I will not be seeing a movie at this theater again. This is the second time that the sound quality was absolutely terrible, all dialogue sounds underwater and is constantly overpowered by the much better sounding music/score. Even after an employee assured multiple guests it is just that way on previews and would get better for the movie... it didn't. Happened to go on a Tuesday this last time, so not too messy, but any previous time it was disgusting and didn't feel like they even tried to clean. Save your money and be patient, watch a movie in the comfort of your own home and stop promoting this crap service. read more

Plus: I have an annual membership here. Pay $100 for free ticket a day. Minus: some days, like on today -- "Discount" Tuesday -- they are very busy. Case in point, all movies at evening were completely full. I could only book one movie I didn't want to see, at 9:30p. Well I came, and theater was completely disgusting. I sat down 10 min after start, at 9:40p. Whole row had trash discarded food and drinks and no one had cleaned it up. There was someone else's crap eaten food on my table. Dude came shortly after mumbled "sorry about that" and cleaned it up. Not that they did a good job cleaning. It was a disgusting experience. The cherry on top, they were "SOLD OUT" of all menu items. Could not get any food at all. Literally everything from burgers pizza sandwiches and salad was sold out. WTH!! Busy day I understand. But I was ravenously hungry and had not eaten dinner. I planned to eat at theater. BAD idea. Went out to bar, asked for food, guy told me straight up they only had concessions and drinks. I said "I'm leaving" and I left. I walked to Jackson's which was one of only spots open, sat down and I ordered some food that I'm gonna eat now. Light salmon salad with calamari. I hope it's good I'm hungry. Anyway, I have a membership at Look cinemas and thought my ticket was free, it's a PAID membership so I'm paying money to them to give me good experience. That includes movies, and yes FOOD and a clean environment. I only got 1/3 points hit. Overall a solid well put together movie theater. Food is good if a little pricey, but it's a movie theater so that's as expected. The sound is quite good, seats are comfy, it's clean, and the waitstaff is responsive, but the one thing that has happened a few times is a preponderance of unsupervised young tweens and teens who hoot, holler, and are noisy throughout the movies. This has happened a few times now and I'm thinking for the future, staff--or parents--might take occasional strolls thru the theater to prevent that from ruining others' experience. read more

This cinema sucks for a brand new "luxury" one. Theres sooooo many more theaters around the area. I honestly thought they were going to do more with it since it was closed for so long. Most of the theaters don't have reclining seats, the theater wasn't super clean, and their high performing experience theater room felt like most theater rooms now a days. AMBIANCE: Ordered tickets ahead of time. The ticket lists the theatre room and the seat number. From the entrance there are staff members at the help desk who are ready to scan the tickets and my sibling and I were off on our merry way. Walked in and played around with the reclining seats. They don't warm up; not a big deal. Still very comfortable. FOOD: Was excited to test out the dine-in feature. Came on a Sunday afternoon to watch a movie. To order there is a QR code on the tray table that you scan that takes you to the menu. First ordered a drink called "the MistleToe" and then an hour and a half into the movie I ordered sweet potato fries. The drink was a very light pour. Heavy on the lemonade you could hardly taste the tequila. Sweet Potato Fries were thick cut fries served with ketchup; tasted good and served warm. At $7 wish the portions were bigger the size is equivalent to a McDonalds small. OVERALL: The service was a bit slow at first. It was an easy fix from the QR Code look for the "Call Server" function if you have any complaints. Fries came out timely and was able to close out the check no problem. Would return! read more

I got a promotion in the mail for one free admission and I decided why not enjoy the screening of the Hunger Games prequel. I have never been to the cinema in Reston Town Center (RTC) before, so I can't compare it to its predecessor. While RTC is know for charging for parking, it is free on weekdays after 5pm as well as other specific times/days. Does should open 30 minutes before your showtime. Upon coming in, there is a little stand where you are greeted and they scan your ticket (if you purchased online) as well as provide a laminated menu. They have two floors and upon finding your auditorium (directions provided) and seat, you will be greeted by an employee who will give you a run down on how ordering food works. You have the option of having them take your order or ordering via the QR code located on the swinging tray of your recliner. Last orders should be about 30 minutes before the movie ends. I ended up ordering the Oreo signature shake. It tasted pretty good and was in a much taller glass than I was expecting. The seats could recline and were okay; however it wasn't the most comfy theatre seat that I have experienced. As my first experience at a dine in theatre, it wasn't a bad experience. The customer service was great although I can't speak on how it is when the theatre is full. read more

Pros: comfortable leather recliners, can dine-in with a decent menu including alcohol. Cons: no slushies. Newly-opened establishment = slow service and some food mixups while they work out the kinks, ordering system automatically checks you out and adds a 20% tip before the movie is even over. Overall: decent, I'll probably be back but might not get food or I'll at least wait a month or two to give them a chance to get the kinks worked out. There were definitely some hiccups with the ordering process. I got there ~15 min before the movie started and ordered food, but there must have been a mix up because it arrived cold like 20 minutes after the movie had already started. On top of that, it doesn't seem to accommodate some of the realities of interacting with other people in public. An older couple bought the two seats on either side of me on the assumption that they would be able to convince me to move over one so they could sit together. Normally I would be slightly annoyed but accomodating with that situation, but I had already ordered using the QR code specific to my seat; I ended up moving, but throughout the movie I was worried they would scan MY old seat's QR code and buy something on my tab on accident, and of course I had to intercept all my food before it was given to them. Another aspect about ordering that I disliked was that in the last 2 minutes of the movie I got a text saying my tab had been closed. I'm fine with automatically closing a tab for people who forget to do it themselves, but give people a CHANCE to do it themselves please, the credits hadn't even started yet. Especially since it adds a 20% tip by default - what if I wanted to give more or less or keep it open to buy a dessert out in the lobby or something? A grace period of even 15 minutes would have been appreciated. Like I said, I'll be back, but I may wait a month or two to give them a chance to work out all the kinks. read more

What a disappointment :-( As a Reston-native who grew up during the Bow Tie era, I was excited to experience the new and improved LOOK Dine-In Cinema with my son. Nine days after the grand opening we dropped in for "Five Nights at Freddy's" only to leave with five reasons to never return. 1. For starters, we arrived to find a family sitting in our center row seats. The manager explained they had "double-booked" and ushered us to find somewhere else to sit. He handed us a few free movie passes for the inconvenience, so I let it slide. (down hill from there) 2. As we sat in suspense waiting for the movie to start, we struggled to get comfortable in the "reclining" chairs. The cushions were rock hard, the leg-rest cuts off at the knees and the seat doesn't fully recline. 3.If that wasn't enough to send your back into a spasm, try the food (or better yet, don't). The pizza is trash. It's worse than cafeteria school lunch. The coconut shrimp was decent. The sweet potato fries would have been better if they weren't served cold. The average meal runs $16-$22 and the fountain drinks are non-refillable. 4. Our waitress was awful. She took our order, left us for dead and then helped herself to a 20% gratuity. When I asked for a receipt, the manager said receipts are "uncommon." He explained all orders are automatically charged a 20% gratuity and they don't generate paper receipts. 5. Without a receipt, we made our way to the exit and was confronted with yet another lasting impression, "out of service." The age-old escalator that had been broken for years, is still "out of service." How embarrassing. They should call this place, "DON'T LOOK, Don't Eat Cinema." read more

Came here to see Christmas Vacation. Dining service was pretty terrible. Took them 45 minutes to bring us a bottle of water because they kept forgetting about it -- we reminded multiple waiters we had not gotten it. Also had to leave the theater and track down a waiter to get napkins because they helpfully gave us only one napkin for 4 people. Used that opportunity to remind them they still had not brought us the bottle of water we ordered. Food and drinks subpar for the price (~ $100 for 4 people). Won't be coming back. Not recommended. You're better off going to the Alamo at One Loudoun. read more

Came back here again and upon walking in the theater, it looked like no one cleaned up the theater from the previous showing. Popcorn was still on the seats - paper still on the tray... The seats we reserved had some stains on it - it wasn't cleaned. Luckily there was no one next to us so we took those seats. No one came to greet us. No clue what's going on. read more

LOOK is part of a relatively small chain of movie theaters and is situated in a prime location in RTC. It is a short walk from free (evening and weekend) parking which is very convenient. The theater boasts two levels of theater spaces. The bar is in the upper level and has indoor as well as outdoor balcony seating which I haven't seen before at a dine in theater. The management and staff there are incredibly friendly and helpful. The alcoholic beverages are made with attention and care. I have not ordered food inside the theater so I can't speak to that but the chicken sliders I enjoyed by the bar were excellent with a nice buttery bun and moist chicken. The theater itself had good visual and sound systems. I could have used a lumbar pillow but maybe that is a personal issue. Servers came in and out of the room during the movie but did so discreetly, which I appreciated. The overall vibe is more fun than the average theater and I think LOOK would do well to capitalize on that aspect. read more

Very average for a "state of the art..." theater. Alamo and AMC still lead the way. However, understanding this is their opening week (Nov 2023), I can cut them some slack; it's possible things can/might improve but here's my synopsis: The film screen and sound were on par but just on par - nothing spectacular. Dolby cinema and RPX at AMC and Regal are miles better. The theater vibe (in the screen/seat) was bland and dark; no designs nor unique themes nor light effects. Plain and empty. The seats reclined but were average compared to other competitor (newer) theaters. Nothing special here again. The service and food were okay, but the large drinks were not refillable, which was disappointing. Given it's a new theater, there's an opportunity for it to get better. Overall, this theater might be an upgrade to its previous Bowtie, but honestly, compared to Dolby cinema theaters at AMC and laser screens at some of the new Regal Cinema theater along with Alamo's overall thematics in-screen and vibe, not to mention all of new theater recliners, this theater is average at best. *Yes, I only sat in one screen and it's possible that other screens might have a different vibe and be better, but this is my initial take-away. Looked forward at first due to the nice reclining seats but everything else was awful. Popcorn was cold, I paid 9 dollars for an icee cup the size of a kids cup, and portions were tiny for the amount charged. I was told popcorn and drinks were refillable, and then told they were not well after I got the drinks. There was also a light above one of the seats the entire time, and we were told it couldn't be turned off. I can handle food being not as good as I expected but it is absurd that drinks are not refillable considering the price they're at. Overall would not recommend at all, unless you are going purely to watch a movie and not to eat at all, which defeats the whole purpose of a dine in theater. read more

One star is generous... I've been to Look Cinema several times, and unfortunately, my experience continues to disappoint. During our most recent visit, the system was down, which we completely understood and tried to be patient about. However, several issues stood out and made the overall experience frustrating. First, the theater wasn't cleaned until about 10 minutes before the movie started. It's always concerning when basic cleanliness is neglected, especially considering how close it is to showtime. We ordered two drinks and one large popcorn 30 minutes before the movie started, but waited over an hour, I had to leave the theater to track someone down just to find someone to grab me the popcorn. I understand that it's a theater and service may not always be quick, but waiting this long is completely unacceptable. Overall, the lack of attention to service and cleanliness is disappointing. With so many other movie theater options available, I won't be returning to Look Cinema again. It seems like better management is sorely needed to improve the experience here. read more
