Service: this place is busy with skiers and employees can take some time to get to you. Food can take time to get delivered as well. Be patient. Food: ordered the nachos and chili. The chili was being made so our server said it might take 20 minutes. It is made fresh and the batch was just cooking. She said the nacho can serve 2 people, so we ordered nachos to share. We asked that brisket be used instead of ground beef, she said no problem. It did take almost 20 minutes to get our nachos and the cheese was stone cold. We asked if the nachos could be warmed up. Apologies and right away nacho taken away. They were brought back within less than 5 minutes steaming hot cheese. The cheese was not very good, but the brisket makes these nachos and the sour cream really complimented.

Sometimes you order, eat, and receive your check in a timely manner so you can get back out on the mountain.... Other times you are fighting for your life to cash out and everyone leaves behind one person to finally pay. Food is also hit or miss. Last winter my daughter and her girlfriend received raw cheeseburgers we sent back, and this year the girls received frozen food we had to get back into the deep fryer. Going up top into Moguls is more of the atmosphere change from the crazy/chaotic/ over crowded/ noise of down below. 90 percent of the time we all eat down below and go up top simply for the cocktails. The resort would make so many of its loyal customers happy if they upped the food game in moguls and Noah's. The best food is the cafeteria. I suggest bringing some snacks in your back pack and eating once you get down off the resort property. Nice place to sit and have some drinks but that's about it.

Unbelievably disappointed I have been coming to this…read moreCampground for 5 years. The first two years were super great as Country Lane River Resort. The third year, the new owners, the two married couples took over, there were some stumbling blocks and some. We let that go and decided to go back the next year. That was 2023. In 2024, my group of about 65 women rented the entire tent circle plus about 10 other sites, which included five RV spots. We would quietly be enjoying meeting with our group in a circle, not blocking the public walkway and not disturbing anyone, when we would get harassed by a group of drunk folks that were completely disruptive. One woman specifically harassed our group for more than 30 minutes, walking back and forth, yelling into the circle, we actually invited her in at one point just so she would stop. I took this to the camp host and they said they would do something about it, but we ended our meeting early after her continued taunting. I am absolutely disgusted. We rented tent sites A-L and RV spots 4, 5, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 21 for July 17th through the 20th. The evening of the 17th was fairly uneventful. The evening of the 18th, the same woman from last year, with a larger group, came into our big circle screaming and asking what we were doing there and that we should leave and go meet somewhere else. This went on for over an hour and throughout the night. Then, someone dressed in a gorilla suit, with a large group of other drunks, was going to each of our campsites and scaring women. One of our group went to complain to the host and nothing was done about this. On this last day, the 19th, the campground hosted a live band, which we were not informed of, until the day we arrived; after paying over $3,200 to rent all of these sites, it would have been nice to have known this. When the live band went up, it was really no problem, the other campers seem to be willing to let us drive in and out of the campground. There were probably 40 people that were standing in line to get drinks as I was trying to drive out of the complex and as I was leaving, the drunk folks were nice enough to move out of the way so I could exit the campground but Chris, one of the owner's, stopped me screaming in my face and waving his hand that our group is no longer welcome here that we were a huge problem every year and that I needed to leave and not come back. I was shocked & disappointed we were being treated this way and he said that no one is allowed to come back into the campground until the band leaves. I personally have a disability and I was with another woman with disabilities and I have a handicap placard on my vehicle. It is beyond comprehension that someone would make me park my truck down the road and walk back to my camper. It's disgusting actually! We also had a woman who we later found out broke her fibula who was not allowed to ride back in a vehicle to her camper. I ask him what if there was an emergency and I needed to get out and he did not care. We were told that we were never allowed back at the campground, not that we didn't already make that decision for ourselves the night before, but I cannot believe that you could pay for a campsite and not have Camp hosts that are watching what's going on around the campground to make sure you're safe. There was also a point where we were told by some people looking to set up their tents that they we're told by the camp host that they could have any open spot in our Circle, even though we had reserved and paid for all of those spaces! I would not recommend anyone having children go to this Campground or anyone with disabilities or anyone who wants to be able to drive their truck back and forth from their campsite. If they have other plans, you will not be allowed to do so. I highly encourage the campground to have a host that walks through every night to make sure that no one is getting bothered by the other campers. I also strongly recommend that if the campground have an event, it be posted on the site and that the campers who have already paid for their spots be informed of what's about to happen so they can decide for themselves whether or not they want to be a part of that.

The food has always been fantastic and portions are very large. On this occasion I had the meatloaf sandwich special. The meat was nearly 3" thick , fully covered the bread, and was super tasty. Service has always been spot on with drinks being taken care of regularly. They are also just friendly folks that make you feel like you're being welcomed into their home. When finished with your regular meal, I'd advise keeping some room left for dessert. They always have a nice assortment of pies available.
