Nigiri is consistently excellent! The best sushi in north Jersey. The owners are extremely nice and always take care of their customers. I love the tekka don, hurricane roll, and Oakland roll. I can trust that the fish is fresh! This was my first meal after giving birth because I missed Nigiri sushi so much!

Absolutely incredible! I'm so glad I discovered this place while in town visiting a friend. I will definitely be back all the rolls are amazing. Especially the Andy Roll and the No Money Roll! Don't look elsewhere this is a sushi slam dunk.

Super fresh sushi with great service at an affordable price! I recently reviewed Hiura in Fort lee as the best sushi I've ever had. I figured it's only fair I divide this category into Japanese sushi and Western Sushi. While Hiura remains my favorite Japanese sushi restaurant, Nigiri Sushi has won my heart as my favorite western sushi spot (the main difference being that western sushi uses many more ingredients than Japanese sushi). All of the staff, including the sushi chef behind the counter, greeted us as we entered. We got the No Money roll, spicy salmon roll, boston roll, shrimp tempura roll, and the chicken teriyaki box, which all came with free miso soup and salad. The chef was even nice enough to give us each a piece of nigiri to start and a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert. All of the food was delicious, but my favorites were the no money roll and the spicy salmon roll. I was also happy to see that when they served the food, they clearly explained what each roll on our plate was, rather than just stating each dish's name. The only thing I wished they had was more non-sushi options, but if that's the cost of fresh sushi at an affordable price, I won't complain. Definitely would come again!

I'd eat every meal here for the rest of my life and be happy. Something about their fish is just always better and better every time we go (which is one if not more times a week). No matter what day of the week it is, it's always fresh. The best part is that the sushi chef knows exactly how to cut the pieces so they break perfectly in your mouth, and just the right size so you don't feel like you have a chunk of goo in your mouth like other places. Even menu items that aren't fish are great here. I have to rave about a few of my favorite items. The seared salmon sashimi is incredible, I love love love the hurricane roll, and I'll get the Julie Roll and Oakland roll every time. Amazing amazing sushi. By far the best for miles.

It's taken me a while to find my absolute favorite sushi spot, but Nigiri is the ABSOLUTE BEST! First of all, Julie is WONDERFUL! She is incredibly friendly and just an absolute doll! She is so accommodating when it comes to the menu, you can really change any single roll you want to make it your own. I use to eat sushi rolls the way they were, specialty rolls with crunch, sauce etc. Nigiri does an excellent job with all of their specialty rolls, salads, soup, etc. Fish is ALWAYS super fresh!!!! Now, my husband and I have changed our lifestyle to be a little bit healthier. We now request our specialty rolls without rice!!! (Keto/low carb) Julie makes sure all of our favorite specialty rolls are done that way! No rice, no crunch, sauce on the side. And guess what? It is BEYOND DELICIOUS!!!!! Also, if you dine here frequently, Julie saves your order on the side so when you walk in, they know exactly what you want! 10000x highly recommend !!! I can't say enough about this establishment. So glad it is so local to me!

Meh...2.5...still prefer Corroco and Sakura. Ordered several rolls which were pretty good: rainbow, French kiss, shrimp tempura, gyoza and plain noodles for the kids. Unfortunately there was a mosquito in the udon noodles which my son noticed so I'm taking off a star for not catching the bug before serving it.

Hannah roll and Oishi roll.... Love it!!

Services was not that great. My water smelled terrible. I was not able to drink it. The soy sauce was the bad kind. Ruined the sushi more.

Every roll was a specialty roll, and it really showed. If there's ever a question about whether their specials are worth it -- they absolutely are. We finished all five rolls (no regrets) and topped it off with green tea matcha mochi for dessert. Maybe next time we will do 6. Great picks, great balance, and everything hit the spot. It's an intimate spot with only four teppanyaki tables, and we were seated promptly. My family has been going to hibachi for over 50 years to celebrate special occasions, so we know what to expect. Unfortunately, this visit was a total letdown. As is standard, we shared a table with another party--a family with three kids. Right away, there were red flags: the kids were hyped up on candy, spilling things, and spreading out so much that I was repeatedly bumped into and forced to eat off the edge of the table. Management and servers saw this unfolding but never intervened, even though they clearly knew the family. Then came our cook, "Chef John," and things went further downhill: Complete Lack of Engagement: Wearing a baseball cap instead of proper chef attire, Chef John spent the entire meal chatting with the other family (who were clearly regulars) while ignoring us like we weren't even there. No Showmanship: Teppanyaki is about the experience-- jokes, knife tricks, tossing shrimp, flipping eggs. Chef John did nothing beyond a single, basic onion volcano. Bland & Poorly Executed Food: The food lacked real flavor--no ginger or garlic, just heavy salt, pepper, and soy sauce. The steaks were hit-or-miss (the ribeye was moist, but the filet had dry sections), and seafood wasn't cut into bite-sized pieces for chopsticks. Order Snafu & Arguing: All three of us ordered steak and shrimp combos. He served full shrimp portions to two of us, but gave the third person only an appetizer portion. When we brought up the mistake--despite him confirming orders earlier--it turned into an uncomfortable debate over whether she was "entitled" to the rest of her meal. We eventually got the missing shrimp, but the damage was done. Between the chaotic table dynamic that staff ignored, zero entertainment, bland food, and having to argue for the food we ordered, it ruined a birthday celebration. I seriously doubt that we will be returning.

We had several servers handling our order. To start, I had a hot tea with honey. The honey was an interesting consistency and was not as thick as expected. Seemed to be a little watery but the taste was good when mixed in my tea. For appetizer, we split the Crispy Ddukbokki which were sweet & spicy crispy rice cakes with a side of a soft boiled egg, topped with everything seasoning. We both really enjoyed the flavor of these rice cakes. For my main course, I had the Rainbow Salad with grilled chicken. The portion was very good and all of the veggies in the salad were super fresh. The presentation was very pretty. Parking can be a bit tricky but luckily we were able to find parking on one of the side streets. Overall a cute little breakfast/brunch place in the Glen Rock downtown. It does get very busy on weekends so reservations are a must.

However, we do love Korean food and search it out from Connecticut to Delaware. In fact, I love Korean food so much that, while I'm a vegetarian, I will always try the Korean BBQ when we find a new place (sorry cows). Follow up visits, I go back to tofu options. Anyway, Seoul Express is more like the newer casual type of KFood that's become very common in the NY metro. Geared towards takeout with just a couple of tables, the menu is paired down to bowl style meals with mainly Korean flavors, with a few other options thrown in--such as poke bowls. My husband and I got the Japchae (sweet translucent noodles with vegetables and bulgogi beef and the Dolsot (hot stone) Bibimbap which is an option if you eat in. Both were excellent. The Japchae was very much more of a commercial American taste than a traditional sit down old school K restaurant--if you've ever had it at a BonChon Chicken you know what I mean. But the hot stone bibimbap was amazing. Exactly like my favorite version of the dish ever at a small family Korean restaurant in a Parsippany strip mall that unfortunately didn't survive Covid. The accompanying goojujang (spicy red mixing sauce) comes in a small takeaway container but they're happy to give you more if you're the type who likes to squirt half the ketchup bottle of the stuff into your bibimbap (like me). Bergen county has amazing KFood options and we drive there all the time from Hunterdon County just to get some. Seoul Express just put Passaic County on the KFood map. And being casual, the prices are reasonable. You have no excuse not to try it.

Once you sit down you scan a QR Code to order your food and drinks. I was pretty hungry that day so we ended up ordering a ton of food. The drinks were pretty good and they were served in Le Creuset mugs. Not the biggest deal, but I can appreciate some nice drinkware. The bowl of Kimchi Fried rice came out first. It was a generous portion and the rice was cooked well, but I feel like it could've used some more kimchi. The eggs on top were cooked perfectly and added good texture to the dish. The next dish to come out was the HK French toast. The bread was nice and fluffy which paired well with a nice generous drizzle of condensed milk. I enjoyed this a lot. We also ordered scallion pancake, pork barbecue, and bossam baos. These were ok, I would probably pass on a return visit. I felt like the meat in the baos was a little tough though they did have decent flavor. The last entree was the smoked salmon and avocado croissant; I really enjoyed this. It had a generous helping of smoked salmon and avocado as well. The saltiness of the salmon paired well with the creamy and fatty avocado. The croissant was also nice and flaky. It was also served with a house salad which had a nice drizzle of dressing on it too. For dessert we ordered a Black Sesame Souffle Pancake. This was SO good. A few months ago I visited a place in Princeton that specialized in these Japanese-style pancakes and Tasty Junction's version was so much more enjoyable. I loved that it was served with a healthy scoop of ice cream. The pancake was airy and had a bounce to it. Each bite was so good and made even better with the ice cream. I'd definitely come back just for the pancakes. All in all Tasty Junction is a great spot tucked away in Glen Rock
