Really loved the pizza from Brooklyn pizza in Bacliff. We took a slight detour after heading back from pier 6 and decided to order a takeout pie. The interior reminds me of some of the old school pizzerias I grew up with in Jersey. The pizza is thin and has a crispy charred undercarriage ( that's what happens you use a proper gas pizza oven) instead of the conveyer belt ovens used at most chain pizzerias. My husband and I just visited Brooklyn pizza for dinner, we started with some wings, we ordered them extra crispy and naked, so they were amazing, and you can't never go wrong with buffalo sauce! We ordered a 14 inch pizza half Brooklyns House and half Meat Lovers, so the pizza it is hot and fresh as advertised, the crust is crispy, the sauce is delicious, and some good quality cheese, as well as fresh ingredients! I have been remiss in not writing an update for this place. I didn't realize, until this evening, that my initial review was more than nine years ago. Though I might not have checked in every time, I frequented this place many times during the TX 146 construction project -- even after I moved north of the Kemah bridge. And it's always been worth the drive. The pizza here is legit NY-style. Wonderful non-overbearing sauce, and excellent thin crust. Toppings are also clutch, as is the service. (The owner makes the pies; his family serves them up.) This place has always been clean and bright, and that includes the restrooms. It was previously a BYOB joint, until two doofus heads apparently couldn't control their alcohol. Thanks, guys, for ruining it for the rest of us. -- Still, this place remains as delicious as the first time I came here in mid-2015, and we will continue to give them our business. read more

First of all, the way we were warmly greeted and engaged with when we walked in for a pickup order - A PICKUP ORDER! - made us instantly love this place. The pizza we ordered was top tier NY style, thin crust, crisp yet chewy, nice even cook on the undercarriage. Sauce and toppings were on point, not too heavy and not too light. Best tasting NY style pizza in the LC area for sure! The inside dining area looked small, but they had a some clean picnic tables out on the patio just in time for the cooler weather. Brooklyn Pizza. So I finally tried Brooklyn Pizza. It was absolutely fantastic. If you're a fan of New York style pizza this is the place to go in Texas. I grew up in New Jersey and New York City and I've been down here for 20 years, but I have yet to find Pizza that was as good as New York city. Well, that has changed. The pizza is fantastic. The quality of the ingredients are superb. Perfectly baked and the flavor was the best I've had in 20 years. Everybody has different tastes in pizza. But if you're from up north and missing a good New York style pizza. It is worth the drive to try this place. I also ordered a Calzone and OMG, it was absolutely supurb. No one in the area makes a calzone like that. I chatted with the owner, and he's a really nice guy and dedicated to his craft. You have got to go and taste what a genuine New York style Pizza truly is. I'll be heading back there often, and I am definitely going to try his lasagna. I'll report back on that. read more

This place never disappoints, I've been here since they opened and safe to say i'm still addicted. I always order my usual white pizza with spinach, chicken, and ricotta with 10 mild bone in chicken wings. The owners are very friendly and hardworking and they're from Brooklyn, New York. They also have a nice patio outside to enjoy your food with nice music and if your a smoker (like me) it's nice to have the option to sit outside. If you really want authentic NY style pizza this is the place to go, no where else compares!!! read more

Just paid $24 plus I gave a $4 tip on a to go order for two sandwiches that looked like they forgot half the meat !! I left a tip because it's Friday night and I felt gracious thinking it's a local establishment ?! took forever for two sandwiches and there's no one in the place !! We have just relocated to the area and when we saw "Brooklyn Pizza N.Y.Style", we had to try it. Being from the east coast we really miss good pizza. We have tried pizza from Alabama, Oklahoma, Colorado, Hawaii and California with disappointment every time. This guy is from Brooklyn, if you can believe, and has hit the mark. This is the real deal! The crust was thin and crunchy with just the right amount of sauce and great cheese. Best pizza since we left the NY metro area. Tried the eggplant parmigiana with ziti and it was also superb. Definitely not your chain variety (Pizza Hut, Dominos etc.) so don't expect that. The true test is just a pain cheese pie that you fold the slice and enjoy. read more

Just moved to the general area and were glad to find an authentic NY style za. On our first outing, we started with a simple staple - pepperoni pizza. The crust was thin and foldable with a toasty crunchy outer edge. A lot of pizza places like to over sauce their pies to obscure the questionable quality of the other ingredients. Sometimes places add so much sauce, the toppings come off withq the first bite. Brooklyn Pizza did not hide the salty goodness of the pepperoni or the good old-fashioned mozz. My husband and kids really enjoy this pizza, but I personally think it's too greasy sometimes (they do not agree with me). I can't 100% comment on service, my husband is the one who picks it up, however he has never complained or said anything negative. Very pleased with this place. My brother had just moved in the area and we were wanting pizza. Dominos is down the street but we came across this place on maps. I am glad I decided to take the gamble and go here because this place beats dominos easily. We are Simple people so we got the two large pizza one topping deal for $23 and change, and got pepperoni. I moved here recently from Long Island and worked in NYC. I have been spoiled by the best pizza in the world. Brooklyn Pizza is the real deal. They not only come close to NYC pizza, they nailed it perfectly. I really missed real pizza and now I can get it easily. I loved the look and taste of it. I will be back!
