Food, service, ambiance--all excellent! We spent considerable time in our quest for Moo Go Guy Pan and found Look See. We highly recommend Look See for your Chinese cravings!

I was in the mood for Chinese and gave this place a try. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli lunch special. When I arrived I parked in the lot. I walked in and was greeted and paid and left. When I ate the meal it was really tasty! I enjoyed the meal! I had a good experience.

Was pleasantly surprised about how much we liked Look See. Got takeout on a Sunday night. The chicken teriyaki was pretty tasty and not greasy at all. Has a nice grilled taste with NJ ya I'd pepper. The miso soup was good. The steamed pork dumplings were standard takeout style so obviously they were delicious. Delivery took foreverrrrr (well past the estimated time) so they get dinged a star.

Look See is currently my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area and has been consistently ranked as one of the best too! I have been going to Look See for over 30 years with the previous and current owners. I have always been very happy with how good their food always is! ... Be sure to try their delicious specialties, (or you'll be missing out on their authentic Chinese dishes such as, Chef Wang's Chicken (aka Chef Wang's Chicken Chinoise), Triple Fragrance, Jumbo Shrimp in Ginger & Scallion Sauce, Look See Singapore Mei Fun and many more! Our server the past 3 times eating dinner there has been Lu-Lu and she is such a pleasure to deal with and to talk with. Feel free to asked for her!

A excellent Chinese restaurant. I love their crispy beef! I wish their crispy chow mein noodles were the large flat type as I like to nibble on that type while waiting for the meal. I like their lunch options and am including pictures of the lunch I'm having today . Yum!

Best Quality Chinese. These 3 Items were $51.55, but worth it. Easy Online Ordering & Always Ready for Pickup Quick.

Every roll was a specialty roll, and it really showed. If there's ever a question about whether their specials are worth it -- they absolutely are. We finished all five rolls (no regrets) and topped it off with green tea matcha mochi for dessert. Maybe next time we will do 6. Great picks, great balance, and everything hit the spot. Naru never disappoints.

It's an intimate spot with only four teppanyaki tables, and we were seated promptly. My family has been going to hibachi for over 50 years to celebrate special occasions, so we know what to expect. Unfortunately, this visit was a total letdown. As is standard, we shared a table with another party--a family with three kids. Right away, there were red flags: the kids were hyped up on candy, spilling things, and spreading out so much that I was repeatedly bumped into and forced to eat off the edge of the table. Management and servers saw this unfolding but never intervened, even though they clearly knew the family. Then came our cook, "Chef John," and things went further downhill: Complete Lack of Engagement: Wearing a baseball cap instead of proper chef attire, Chef John spent the entire meal chatting with the other family (who were clearly regulars) while ignoring us like we weren't even there. No Showmanship: Teppanyaki is about the experience-- jokes, knife tricks, tossing shrimp, flipping eggs. Chef John did nothing beyond a single, basic onion volcano. Bland & Poorly Executed Food: The food lacked real flavor--no ginger or garlic, just heavy salt, pepper, and soy sauce. The steaks were hit-or-miss (the ribeye was moist, but the filet had dry sections), and seafood wasn't cut into bite-sized pieces for chopsticks. Order Snafu & Arguing: All three of us ordered steak and shrimp combos. He served full shrimp portions to two of us, but gave the third person only an appetizer portion. When we brought up the mistake--despite him confirming orders earlier--it turned into an uncomfortable debate over whether she was "entitled" to the rest of her meal. We eventually got the missing shrimp, but the damage was done. Between the chaotic table dynamic that staff ignored, zero entertainment, bland food, and having to argue for the food we ordered, it ruined a birthday celebration. I seriously doubt that we will be returning.

The sheer amount and quality that you get for the price is unbelievable and I am thoroughly impressed every single time. The interior was spacious, and actually had two connected dining rooms with plenty of seating. The ambiance was casual but pleasant. For drinks, it was BYOB, so my parents brought their own beer and wine, and Masa provided the glassware. For food, I started with the Salmon Tartar, which was fresh and very tasty. The portion size was large enough to share between a few people. I also tried some of my brother's T.Y.S. Sashimi, which we really liked - great cuts of fish. The Wasabi Octopus was a unique dish, but the wasabi flavor was a bit too strong for me. For my entree, I chose the Spring Scallops off the specials menu. While I'd never seen a roll like this before, I can't say I was obsessed. The scallops were tasty, but the spring roll inside of the sushi rice was a little strange. My family enjoyed the rest of their items, including the Crazy Roll (very large portion size), Nabeyaki Udon (one of our favorites), Spicy Salmon Roll, Negihama, Yellowtail Sashimi, and Eel Sushi. Service was fast and friendly! Overall solid for dinner - would return.

Solid local sushi spot with a chill vibe…read more Sushi and Sashimi Special ($75) - This party platter comes with 12 pieces of sushi, 18 pieces of sashimi, 6 piece spicy tuna naruto roll, and 6 piece california roll. I think it would be enough to feed 2 people, but if you have more than that, you probably want to order another roll or two. Everything here was pretty good. The fish seemed average freshness. The naruto roll was unique with cucumber around the outside, though the tuna was not really spicy. I specifically thought the sea bream (white fish) sashimi was good, as it had a creamy taste and consistency. Julie Roll ($15) - This roll was delicious, with a nice combo of yellowtail, salmon, and tuna in one roll. In addition, there was mango for some sweetness, avocado, and cucumber in there. It was topped with red fish eggs and had a soy wrapper around it, which made it a little unique. Beauty and Beast Roll ($15) - This is sort of a 2-in-1 roll, as half of the pieces have tuna on top and half have avocado on top. There is also shrimp tempura inside along with cucumber and eel. Another tasty roll. The restaurant has a very chill vibe inside. There were a couple others dining in as well for Sunday lunch. The staff are super friendly and even gave us a side of edamame on the house. The service speed was pretty quick. Overall, if you are in the mood for some sushi (either dining in or take-out), I think Nigiri Sushi would be a very good option, particularly if you are in the Franklin Lakes area.
