I just had the craziest experience with a driver that dropped off food at my house. The driver calls my wife and says there's a huge dog that's out front and he's not going to get out of the car. My wife and me race outside thinking our dog got out somehow..He didn't. He's in the garage with a secure gate with my mother-in-law.(our dog is also not a big dog) my wife is still on the phone with him and now we're both standing outside and the driver says he still won't get out of the car. My wife says no your ok. you can bring it to us. I go and put the dog inside because the guy is being crazy. This dude throws our order on the ground at the end of our drive way and hangs up on my wife. I have NEVER left a bad review ANYWHERE. This guy was unbelievably rude. My wife and I called the store and told the manager what happened. He then goes on to defend the driver saying he was attacked by a dog somewhere and he's scared of dogs. completely understandable. What's not understandable is being rude, hanging up on my wife, and leaving our food at the end of our driveway. If he would of politely asked for us to come to the car and get it and explained why we would've done it in a heartbeat. I wish I could give negative stars. I have lived in Santa Fe my whole life. I was ordering pizzas at the domino's when I was in high scool and now I'm 34. This guy doesn't need to be going to people's houses. You should 100% fire him.

My previous review of this place was four stars; I'm updating it to add one more star for five. I already like VP&S, but this branch is by far my favorite among the locations throughout Galveston County. Not only is it a few minutes drive from my humble abode, but the food here is even better than its counterparts in LC and Dickinson. Just like last Saturday, I had the Village Special pizza except Santa Fe's was hotter, richer in cheese and toppings, and oh-so huge! The wings here are way better than the ones I had in LC. Tastier, crunchier, and filling. So much so that sauce or ranch dressing aren't necessary. My friend had a strawberry shake (hey Mikey's ice cream) and she didn't like the flavor and there were no real strawberries in it for $10. She's a DQ kinda girl, so don't take her opinion to heart. I finished her shake (oink) and it was yummy! (.50 cents of every shake sold goes to Kidz Harbor) Real nice staff. Bible verses everywhere. The owners are Adrian Hembree and VJ Nandlal who were on the wrong road back in the day and didn't have God in their lives; once blind now they see! They buy their meat from local ranchers and ice cream from a local ice cream shop. (these people are in photos on their walls) The restaurant is huge and has a nice outdoor space, as well as, a cozier inside space. I like their story. I like the staff. The interior reminds me of some of the old school pizzerias I grew up with in Jersey. The pizza is thin and has a crispy charred undercarriage ( that's what happens you use a proper gas pizza oven) instead of the conveyer belt ovens used at most chain pizzerias.
