Great addition to the brewery and restaurant landscape in Dayton. This place has incredible margaritas though! The blood orange one is my favorite. Pretty much a full bar. The food menu is expansive and changes fairly frequently. Dare I say the portions are way too big here. It's honestly a bit grotesque how enormous they are, but it tastes good at least. The French fries are one of the best things on the menu with different options for flavor additions. One time I got a salad and it came out on a plate! Very odd and hard to eat. I recommend sharing some dishes here due to the sheer size. The crab rangoons are a must for me every time I come. The sticky tofu appetizer is also very tasty. This place is always hopping, convenient location and tons of parking. The service is exceptional here and they are wonderful at accommodating large groups. read more

Just opened in Centerville, October 4, 2020. Good local brewery with a nice selection of hales light beers hoppy IPA's, and now some darker beers. The location is open and airy and they are doing a good job maintaining distance for everybody's health and safety. The kitchen is fast and the food looks great. I had the deluxe bacon burger and fries. The food is fresh and plentiful. Definitely worth the trip and the money! You can make it a brewery tour by stopping at lock 27 which is close by and end the evening at Adrienne's White rabbit! read more

First time visiting this brewery on Sunday. Very large venue. Plenty of space and tables. They need more TVs and didn't really have a theme to the room but very spacious. Sat at the bar and had a flight. They have 10 or so taps. Did a 4 beer sampling. They have a good variety of light and darker beers. I went for the brown ale and the stouts. Nothing mind blowing but solid. They also have a full food menu. We didn't eat but the burger that the gentleman beside us had on his plate looked delicious. We will definitely give this place another try and order food next time. read more

Bait & switch: called and told hamburgers were $10 on Sunday. I ordered a hamburger/pastrami burger. My bill had it listed for $18. Talked with manager/owner about the bait & switch. He informed me that only the Deluxe Cheeseburger was $10. To be clear the cheeseburger should be classified as a beef burger by their thinking; however, I truly had a hamburger since pastrami is classified as a HAM....!! My bill was adjusted for $10; however, the poor review is the principal. I'm sure many people paid for the bait & switch. read more

Service was good, I enjoy the open concept & ambiance of the floor. We came for brunch and got the Bloody Mary's. I will say they're great. We all got them spicy and they were a good spice and not overly spicy. Between three of us the we all got different things. Steak & eggs w/ potato & toast. The ribeye was a good cut of piece. He got it cooked medium well. Not My style (med-rare) but I was quite surprised. It was still very tender, and had a great seer on the the meat. The eggs are eggs, but obviously cooked well and how they were ordered (scrambled). The toast was pretty hard. I like crispy, but it was a bit harder than he said he preferred as well. They butter the toast though, and that's a nice touch. The Latin burrito is what my gf got and she let me have some. I personally loved this. The egg, beans mix goes so well with the crema on top as well. So good. Now the last thing I got was the chicken and waffles. Now before I tell you guys what I thought of the dish I need you to know I get zero enjoyment about being an honest Abe when I have to be. Well, with that being said here it goes. I love chicken and waffles & it's typically my go-too for a brunch spot. Unfortunately, it was the worst chicken and waffles I've ever had. The waffles was battered and deep fried and by the time you took a bite it didn't really taste like waffle anymore, it just ended up tasting like funnel cake from a fair. If you like funnel cake you may be into this. When I saw it was fried I just expected a crunchier waffles, but the batter on the waffle was just a little too much, and it didn't taste like waffle anymore. Like I said it just tasted like funnel cake. Now I get to the chicken, I was hoping the chicken would redeem the dish but unfortunately it was just as much as a disappointment. The batter didn't have much flavor too it and also just taste like fried. Not the worst but unfortunately the chicken itself was tasteless. It was nice and tender I'll give it that. At the end it just all tasted like funnel cake dipped In maple syrup. Not good. Everyone at the table didn't like it either. Everything else I had was good. Very good. We stopped in for the first time on the way to a concert. The food was delicious. The Korean fried chicken sandwich was great as were the crab rangoon. Beer was average. My wife and her friend really liked the spicy margaritas. They were better than most Mexican restaurant margaritas. We had an awesome server Emili. Was in town for a show and stopped into this brewery just south of Dayton. Excellent music right as we enter, and we immediately see a group of people having a great time at the bar and another at a separate table, felt the atmosphere and was very comfortable right away. The service was incredible, guiding us through the menu and giving recommendations - and I'm not lying to you when I say the Reuben was the greatest sandwich we have ever had. Big enough for leftovers which were amazing second time thru. Too many cool options for us to try them all(food and drink)but the crab rangoon, cheesy German potato soup, cocktails and beers were enough to make sure we come back again next time. 10/10, highly recommend read more

Our second visit to Loose Ends was another success! We made a reservation again and I'm glad we did because they were very busy at 6:00 on Sunday. Even though they were busy and seemed short-staffed, the service was excellent and friendly. The food was just as good as the first time. We tried the jalapeño bombs appetizer this time. Jalapeños with salmon, tuna, and cream cheese, deep fried in a tempura batter and topped with delicious sauces - awesome! I had the same burger as last time, Red Rock Chorizo, and it was every bit as good. I want to try the other entrees, but this burger is SO DAMN GOOD. Hubby had a bacon cheeseburger this time and said it was really good too. I had the parmesan truffle fries again and he ordered the hatch chili fries. Both were good, but we thought the truffle fries were a little better. We're so happy this restaurant/brewery opened so close to home. We especially love the $3 beer specials on Sundays! My husband and I love to visit local breweries- and this is one of the best! Our waitress (Elizabeth) was awesome. Went over the choice of beers and the menu with us along with giving us the back story on the brewery. Just a wonderful vibe! We both tried two different beers which were great. This was a first time visit to Loose Ends with my husband and son. We requested outdoor seating. It was a comfortable summer evening. My first takeaway would be the friendliness of the staff and Manager. Casey was our waitress and she was very nice and attentive. She did an excellent job in answering our questions. The cocktails and beer were top notch. As for the food, you get what you pay for and then some. Not disappointed whatsoever. If I had to critique anything; I would recommend music outdoors. We had a really unfortunate experience tonight. The waiter took our order and then the chef came out to explain that he couldn't make a BLT with the bacon on the side. My wife is a vegetarian and I like the bacon. This is the first time ever where a chef couldn't make a tomato sandwich. Then we pay in cash and the restaurant rounds the change to their favor. That feels like they are stealing from me. If they don't want to make change they should round to the customers favor. No need to come back. Too many other options. read more

We had a great time! My husband said the beer was good, and the margarita I had was delicious. We had one of the appetizer specials, steak in lettuce cups. Super yummy. The husband had a chickpea salad and I had the chefs specialty salmon. The food was great. Usually brewery food is average, but this food was amazing. Staff super friendly and we had the chef and owner come chat with us, as well as a manager who gave us recommendations for other things in the area. Far exceeded my expectations! My wife and I went last night with another couple. We had a great experience! Appetizers Their crab Rangoon was so good, I don't think I can eat it anywhere else now. Their guacamole was also very good. Apparently they change it based on the seasons. Dinner I got the chorizo burger with truffle fries. It was amazingly delicious. The portion of fries was huge and they were also awesome. My wife got their club, which she said it was also great. We don't eat out much, because restaurant food has become so bland and disappointing. That was NOT the case here! I can't wait to go back and try something else. Dessert We tried their pina colada cake and chocolate moose cake. Those were also amazing! Beer I tried their Cream Ale. It was very good and smooth. I love craft beers and can't wait to try some of their other brews. Overall Service We were there at a very busy time. The server did a decent job. Split the queso & the truffle parm fries, and had the charro steak entree (which I had to take home bc I was full of fries and queso) tried a flight of beers as well and loved all of it!! Are my steak next day for lunch and it was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try the wings and some of the jalapeño poppers as well as the other menu items. Arguably one of the best breweries in the area. We tried 3 different beers and they were all good. A few wine options available and there are also sodas with cane sugar! Crab Rangoon was delicious! There were interesting burger options. My husband had one with chorizo and fried avocado. Parmesan truffle fries were probably the most flavorful ever. I had the flank steak which had good flavor. Cleanliness was great! They thoroughly wiped down tables and even chairs between customers. Also have plexiglass to separate parties at the bar. The menus are paper. I was really hopeful for this place. What a time to try to open a business. I'll definitely come back in 6 months and give them another shot. Beer wise, I did a flight of all 5 of their beers. 2 of the five were really good; mega amps and ohms. The food...the wings claim to be twice fried. They were pretty soggy and not crispy at all. The sticky sweet chili sauce was pretty good and the dill ranch was amazing!! We also ordered the seasonal guacamole and chips. The quac was mediocre. Definitely needed more flavor. You get a HUGE serving and plenty of chips. Pricing on all food seemed high. I was definitely expecting the food to be top level based on price and descriptions. The atmosphere is basic, black walls, a couple TVs, no music, no tv sound....I hope more is to come and that this is simply due to the current times and just trying to get the place open. Lastly, the masks. I saw several employees without masks. Including the guy I believe is the owner. Some even pulled their masks down as they talked and as they worked. It's frustrating. Amazing food and service. Okay beer. And being a brewery they should work on that LOL. No west coast style IPAs which are one the most popular beers currently. Now regarding the awkward and awful atmosphere... it's like a bright cafeteria. The ambiance is so uncomfortable I wouldn't choose to go back. If they have good food and good ambiance/patio I'd go back for okay beer. But lacking both I wouldn't go back. They need outside seating or they'll close due to all the competition having bier gardens or patios. read more

Went to get a table by 6:30 for a table of 6, we were there at 6 expecting to have to wait. Was told they wouldn't have a table available until 7:30. Had 8 tables open. So I'm wondering why they couldn't push 2 4 tops together or put 6 chairs at a 4 top. This is complete crap on their part. As a first time customer, and someone who literally never complains about businesses, this is complete crap on their part. First time visiting. I dined alone as I frequently and comfortably do at establishments. I had a reservation for 1. I was looked at by the hostess as if she had never seen a person doing this before. Once I was seated, it took like what seemed forever to be approached at my table and waited on. Wait staff initially seemed very nervous. I picked up strange vibes from them. My main waiter was actually quite friendly and cordial overall. We had a very nice friendly chat. The food was tasty and hot. I had the crab Rangoon, the Santorini burger, and two beers. Again, I picked up a vibe of when was I going to finish eating and leave. I might try again sometime. Again, as a diner who often frequents establishments alone, this is the first time I picked up on a vibe that there was something wrong with me for doing so. read more

First time visiting, with a Saturday evening reservation for five. Seated promptly and all the staff were very friendly. Spacious and well lite atmosphere with large tv screens. Two of us had beer flights which we found to be a good experience. Only two of us had to return our burgers to the kitchen; one ordered well done came out rare, and the chorizo burger was room temperature. They made it right by making two fresh burgers. Don't turn off the NCAA national chpionships when customers are in the restaurant; 3. Buy some dimmers for the lights and add some decorations - the place is very stark. This is a new brewery and restaurant in my neighborhood so I hope to see them succeed! I ordered the ribeye, medium rare. It's was good, however half the steak was cooked very rare. The meal was supposed to come with two sides but I only received one of the two sides. Beer was good. Others at the table enjoyed their burgers. I will try again, I will not recommend the ribeye going forward. read more
