This past Wednesday evening, as I was on my way to a Yelp event, I stopped here for gas. The female attendant was very nice. However, when I went to their ATM to get cash, my ATM card got stuck in the reader, I guess my nails were a little too long to retrieve it. I literally almost screamed for help, but I didn't scream in a panic lol a very nice gentleman Jose, who works there heard me and came to my rescue. Not only did he help me get my card out. He waited patiently for my transaction to complete. He then asked me, was there anything else that I needed? I replied no, but I truly appreciate you so much for helping me. He replied, you're welcome and it was my pleasure. Little things like that make a huge difference and the fact that he went above and beyond and was so patient with me along with providing great customer service Meant the world to me. Went in on a Sunday afternoon, not too busy. I have gone in every once in awhile over the last few months, I work at a coffee shop in the area. I grabbed a few drinks and went to the register and the cashier did not acknowledge me at all. As I put my items on the counter she gestured to the card reader without breaking conversation with her coworker. I understand it's a convenience store but she did not say a single word to me through the whole transaction. As a customer service worker myself I understand not being talkative but it was an extra level of rudeness I have never experienced before. I was on my way back from Tahoe and made a stop for gas and food. The cheaper gas prices when fueling up with a car wash perked my interest. I had to sign up for a "loop card" which there are not many around my home area (boo) but that was the only way for me to get the cheaper prices. I didn't see on the sign if it said "must have loop card" or whatever, but if there was, I would like to be slapped in the face with it so I don't get blind sided with the prices. I only caught it when I asked the cashier if I got the cheaper prices, I could have fueled up with full gas prices and also pay for a car wash. Now when you do sign up you get enough points to have a 3$ car wash. So that was a plus, cheap wash and cheaper gas, count me in. The assistant manager was really helpful (Asian male with glasses). He's probably a college student, but he was able to guide me through their sign up process (it's on a tablet thing), and told me I already get points for signing up. He totally knew what a drag it was to NEED to sign up for a member ship for better prices, but rules are rules you know? Advice: give that guy a pay raise, cause if he didn't tell me that I had points already, I would be super upset going through the sign up process. Also put a sigh by the membership terminal with something like " to get cheaper prices with car wash, loop card is needed, sign up for free here" would be good. read more

This convenience store is awesome. It's got everything you need when making a pit stop for the people in the car. In addition to the usual array of packaged food and drinks it offers a good variety of hot food, a fro-yo machine, and baked goods, too. We went through the car wash, which was apparently broken and brushed soapy dirt all over our car. Went in to get a refund and they told us we hadn't been charged (of course their stupid kiosk didn't give us a receipt). No offer of rewash. We leave on our car trip because there is no way we are going through that mess again. Check my bank statement and of course they did charge us. I try to call to explain what happened and to get a refund and the "manager" tells us that we have to come in to get a rewash - no refunds. We are already 30 minutes away and none of this was our fault, but she clearly doesn't care and just robotically tells us to come back in over and over. If you like having a dirtier car then when you started, piss poor customer service, and getting ripped off, this is the place for you. Otherwise, avoid this car wash! read more

Went to take my car through the car wash.. the car wash sprayed it with water and then completely stopped and did not finish washing my car. I pulled around and went in to tell the employee what happened and ask for a refund. She stated I would have to come back tomorrow and talk to the manager ( I live out of town and told the cashier that ) her response... it's out of my hands. Came in for a fill up on gas, car wash, and to vacuum out my car + mats. Gas prices here are usually pretty good, car wash was fine. The entire time I was filling up on gas and vacuuming my car I was pretty bothered by the smell of multiple employees smoking cigarettes directly out front, about 5 feet away from the gas pumps. I hate to be that guy but it was really bothersome, and it made me feel less safe at this gas station knowing that lighters were being used right next to people fueling up their cars. Plus, when I went inside to ask if they could break my dollar bill into quarters, the lady behind the register didn't even let me finish my sentence before she told me "no." Huge bummer. If you aren't bothered by cigarette smoke or rude service, stop on by. read more

My car happened to break down very close to this gas station at around midnight on a weekend. We spoke with the clerk and he took down our information and assured us that they will not have the vehicle towed away. He also wrote a note to the next shift employees to that effect. We needed time to find a mechanic to tow it away to. By 1:30 AM they had it towed away. They have a little scheme going with a local towing company that extorts those who get towed away. The car was towed exactly 5 blocks away (0.5 miles according to Google maps) From 1100 to 1700 Olive Drive. The other scammer tow company partner (convicted for obstruction of justice for stolen cars from the Hurricane Caterina victims to unsuspecting victims in california). This second scammer wants $660 for the half mile tow and 2.5 days storage in a dilapidated parking area near the highway. He thinks that because I am from out of town he has the right to extort me. Now I am suing both entities but point is, this is a unscrupulous business place that should be avoided at all costs read more

Everything here is more pricey than most gas station marts I've been to. Best part about it is the 'upscale' vibe and the fact it has some things other gas stations don't carry. However, it seems they mark up everything including cheap stuff. Additional note, their soda machine and froyo machine have been broken/out of order more times than seems normal. read more

I stopped here since my car tire needed some air, service was fantastic, I asked for a gallon of water that hasn't been in the fridge already, since I prefer room temperature water.
