And after doing my due diligence of researching some places nearby, I found another aesthetician who ruined my hair. Not only did I sit in her chair for eight hours but I also walked out with a $200 hair note and a fucked up hair situation. It was completely messed up. Needless to say, I was in DESPERATE need of some immediate hair repair. I called THIS SALON AND CRIEDDD on the phone to Jordan, who was kind enough to take me in and take care of me last minute without an appointment. Jordan not only did she only fix my hair, but she was also super kind and understanding of my situation. She deserves a fucking EMMY FOR BEST HUMAN EVER I swear. They had an online "test" that you can take and they'll send you a list of stylist that matches your answers and personality type. Out of the 3 I got matched with I chose Jessica Maez. Jessica was very professional and very personable. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. And the best part was that she was really fast and my hair turned out great. The MIDDLE pre-calculated gratuity was 28%. Does it say that it's 28%? No. Usually the pre-calculated amounts are 15% on the left, 18% in the middle, and 20% on the right or something similar. I would even accept 18% / 20% / 22%, but 28% as the middle?! That's crazy.

Update below. I've never sat in a chair before and thought…read moreto myself, "this person doesn't know what she is doing.". Well, that happened here. I asked if she had time for color, asked for a silver grey and a trim for my pixie. My hair is a sickly ash color and the pixie looks like I got into a fight with a lawnmower. I can't even get it fixed because it would require a buzz cut. $295 out the window. LF&D did call and said they would have another stylist fix my hair. The cut can't be fixed, it's a pixie and I declined to have the color redone. No offer of a refund of any kind.
