Special of the day - jalapeño waffle and fried chicken
    Vy T.

The food here is great, particularly the fried chicken and waffle. They were also very friendly, greeting us with a complimentary morning elixir (sample of one of their cocktails) which was very kind. The ambiance is nice, clean, and comfortable. They did a great job filling my coffee and checking in. In fact, my only slight recommendation was maybe checking in a tiny bit less. I felt that we were getting checked on every 1-2 minutes by different people which is a little disruptive when having conversation, and could possibly make someone feel like they're being rushed at the end of their meal so the restaurant can clear the table.

We came to try this new restaurant and was excited to see they were offering a pirix fix menu $30 for 3 and it was great! What we had: Starters- pate and tuna tartare bothe were delicious one bites! Tasty and well done, super fresh ingredients! Appetizers- smoked salmon and mousse was wonderful and the butter lettuce with pickled onions was great, the dressing was a little heavy, I'd ask for it on the side Main dish - for an extra $15 we chose the Sable fish and it was well worth it! Although the portions are taster size, it was enough for me, we also shared a side of fries and it was perfect as the food is rich and filling but in a good way! We skipped dessert. The decor felt Parisian with pretty mosaic tiling around the bar seating areas and painted ceilings as well as painted details that remind you of Paris. It is a busy spot so make a reservation. We'd go back and try dishes from their a la carts menu next time! Service is quick and friendly staff greet you as you enter and wish you on your way when you leave. Unpretentious and welcoming.

Lorette Brasserie had some solid hits and a couple misses. I tried the buffalo chicken sandwich with a poached egg and it was pretty good. The hangover sandwich was also a good choice. The French toast, however, was not for me. It wasn't battered enough, and the star anise flavor completely overpowered the lemon curd, so I wouldn't recommend that dish. On the other hand, the side of creamy mushrooms was so good and easily one of my favorite bites. The Caesar drink is absolutely worth trying. I wouldn't necessarily come here specifically for brunch, but it's a great spot for food and drinks, especially if you're not from Canada and want to try something different.

This is a lovely restaurant that we were lucky to get a reservation for during our trip to Whistler. We tried their 3 course Prix fixe menu and although the food was presented thoughtfully and tasted delightful, I unfortunately thought that the portions were not enough for dinner. The restaurant decor was very romantic but a little cramped as the tables were close together. There are lots of people online recommending their brunch and I hope to come back next time to try it.

This place is amazing!! Service is great. Everyone is so friendly and recommend certain items. The Bibb lettuce salad with lardons and walnuts was delicious. The steak frites was so tender and full of flavor that we came back the next night for dinner again. Steak tartare is served beautifully and the bone marrow was a nice touch. We highly recommend this restaurant. We decided to cancel another reservation and come back a 3rd time. Don't miss this spot.

Outstanding brunch! Eggs benedict is 5 stars - finally a place that knows how to do hollandaise right (with a touch of lemon so it has some flavor vs nothing but eggs and butter). The hangover sandwich was good but was very heavy on the sausage (thinner slices might work better?) - it made it tough to eat and fell apart after only a few bites. We are definitely coming back to try the croque madam.

Simply amazing. Forbes magazine was correct. A pleasant surprise. We ordered the three course and entrees. Oh my. Wine and sparkling water and coffee. Left there feeling money well spent

First visit to Whistler and Lorette is located near our hotel. Came in for brunch and the host and wait staff were the best, making sure we were taken care of. We had the Avocado Benedict and Plain Waffle, both were great. Would return if in the area.

We recently dined at Lorette Brasserie which up until a year and a half or so ago Elements was in this location, my wife and I were heart broken as Elements was our favorite breakfast spot in whistler. We decided to try this place and we were not disappointed, ambiance vibe and food were really good. We will definitely be coming back. Servers were welcoming and warm and provided great service.

We were really excited to try this new French restaurant in Whistler. I have only had French food once before and was not sure what to expect.... Lorette did not disappoint! I had the Eouf Mimosa (deviled egg), Coquilles st Jacques (scallop) and Smoked Wild Halibut - SO DELICIOUS! There was four of us ordering different things so I also got to try the Endive and Fuji Apple salad - loved it!, the Salmon Rillettes - so good!, and the asparagus - tasty! My husband ordered the Steak au Poivre but no bites for me... he said he loved it. We were seated at the kitchen bar and really enjoyed watching the kitchen do their thing. We were so intrigued watching them make the Beef Tartare & Bone Marrow that we had to order one of those as well. Wow, that was like nothing I've ever had before and I will definitely be having that again the next time we go back. Our server was very nice and she did such a good job answering our questions about the food and she made some great recommendations. The restaurant was full of people and it had such a great vibe. They have done a beautiful job with the ambiance (I loved the colours!) and the food and the service - everything was honestly amazing. I can't wait to go back!

We tried a variety of dishes across both visits, and every single one was fantastic. The balance of flavors and the way different cultures are blended together is seriously impressive. Some standout dishes: the truffle ceviche was incredible, and the black tiger prawn causa had a sauce that was absolutely fantastic. The tallarín de marisco is a must-order, we loved it so much we ordered it twice. We also had the salmon anticucho and Colombian arepa, and everything was fire. Everything tasted fresh, well thought out, and perfectly executed. You can tell a lot of care goes into each dish. If you're visiting Whistler, Balam is a must-visit. It was easily one of the best restaurants on our trip to Whistler.

The shrimp one in particular is really really tasty, full of flavour. The chicken one is good too with a crispy piece of something. - there is a plantain croquette with amazing sauce. Great texture and it melts in your mouth while retaining crispiness. Tiny though. - the pork tacos are great. Great flavour and I love the chimichurri sauce. - the fries are only OK. A cheese dip but otherwise not much flavour. Would love to come back for a fuller meal.

The sourdough bread was excellent, the salad and soup of the day were both good, and dessert was excellent. I had planned to add scallops to my risotto based on the server's suggestion, but they were out of scallops, so I added prawns instead, which were very good. The only reason this is more of a 4.5-star experience for me is the noise level. The acoustics made the restaurant very, very loud, and we could hardly talk during our meal. I found myself eager to finish simply so we could get out of the noise. Everything else was wonderful, and I will click 5 stars because the food, presentation, and service absolutely deserve it. Sadly, I'm not likely to return because of the loud environment, but for guests who aren't bothered by noise, Wild Blue offers a truly lovely dining experience.

Love how the cocktails are organized by flavor profile. My husband and I loved what we ordered. We also loved all the food we ordered, but the seafood tower is a must have, as well as the chocolate lava cake! 3. Service: top notch! Our server gave us great recommendations, and was attentive without rushing us. We were celebrating our anniversary and the manager brought out glasses of champagne for us. Would highly recommend for a special occasion!
