The people that work here are super nice and the Icecream is so good. They have a lot of options and it's my favorite in the area.

Great FOOD great SERVICE and the AMBIANCE is fantastic family friendly. Go every year. And before the end of season we always get their tubes of ice cream before they close for the end of season. Food was terrible. I was told not to come back because I asked for a refund. Told I "wasted $40 in food" when I only bought $24 worth of food. She was extremely unprofessional, slamming the food into a trash bin. I was told my money was refunded to my card- it was not. Went in with my family after a day at the park. Advertised 24 flavors of soft serve. I ordered vanilla soft serve ice cream sundae with hot fudge and peanuts. The vanilla is the base for the 24 different flavors so it is very very bland. I would not recommend getting plain vanilla. It didn't even taste like cream. It was just cold. If I went back I would either get hand dipped, they had about 6 flavors or a malt. Service was fast. There were tables inside and outside for plenty of seating. read more

They're doing it right for the new normal: one-way line to a drive-up window with a speakerphone where you can place your order. You place your payment (cash or credit) into a basket and receive your items in a disposable carry-out tray. Contactless from start to finish. The quality is still top-notch and the service matches. I'm not sure if any other places would do this... Well, maybe they would, but who knows , this place did do it for me and I was very pleased satisfied and impressed ! upon getting my ice cream. I went out to the car pulled my keys out of the pocket to unlock the car, which is when both scoops of ice cream came out of my cone and rolled under the car onto the pavement, I went inside and told them what happened and they were happily and willing to remake my cone. How awesome is that? That's how you take care of customers.! After a day of boating, we stopped for some ice cream at Lori's. It's a pretty cool place with lots of parking and indoor and outdoor seating. They feature food items like hamburgers, chicken tenders, fries, fried pickles, and many varieties of soft and hard ice cream treats. I was immediately drawn to the Michigan Pothole ice cream by Ashby's. I'm also a lover of butter pecan, so I decided on a scoop of each in a waffle cone. Both were so creamy and delicious!! Ashby's is now one of my new favorite ice cream brands. The butter pecan was some of the best I've ever had due to the flavor and chunks of pecans. I would definitely get both flavors again. My mom and I were driving around the Harrison Township area and both decided we had a craving for ice cream. I checked out yelp and Lori's was highly recommended so we decided to give it a try! I got a vanilla & chocolate twist with the birthday cake shell. My mom got pistachio covered in the chocolate shell. The ice cream flavors were delicious and my birthday cake shell was the best part! I have never seen that flavor before in a hard shell, so for that reason alone I loved Lori's. What I also love about this place is that they have a large menu of shakes, sundaes, edible cookie dough, hard ice cream, a lot of flavors of soft serve, dole whip, sugar free offerings, and chocolate covered novelties. It's worth the extra little drive from the metro park. We have been coming here for 3 years and have never had a bad experience. It is pretty awesome being a regular at the local ice cream shop! They know us when we walk in :) they have 49 different flavors of soft serve and endless amounts of other treats to try! One of my favorites is cotton candy ice cream, dipped in cotton candy, with cotton candy sprinkles. Yes, I am a 12 year old. They have something for everybody and outdoor seating. This is an amazing ice cream place! I'm glad to have stopped by here! I came here on vacation from Oklahoma and very fond of the little ice cream shops on the northeast coast (NY, Maine, Vermont, etc) and surprised to find one just like it! They have a variety of flavors, toppings, etc. they have a $35 banana split!! Very awesome place and highly recommend it. The staff is so friendly and helpful. This place has a massive array of ice cream selections and any ice cream or soft serve lover can find something on here that will do their ice cream craving good. They have a plethora of different types of ice creams and desserts! My personal fave? Definitely the edible cookie dough. That's right! Not cookie dough ice cream...but actual edible cookie dough!
