Love this Salon. Love Milla. She is a fantastic artist. I made a consult appointment with her back in November 2024 to gain an understanding of a gray transition. What she has accomplished over the past three months is beyond what I ever imagined. I have a white streak in the front that I've kept colored since I was 14 years old. Milla brought out that streak which has been absolutely amazing. I receive compliments from strangers regularly when I'm out and about - young and old. I'm not used to being approached by strangers about my hair. LOL That said, it is especially fun to have sassy, beautiful, hair in the middle of the gray hair transition. I absolutely hate this place. I am new in Texas and this place is very close from house so I thought of giving it a chance to this place. Two things I wanted: 1. Curtain bangs 2. Dark maroon hair color. I ended up getting is fringes and some nasty hair color on me which has been ruining everything I wear. I have washed my hair 3 time ever since I have had it done and it's still ruining my clothes. Mind you this place is not cheap then why do they use cheap colors on their clients? I am very disappointed. I told the hair stylist right after my hair cut that I do not like it, this is not what I wanted. I am so upset about going to this place. For the past year I've been seeing Avery. I give her credit for being able to lift my hair without it falling out as it has in the past prior to her. She had been consistent with highlighting until the last session in which she left splotches of unlifted hair along the hairline which had not been done with the prior sessions and was out of the consistent work from the past. This was not normal. I asked that it be fixed and she did so marginally. I also came in for a cut to get hair off the back of my neck. (Always a problem when growing it out) There was no consultation of how to cut it prior to the cut. It also needed to be modified and was done with angst at the time of service. I then received a text stating that my next scheduled appointment for coloring would be canceled with no recommendations of other possible stylists/ colorists. While I applaud her coloring talents and knowledge, it seems she is also unprofessional in her communication. Canceling appointments and dropping clients over texts versus having a discussion so both parties can take responsibilities, see the others view and make a plan to move forward is not in her forte. I hope in the future she is able to learn how to communicate in a more mature matter as I think it would cause her to have great growth in professionalism with her clientele. read more

So so SO happy with my hair!!!! I haven't put any heat or color to my hair (due to damaging it with box dye) in about 3 years so i was a bit nervous, but I had the privilege to sit with Avery today and she was the sweetest most down to earth hair stylist I've had in a long time! she took her time and listened to what I wanted while still giving me her professional opinion and i left more than satisfied. A month ago I would have given Salon Le Volume 5 stars. I started going to Salon Le Volume about 5 years ago and it was fantastic. Melissa provided the best experience. She really took the time to get to know me and my hair. Whenever I would arrive for my appointment, she'd hand me a mimosa and we'd talk about what was working for my hair and if I wanted to make any changes. She would then do the most shampoo. Her fingers were magic! After, she would give me an awesome cut and gorgeous blowout. Sadly, Melissa moved out of state and the stylist who has taken over her clients is no Melissa. The cut the stylist gave me was fine. The experience was terrible. She spent next to no time trying to get to know me and understand my hair. She put nothing under my neck while shampooing me and when I mentioned my neck hurt and would like something under my neck she said the neck rests made it harder for her to shampoo. I didn't want to be seen as difficult, so I didn't push it and just sucked it up. She finished washing my hair and then didn't even put it in a towel! We get to her chair and I am super nervous and I ask for just a baby cut. She said she was going to follow what Melissa had done, she seemed to be taking bigger chunks than Melissa. She then finishes my hair and asks if I just want to let it air dry! Never been asked that. I said I would like my hair blown out. Again, she did a fine job. Time to pay and I noticed her price was higher than I'd ever been charged at the salon, but I didn't want be some kind of Karen and like I said, the cut was fine. I paid and left a tip, not my normal tip, but it was still 20%. I then get to my car and look in the mirror to see my face is covered in hair. She didn't even clean the cut bits of hair off my face and neck. Long story short, I don't recommend. read more

I have had a great experience every time and my hair always comes out exactly as I imagined and hoped it would! I had scheduled an appointment with Melissa at 3pm. I was called by the salon the day before and asked if I could move my appointment to 2:15pm, because she had a gap in her schedule. I informed them that I will try, but might be running late, as I was coming from a different appointment. The next day, I called to give them a heads up that I would only be 5 minutes late, and was speeding there. Melissa rudely told me that she had another appointment at 3, and couldn't accommodate me if I was any later. I was shocked with her response, because I was originally her 3pm appointment, and was speeding there to accommodate her. I parked and walked in at 2:21pm. Melissa immediately started rushing me to the back, and said we would have to rush through my haircut. I decided that I'd rather find a different salon and politely left. I don't think it's right to ask a someone to move their appointment for you, and then treat them that way. read more
