I had Marisco arrange an appointment with me for Thursday at 4pm. He called at 415 to advise he would arrive in 15 minutes. So by 435 he arrived he didn't have samples so we focused on measurements. He took very detailed measurements and advised he would provide a quote for just upstairs and both up and downstairs. He advised he would provide the measurements and quotes a couple of days later. The price was a couple hundred less than the guy I decided to go with. I only went with the other guy because of the delay in receiving the quote. I think they will do a great job if you decide to go with them. read more

I find these negative reviews pretty surprising. Macario was super responsive, very professional, flexible, and my floor and baseboards look fantastic. I posted a quote request through Yelp for a home I was buying. He was the first to respond with an actual answer other than 'call me'. He met me on a Sunday (with samples) to see the job, gave me a price right then and we scheduled it for the week after the deal was completed. He did all the work without me being present and communicated when issues came up. We had 2, first the toilet flange was destroyed and second, the home had a heavy stackable washer and dryer. He and his crew were amazing flexible and worked around us getting pros to move the W/D as well as having to remove the bathroom flooring to do the toilet repair. I highly recommend them. read more

I want to start off by saying that Mr. Lopez is a man of integrity. Our story below is why. Last year when we bought our house in Vallejo, we were adamant about using a local company to replace the decrepit, crunchy 50 year linoleum and carpet throughout our house. We liked the reviews we found for Lopez Flooring and decided after meeting with Mr. Lopez, he was the man for the job. We chose beautiful high end carpets for our 3 bedrooms and a nice vinyl (one step up from pergo) flooring for the remainder of the house. His team did the carpets in one day and the flooring a few days later. Price for the total job was very fair especially given the high end carpet we chose. Fast forward about a year later - my bf and I began to notice the vinyl flooring was starting to feel crunchy. There were a few spots lifting slightly, and soon they began lifting a lot. Parts of the floor just started to come apart. Since my bf works in construction, he was able to tell that it was not work itself that was done by Mr. Lopez, but rather the material itself was defective. We decided to call Mr. Lopez and talk options. After discussion, Mr. Lopez came by and having a look, agreed with us that the material was faulty. But here is what sets him apart from most in these trades - rather than replace the parts that were in bad shape (which is all I was asking for) he decided it was best to replace the entire vinyl flooring so we don't have any problems in the future. Wow! So incredibly thoughtful and honest. So, he and his team came by and replaced our floor with a thicker version of what was done previously. We can absolutely feel the difference. Not to mention, it is another beautifully done job by Mr. Lopez and his team. My bf has a super keen eye for these things and he very impressed with how the new floor turned out. The moral of this - it is VERY hard these days to find someone who will stand by their work. Mr. Lopez and Lopez Flooring will definitely do that as well as an amazing job. For this reason, 5 stars. WOW, let me just say that not only are they professionals but they do an amazing job. They're responsive, super fast but detailed, and get the job done. Affordable, amazing product selection for the samples and they even had the exact floor we have downstairs. Antonio and Junior paid attention to detail and tried their best to even out our 1978 plywood flooring that is uneven and squeaky in certain areas. I called, giving our address and the basics of what we wanted (carpeting and vinyl flooring); the gentleman answering the phone said he was in his van and couldn't take down our information, but that he would call us back "in five minutes or less."
