Close enough to Saint Ignace, ferries to Mackinac Island (recommend Shepplers) and restaurants... Highly recommend the Buoy Grill restaurant across from the City Marina, owned by a former Coast Guard Man and visited often by Coast Guard Cruz who contribute memorabilia that adore the walls of the restaurant. Also showers available at City Marina for $7. We enjoyed our six days and if our journeys brought us back to the area, we would certainly stay here again.

Be careful with the big rocks. For tent camping it should be fine. The park was alight with brilliant shades of red and amber leaves falling from the trees. It made for a beautiful drive to see the color. The park does require a star park recreation pass or sticker on your vehicle to drive around, but the office appeared closed for the season, yet the park was still open, so it didn't matter. It's a nice sized park and is well-maintained, with plenty of nice spots for taking in scenery, lake views on one side, restrooms, and picnic areas. I recommended it for anyone who loves nature. Visit in the fall while the trees are turning color, yet weather seems temperate.

This RV park is associated with the Bay Mills Resort and Casino. The park is located across the…read moreroad from the casino, which sits on the shores of Lake Superior. Brimley is a small community located 20 miles from Sault Ste Marie, home of the famous Soo Locks. The RV park has 120 fairly level gravel and grass sites; all sites are pull-throughs. The trees around the campsites are small, so you will not experience Satellite interference. Cable TV is available and free if you don't have Satellite. The campground roads are gravel but are packed well and don't produce a lot of dust. All sites have a fire ring and picnic table. Some sites are partial hookup only, so you'll need to specify your requirements when making reservations. There is a dump station on site. We did not use the showers or restrooms, but found the laundry room clean and inexpensive with good, reliable equipment. The WiFi service was strong, fast, and reliable, even when the park was sold out during Labor Day! In fact, the WiFi was the best we've experienced on our travels!
