I personally have never had ice cream here, but I have been here multiple times recently for their coffee! Cold Cow offers various specialty coffee treats (iced, blended or hot) that are delicious. My favorite is their marshmallow madness drink which has marshall's, coffee and whipped cream. Service is always pleasant and I love that they open at 7am during the weekend. Boyfriends loves that they have original screw balls too. Will be back soon! read more

For years, cold cow has been a go to icecream place for my family. I've always appreciated the friendly, fast service, as well as the affordable prices and good portion sizes!! In recent years I have not been there as much due to my dairy sensitivity. This summer, when I found out they offered vegan options, I was ecstatic. I could not wait to revisit one of my favorite places! However after ordering 2 vegan flurries, the total neared $20! I was shocked because I never thought cold cow would charge that much extra for vegan, since I always remembered the store to be a value. I understand that there may need to be an extra charge for dairy alternatives... but it should not be double of what a normal flurry costs. That being said, I was quite upset. Although I love supporting local businesses, its not worth it for me. I can go to Tcby and order the same thing for much less. read more

A St. Clair Shores staple that's been around for decades. They now carry alternatives to ice cream, like frozen yogurt and dairy free ice cream! The dairy free alternative is a bit pricey, but if you have problems with dairy, it will be worth it. This business has always supported high schoolers with providing jobs. It truly is a community feel place and everyone is just happy to be there to get their fix. My fiancé and I love riding our bikes up here in the summer to indulge a bit. He enjoys the milkshakes. They are for sure satisfying. Super thick and flavorful. The strawberry milkshake has chunks of strawberries, so it's like you're still getting a serving of fruit with your shake. They also offer a variety of coffee drinks, along with milk alternatives. I recently ordered a caramel macchiato, which tasted wonderful, but a bit sinful with the delicious caramel syrup they add. Of all things they sell, my favorite item offered is the chocolate covered banana with nuts. No ice cream here, but so so delicious, and huge. Not something I can have in one sitting, usually. My other usual go to are the flurries. I haven't tried one I didn't like so far and you're going to find that these are much more filled with your toppings of choice, over other places nearby. I got the Hawaiian flurry *super basic I know with their endless choices but I wanted something safe and you can't go wrong with coconut and pineapple! To my surprise it was perfect. Creamy soft and chunky just the perfect bite size and they give you so much for a size small. I finished it all!
