Beautiful night to be on the rooftop. Last minute Friday evening decision and they were able to seat us outside. Chairs were comfortable outside. Live music inside was good but a bit above our preferred volume level so glad we could be accommodated outside plus the weather was perfect. Drinks to start were both amazing - Butterfly Effect and Blister in the Sun. Daily flatbread special with chicken, tomatoes and spinach was tasty with just the right crunch to the crust. A bit disappointed in the burnt ends though. They are expected to be very fatty but a bit too much in the case. The spicy blackberry jam was a good accompanying flavor. Finished with the Raspberry Cheesecake Chimis to share. Warm with a scoop of ice cream for a great combo. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Bummed to see a processing charge on the bill for credit card use though. I understand that is a fee they have to pay but I see it as a cost of doing business just like having power on to run the restaurant. read more

The Rooftop Lounge is wonderful! A fine dining "like" experience, without too much glitz, glam and outrageous pricing. Our group of 5 had a great experience. Our reservation had us seated immediately and their team went to work. It's really nice inside, small, clean and elegant. There is some nice space outside as well overlooking the city, but too cold to thoroughly enjoy the night we were there. The service was quick and smooth, and the food and drinks from top to bottom were great. Not a single complaint to be found at our table, just smiling faces and happy tummies! The menu is unique, diverse and will likely have something for everybody. I highly recommend making your reservation today, we'll certainly be back again soon. Enjoy!! read more

Another gray day in Syracuse made us hunger for a road trip so off to Oswego we went. Museums, cocktails, and dinner was on the menu. I had been following the Rooftop Lounge since they opened and yes I know February is not the perfect time to sample the rooftop which is closed, but hey that can't stop me! From the moment we entered this beautifully revitalized building where the walls were covered with local art, I knew this would be a great choice. The hostess was so pleasant and escorted us in the elevator to the 5th floor. We walked into the restaurant and were immediately in awe of the beautiful view and the cheerful server who greeted us. We sat at the bar and ordered a local brew from Prison City brewery and I fell in love with the specialty martini menu and choose Burning Love made with Mezcal, Cointreau, lime, and cranberry Jalapeño simple syrup. All I can say is that it was delicious! The bartender was great and gave us so many recommendations when we come back with our kids and grandkids this summer. They have a substantial wine list reasonably prices as well as an extensive bourbon and spirit menu. We did not eat as we had dinner reservations next door, but the creative small plates looked amazing and we will certainly be back! read more

On the 28 th of this month myself and a fairly large group went to "the roof) for a dinner. Let me start the service was truly great. But..... touting a list of bourbon/ whiskey selection my first choice was out of stock, so I made another choice. The was choosing dinner selections myself and another chose the same selection. we were told there was only one order left. I conceded and the ordered the fish entree but was told that was sold out. I saw another cusOmer eating a salad in an interesting shape so I ordered that and it came in a dish unlike what we discussed. That was all before 7 in the evening. this is suppose to be an upscale restaurant. Not in my eyes 4 of the group couldn't finish their dinners as well. A very nice ambiance. read more

I've been so happy to see all of the revitalization projects in downtown Oswego, including the new LITATRO building's Rooftop Lounge. The venue is absolutely gorgeous with spectacular views of the city. Its easy to forget you're in downtown Oswego and not a bigger, more cosmopolitan area. The cocktail list is extensive and on the bar, you see an extensive assortment of garnishes, bitters, homemade simple syrups. Most of, if not all of the signature cocktails, can be made into non-alcoholic mocktails. They also have a list of appetizers and dinner specials that are a fusion of modern and ethnic cuisines. My dad ordered an amaretto sour that was served in a tall Tom Collins glass. I had to take a sip and it was a perfect blend of amaretto and homemade sour mix. I opted for the Blueberry ginger mojito. It was a perfect marriage of flavor. My friend ordered the Raspberry Rose Lemon Drop, a rosy hued cocktail with a rose petal sugar rim. It not only looked delicious, it was. I ordered one for my second round. My mom ordered this as a mocktail, which was a bit too sweet for me, but she really liked it. It was evident that not only are the recipes and presentation inventive, the mixologists know how to make a proper cocktail. Live music, including a piano round out the sophisticated ambience. Adam, our server, was energetic and friendly. We really enjoyed our drinks and I'd come back for dinner another time. read more

First time at this establishment and likely won't be our last. Wife and I went for anniversary night out and wanted to try something new. Great atmosphere and views! Was some drizzle so sat inside, but still terrific. Server informed us that Wednesday's are spin-to-select any random bourbon from their large wall for $10, so of course had to give it a go. Had 2 different selections and both were excellent. Shared a charcuterie board, which had some very good things on it and generous amounts. Also tried beef crostini which was fabulous. overpriced garbage . my wife and I went for our anniversary and she ordered and the dish looked like crap and was very small i ordered the tortellini thinking it was a safe option i was sooooo wrong the sauce was horrible and again the portion was small. The only thing that was ok was the mixed drinks that were also overpriced we left and after paying almost 200$ we were still hungry and went to fast food place before continuing our evening. the staff was great but the food was below average . there are much better places in oswego to eat like southern fare or canales, press box old city hall brewery hell ill even take oswego sub shop over this place . read more

What a wonderful find in Oswego! This was the first time I was in town and this is by far one of my favorite restaurants in the city. It is a rooftop restaurant and lounge with both indoor and outdoor seatings. During the winter months it is gold to be able to sit inside with large windows overlooking the whole city. The restaurant has a very modern vibe, with delicious appetizers and drinks. This place should be an overwhelming hit in Oswego! I ordered the duck dumplings which were crips lite and probably one of the best dumplings that I've ever had. The filet medallions felt a bit dry after eating the juicy dumplings. But I think my palette was changed and I couldn't savior the medallions as much. If I had stayed longer, I would have come to this restaurant again and again. Very nice atmosphere and a staff that go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. They have a nice choice of cocktails and they change things up frequently to keep things fresh. They also have seasonal specials which is fun. If you're a whiskey aficionado, this is definitely the place for you. To go along with their other drink specials, Wednesday night you can "spin the wheel" for a random glass of whiskey. This is a great way to sample various whiskeys including very exclusive pours at a reasonable price. The food is very well prepared and delicious but if you're looking for standard fare type of items, you probably won't find them on their menu. During the spring and summer, their rooftop seating provides a beautiful view of the river and harbor. read more

I've been to the rooftop lounge on multiple occasions, however I've never had the pleasure of sitting on the patio and enjoying my meal. This time around I went to celebrate my birthday with some friends and although the atmosphere is welcoming and beautifully decorated, I would say out on the patios a shaded area would be a nice add on as the sun peaks just right and makes it hard to look while conversing, and it made it difficult to sit in the heat and direct sun. Food was very good. Service was ok. For some reason, this small restaurant thinks it's a good idea to have a live guitar player/singer in the corner with amplified music. He does not need speakers. You cannot enjoy your dinner while screaming across your table to your friends and family. No way I'm the first to mention this. Too bad, as the restaurant has great potential. read more

Mehhhh, beautiful atmosphere but everything else was underwhelming. We ordered cocktails, the waitress was unsure or not familiar with the beverage menu. Our servers told us they were out of ingredients to make a cocktail we selected. Then proceeded to bring the incorrect cocktail. After she set it down on the table she said that is wrong. We have no idea if we ever did get the cocktails we ordered. They tasted like pure alcohol, I can say they pour generous but definitely over-poured the liquor. On to our ordered small plates ordered the filet crostini's were very tasty. The burrata and tomato flat bread had way too much crushed red peppered sprinkled on top to the point our lips were burning after eating it. Had reservations at the Rooftop lounge to celebrate my daughter getting into law school, we sat there for 15mins didn't get a water... 4 other tables waited on... we left... then one of the "partners" who walked by us twice with water,, chased us out the door offering a free first drink, gift cards, we passed... and that's why there are plenty of empty tables up there on a Friday. read more

I had family visiting from out of town & we decided to try this place. It was my first time there as well. We had a 9 pm reservation. We weren't aware that they closed at 10 pm (keep this in mind). Initially we loved it. The food, view, & ambiance. However I was very disappointed at the staff. As previously mentioned, we weren't aware they closed at 10 pm. The staff were doing what they would normally do at the end of the night. Cleaning etc. Our server hardly came to our table. We had to ask other servers for items. The staff was SO loud (talking/cursing). We felt like we weren't even there. We were the last patrons in the restaurant. We felt compelled to leave. It ruined our experience there. Also there was a female hostess there. Initially she was very nice. We engaged in conversation as she walked us to our table. As we were about to reply to her, her radio or something she had for communications, caught her attention. She basically blew us off after that. We found that rude. If you go, make sure you go earlier. Such a shame too. We really liked it initially. The owners need to educate their staff on proper etiquette. Because that wasn't it. read more
